Efficient Schemes for Enhancing Performance of Disk I/O in Ring based NUMA Systems (링 구조 NUMA 시스템에서 디스크 입출력의 성능 향상을 위한 효율적인 방안)

  • NUMA 구조 다중 프로세서 시스템에서는 상호 연결망으로서의 버스의 제약을 극복하기 위해 지점간 링크를 이용한 링 구조가 제안되었다. 링 구조 NUMA 시스템에서, 전송이 페이지 단위(2K 바이트 이상)로 이루어지는 디스크 입출력 요구는 지점간 링크에 대한 오랜 접근을 요구하여 지점간 링크의 트래픽을 증가시키는 원인으로 작용한다. 본 논문에서는 지점간 링크의 트래픽을 줄이기 위한 방안으로 입출력 전용 채널을 사용하는 세 가지 디스크 입출력 구조를 제시한다. 제시되는 디스크 입출력 구조를 사용하는 시스템은 디스크 입출력 요구로 인한 지점간 링크의 접근을 없앰으로써 기존 시스템에 비해 트랜잭션의 수행시간을 줄일 수 있다는 장점이 있다. 중앙집중형, 병렬형, 분산형의 세 가지 디스크 입출력 구조를 설계하기 위한 고려 사항과 구현 비용 등을 생각해 본 후, 노드수, 원격 디스크 접근 확률, 디스크 입출력 전송 데이터 크기 등을 달리한 여러 시스템 환경에서의 각 구조의 성능을 비교, 분석해 본다.

  • 이 논문에서는 Fly-Back-Converter로 Interleaving 동작하는 계통연계형 마이크로 인버터를 연구하고 200W급 태양전지 모듈에서 발생되는 전기에너지를 효율적으로 이용하여 계통에 연계하기 위한 전력변환시스템 개발을 목표로 하고 있다. 저렴하면서 효율이 높은 계통연계 인버터를 실현하기 위해서는 기존의 중앙집중식 인버터 구조와 다른 접근이 필요하다. 따라서 영전위 소프트 스위칭이 가능한 2병렬 인터리빙 구동의 Fly-Back DC/DC 컨버터 토폴로지로 입력 단 회로를 구성하여 모든 전력변환 동작이 일어나도록 한다. 출력전류를 사인파 open loop로 제어를 하고 CRM(Critical Conduction Mode) 스위칭 동작으로 높은 효율로 작동을 실현시켰다. 이 논문에서는 인터리빙으로 동작하였을 시 200W급 출력으로 나올 수 있는 전류 최대치를 계산 하였고 출력 전류가 사인파로 동작하게 제어방법을 기재하였다.

  • This study attempts to find out the characteristics of digital currency and currency transformation through the analytical descriptions of the literature. In the early days of the emergence of new currency, market-oriented autonomous monetary adjustment was made along with various attempts by the private sector, and then government-centered central currency management and coordination were made for the national monopoly of profits and power. Digital currency can be seen as the emergence of a new form of money that will bring about paradigm changes. CBDC can be divided into direct and indirect types. CBDC is expected to require a strategic approach by the government or firm as it will bring about changes in the ecosystem of related industries. Libra is a stablecoin designed to minimize price fluctuations, and if it succeeds in commercializing it, it is expected to bring about revolutionary changes in the financial industry around the world.

  • In a study involving 52 large organizations in the savings institutions industry, the relationship between information systems technology(IT) structure and competitive strategy was investigated based on structural contingency theory. Two dimensions of IT structure and two types of competitive strategy were employed to test a contingency mood. It was found that enhanced congruence between IT structure and competitive strategy was associated with higher competitive advantage. The structural dimension significantly associated with the "defender" strategic stance was more centralized and more integrated application of IT, while the structural dimension significantly associated with "prospector〃 positioning was more decentralized and less integrated application of IT.lication of IT.

  • In this paper, a new overload control scheme is proposed for a stored program control system. The proposed control scheme is fit for a distributed architecture. In a distributed architecture, most of the call control functions are distributed to many subscriber control processors(SP) and some functions as number translation and routing control are centralized to central processors(CP). Therefore the performance of the CP is critical to the switching system. We needed a control scheme that ensures the proper operation of the CP in overload condition. We conducted lots of simulation experiments to evaluate the performance of the proposed overload control scheme and concluded that the proposed overload control scheme is very effective for a distributed architecture.

