침체된 가전 산업과 IT 산업을 일으켜 세울 가장 유력한 기술이 홈 네트워크 기술임에는 많은 공감대를 형성하고 있는 것으로 보인다. 정보통신부가 홈 네트워킹 기술을 이용하여, 기존의 가전 시장이 겪고 있는 심각한 침체 현상을 해소하고 전 국민들의 정보화 마인드 확산을 위해 지난 2000년 3월, 인터넷 정보가전 산업 협의회를 구성하였으며, 5년 동안 약 1조 천억원의 연구비를 투입하여 홈 네트워크 및 사이버 아파트 구축을 위한 기술 개발 및 표준을 제정하고 있는 것이 이를 입증하고 있는 것이다. 이와 같은 홈 네트워킹 기술중에서 IEEE 1394 기술은 오디오 비디오 기기의 디지털화가 이루어지고 멀티미디어 환경이 부상함에 따라 이들간의 공통된 새로운 인터페이스 방식의 필요에 의해 발생한 버스 방식으로 USB가 제공하지 못하는 고속의 실시간 데이터 전송을 가능하게 해주는 차세대 핵심 기술이다. 기가비트급의 높은 데이터 전송율을 자랑하는 IEEE1394 기술은 따라서 멀티미디어 PC와 오디오/비디오 등 높은 대역폭을 요구하는 가전기기를 하나로 묶어줄 수 있는 유일한 기술이며, 그 위에 TCP/IP 프로토콜을 얹어서 인터넷과도 직접 연결될수 있다. 본 고에서는 홈 네트워킹의 기본 개념을 살펴보고, 홈 네트워킹의 중심으로 판단되는 Digital TV와 주변 가전 기기 사이에서 MPEG2-TS신호의 실시간 전송을 가능하게 하는 디지털 인터페이스 기술인 IEEE1394와 그 관련 기술의 동향에 대해 소개하였다. IEEE802.11a 기술을 이용한 무선 1394 기술은 댁내 전반에 산재해 있는 이러한 가전기기를 연결시켜줄 수 있는 Home Network Backbone이 될 것으로 전망된다.

본 논문에서는 무선 홈 네트워크에 사용될 홈 내 무선 LAN(Local Area Network)용 안테나에 대해 연구하였다. 홈 내의 천장 부근에 안테나를 설치할 경우, 전파의 외부 노출을 피하고 최소한의 전력이 각 홈 별로 공급되어야하며, 각 홈 내에서의 전파를 홈 내 위치마다 균등하게 분배되어야 한다. 이를 위하여 모노폴 안테나와 다이폴 안테나 및 마이크로스트립 패치 안테나를 무선랜 주파수 2.4GHz를 중심으로 설계 제작하여 그 특성들을 고찰하였다. 그 결과 브로드사이드 방향으로 최대 또는 null 지점 발생, 좁은 빔폭 등 무선랜용 안테나로 사용하기 적합하지 않았다. 따라서, 구조적 변형 등을 통한 방사 빔의 개선 연구가 필요하다.

As various mobile technologies, sensor technologies, and remote control technologies are growing and quality of life is enhanced, researches and developments on home network are actively on going. Currently, some network service providers and construction corporations are going to provide home network service, but neither secure nor efficient, So, in this paper, we propose a security framework for providing various secure user authentication mechanisms and efficiently controlling services in home network. Namely, we are going to provide active home network security services with home gateway-based security policy, which locates on the gateway of each home.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of service quality factors and related ties on the repurchase intention of home shopping products and application home shopping through smart media using relation bonding according to the platform. In this study, it was confirmed that the relationship between home shopping and home shopping follows the process of establishing brand equity by mediating or partially mediating the influence relationship between specific service quality factor and repurchase intention. At this time, the mediating effect of the relationship tying is different according to the home shopping platform, but the relation of the TV + application group to the use of TV home shopping has no mediating effect. Also, according to users' usual media usage habits, service quality factors for home shopping have different influence relations on repurchase intention through relationship binding.

Today, the development and performance of a variety of smart phones is increasing with the number of smart phone users were. Advances in mobile networks and devices are spread smart phones. Smart home was increasing the interest. But until now, the study of user-centric services that the service was not implemented. Therefore, in this paper, the situation of the user, the user-centric service model that provides a smart home provisioning system OWL modeling is proposed.

Education will be undergoing major changes with the 4th industrial revolution. As education contents will be important in future smart home service, in-depth interviews were conducted against experts and analyzed by the grounded theory approach. Eleven categories emerged through the analysis. In order for educational content to be utilized in smart home services, value creation (central phenomenon) seems to be most critical with preceding overcome of hamlet syndrome. Diversity of content and connectivity (context) should be ensured, and studies that could enhance user experience (intermediary situations) should be conducted and reflected in the content curation and realtime response (interaction strategy). As a result, it can be inferred that the education content service can be expanded in smart home services while satisfying self-development desire of individuals through these processes. Additional selective coding revealed four immediate need area: self-development, home-improvement, health care, and mindful healing.

The concept of Smart home is receiving a huge attention as a future living environment because of its advantages for elderly and disabled to maintain their quality of life. Smart home is a place equipped with integration of technology and services and closely intertwined with occupant's lifestyle. Therefore it is critical to consider the user's actual needs for ensuring satisfaction. However despite growing researches on user values for smart home, there have been few studies clearly categorizing smart home service and stating user values depending on characteristics of service. Thus, the aim of this research is to classify smart home services on user's perspective, and reveal user values for each smart home services. Through the in-depth literature review, we elicited technology-related user values and service-related user values, and state classification for smart home service. Also the relationship between user values and each smart home services were revealed. The results of this research should help to reflect user's actual needs for designing smart home services.

Wheelchair users found difficulties in living independently in their houses due to the lack of accessibility. The state of the art smart home technology may enable wheelchair users to live independently. In this study, we built a smart home, and tested its usability with three community dwelling wheelchair users. Three evaluation methods such as scenario-based test, K-IADL(Korea instrumental activity of daily living) test, and in-depth interview were used. All three users responded positively for using the smart home. Through this study, we also found several necessary amendments in building smart homes for wheelchair users.

사용자 행위 학습에 따른 지능적 자동 제어 시스템 구축에서 먼저 고려해야 할 사항은 사용자 행위학습에 따른 지능적 자동 제어에 대한 기준을 마련하는 것이다. 홈 네트워크 내의 정보가전기기들 환경에 대한 정보를 지속적으로 수집하고 학습 알고리즘을 통하여 분석하며, 분석되어진 정보를 바탕으로 사용자의 성향을 파악하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 사용자 친화적 지능형 공간 제어 시스템을 제안하였다. 또한 사용자의 성향이 파악되면 지속적으로 홈 네트워크를 모니터링하여 사용자의 성향에 따라 항상 최적의 환경을 제공할 수 있도록 홈 네트워크 제어 시스템을 구축하였다. 사용자의 행동 패턴을 분석하고 이를 기반으로 지능적인 서비스를 제공함으로써 사용자 중심의 능동적 서비스 효과들을 얻을 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

Because of governmental regulations, large-scale discount stores are trying to find a new way that can expand a market size. Homeplus virtual store has received attention from the other companies, because virtual store can access 24 hours and be unfettered by governmental regulations. The purpose of the study is to review performance and strategies of Homeplus virtual store as well as the cause of the failure of imitators. To do this, we can find key indicators of success of virtual store.