  • 우리나라는 도시화 및 산업화로 도시지역의 대부분이 불투수층으로 변화하였으며, 국지성 호우의증가로 홍수 저감시설의 방어능력이 취약한 실정이다. 따라서 홍수방어 개선을 위한 여러 방안들이 이루어지고 있으며, 그 중 저류지는 도시지역에서 유역 하류의 홍수피해 저감 및 흐름을 지체시켜 유출률을 감소시키는 시설물로 홍수 저감을 위한 시설물로 가장 많이 사용되고 있다. 저류지는 큰 규모일수록 유역의 하류지역에 설치할 경우 가장 큰 유출저감효과를 가지는 것으로 알려져 있다. 하지만 저류지의 위치를 유역의 하류가 아닌 상류지역에 설치할 경우에는 단기간 강우의 시간적 분포가 강우 초기에 집중될 경우 저류지의 허용용량이 초기에 도달하게 되어 추가적인 강우가 발생할 경우 본래의 역할을 하지 못하는 경우가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 그러므로 다양한 강우강도 및 시간적 분포를 고려하여 유역의 특성 및 저류지의 설치위치에 따른 관계를 분석할 필요가 있다. 본 연구에서는 도시화, 산업화 인구집중으로 인해 동일규모의 강우에서도 우수유출이 증대되고 있는 도시지역에서 원활한 내수배제를 위해 기존의 우수관거를 연계한 저류시스템인 간선저류지 개념을 적용하여 강우강도 및 시간적 분포에 따른 간선저류지의 관련매개변수를 분석하였다. 대상유역은 세장형, 집중형, 중앙형의 3가지 형상의 가상유역으로 선정하여 다양한 지속기간의 강우량을 적용하였으며, 간선저류지의 설치위치는 전체 유역면적에 대한 저류지 상류부 면적의 비(저류지 상류부 면적비, DUAR ; Dimensionless Upstream Area Ratio)를 20%, 40%, 60%, 80%로 변화시키면서 강우의 시간적 분포에 따른 간선저류지의 매개변수 분석에 관한 연구를 진행하였다.

  • As the utilization value of personal information increases, discussions on how to provide personal information are active, but information required by institutions to utilize personal information is being exposed more than necessary. Therefore, personal privacy protection is essential to overcome the problems and limitations of personal information protection. In this study, a decentralized identity information management model that overcomes the problems and limitations of the centralized identity management method of personal information and manages and selectively provides personal information by the information owner himself and demonstrates the excellence of personal information by implementing the Smart Personal Information Provision System (SPIPS) in the PBFT consensus algorithm through experiments.

Distributed Mobility Management Scheme in LTE/SAE Networks (LTE/SAE 네트워크에서 분산 이동성 관리 기법)

  • Recently, due to a explosive growth in the mobile Internet traffic, the problem of excessive data traffic handling on core network and thus scalability problem have been magnified in 3GPP LTE/SAE networks. Current LTE/SAE network based on the central P-GW (PDN Gateway) used as mobility anchor cannot deal with such demand for exponentially increasing mobile Internet traffic. In this paper, we propose a new LTE/SAE network architecture supporting distributed P-GWs and corresponding distributed mobility management to solve these problems. For this, in addition to the deployment of such distributed P-GWs, we propose a dynamic and distributed mobility management by distributing MMEs (Mobility Management Entities) which dynamically manages the location information of a UE's PDN connection, and also propose a handover procedure of such PDN connections by using the proposed distributed P-GWs and MMEs. The performance of the proposed dynamic and distributed LTE/SAE network system is compared with the current LTE/SAE network system in terms of handover latency and network throughput.

  • Recently, developing medical devices have a tendency becoming the module for satisfying user's mutual complex needs. Because the most effective method for the observation of patients condition a diagnosis and a treatment is collecting data from various devices and controling operation following it. Module tendency is more popular due to manage easily totally many individual systems. This study implemented communication protocol to control by one control system connecting modular medical devices. Implemented system consist of one master module controlling all module and managing communication and many Slave modules. Communication between each modules introduced SPI(Serial Peripheral Interface) among many synchronous serial communication methods for the exact transmission and receipt of data. All communication executes by packet format. This can detect error. And, this protocol introduced PNP(Plug And Play) function that auto-detect connecting or removing module during running. This protocol exactly transmitted and received in faster speed more than 1Mbps. And in practical application to the ventilator this confirmed to give and take real-time data. And various functions by th central control system is implemented in this protocol.

Design and Implementation of Centralized TIS-B Server for Broadcasting Air Traffic Situation (항공 교통 상황 방송 서비스를 위한 중앙 집중형 TIS-B 서버 설계 및 구현)

  • As a radar based air surveillance hits the limit along with the growing air traffic needs, a new air surveillance technology called ADS-B has emerged. ADS-B provides more accurate position information with a shorter interval, and aircraft equipped with ADS-B transponders can check each other's location. However not all aircraft are equipped with ADS-B transponders, and aircraft with different ADS-B data links cannot check each other's location. To address these problems a TIS-B service, which broadcasts information that a radar is tracking, and an ADS-R service, which cross-broadcasts information of different ADS-B data links, have been emerged. In this paper, we design and implement a centralized TIS-B server for broadcasting air traffic situation which is capable of providing a TIS-B service and an ADS-R service at the same time. The implemented TIS-B server has been verified with a configured ADS-B ground system, by receiving ADS-B surveillance data and radar surveillance data followed by generating surveillance data for providing a TIS-B service and an ADS-R service and simulating broadcast of those generated surveillance data.
