  • 정보통신 기술의 발달은 보안 위협의 증가라는 결과를 함께 가져왔고 국내뿐만 아니라 국외로도 보안 정책 관리에 대한 필요성이 지속적으로 강조되었다. 본 논문에서는 여러 보안 장비 중 방화벽 정책 관리를 도울 수 있는 보조 시스템을 개발하였다. 이를 위해 오픈소스 방화벽 솔루션을 가상 환경에 구축하고 방화벽 정책을 추출 및 분석하여 미 동작 정책과 중복 정책을 식별하였다. 이러한 점검 보조 도구를 정책 관리에 이용한다면 낮은 이해도로 인한 Human Error의 발생을 가능한 줄이고 그 결과, 외부 위협의 최소화를 이룰 것이라 기대한다.

A Study on Generation of Free Stereo Mosaic Image Using Video Sequences (비디오 프레임 영상을 이용한 자유 입체 모자이크 영상 제작에 관한 연구)

  • For constructing 3D information using aerial photograph or video sequences, left and right stereo images having different viewing angle should be prepared in overlapping area. In video sequences, left and right stereo images would be generated by mosaicing left and right slice images extracted in consecutive video sequences. Therefore, this paper is focused on generating left and right stereo mosaic images that are able to construct 3D information and video sequences could be made for the best use. In the stereo mosaic generation, motion parameters between video sequences should be firstly determined. In this paper, to determine motion parameters, free mosaic method using geometric relationship, such as relative orientation parameters, between consecutive frame images without GPS/INS geo-data have applied. After determining the motion parameters, the mosaic image have generated by 4 step processes: image registration, image slicing, determining on stitching line, and 3D image mosaicking. As the result of experiment, generated stereo mosaic image and analyzed result of x, y-parallax have showed.

A Transformation Technique for Constraints-preserving of XML Data (XML 데이터의 제약조건 보존을 위한 변환 기법)

  • Many techniques have been proposed to store efficiently and query XML data. One way achieving this goal is using relational database by transforming XML data into relational format. But most researches only transformed content and structure of XML schema. Although they transformed semantic constrainment of XML schema, they did not all of semantics. In this paper, we propose a systematic technique for extracting semantic constrainment from XML schema and storing method when the extracting result is transformed into relational schema without any lost of semantic constrainment. The transforming algorithm is used for extracting and storing semantic constrainment from XML schema and it shows how extracted information is stored according to schema notation. Also it provides semantic knowledges that are needed to be confirmed during the transformation to ensure a correct relation schema. The technique can reduce storage redundancy and can keep up content and structure with integrity constraints.

Morphological Shape Decomposition using Multiscan Mode (다중스캔 모드를 이용한 형태론적인 형상분해)

  • In this study, a shape decomposition method using morphological operations is studied for decomposing the complex shape in 2-D image into its simple primitive elements. The serious drawback of conventional shape representation algorithm is that primitive elements are extracted too much to represent and to describe the shape. To solve these problems, a new shape decomposition algorithm using primitive elements that are similar to the geometrical characteristics of shape and 4 scan modes is proposed in this study. The multiple primitive elements as circle, square, and rhombus are extracted by using multiscan modes in a new algorithm. This algorithm have the characteristics that description error and number of primitive elements is reduced. Then, description efficiency is improved. The procedures is also simple and the processing time is reduced.

URL Signatures for Improving URL Normalization (URL 정규화 향상을 위한 URL 서명)

  • In the standard URL normalization mechanism, URLs are normalized syntactically by a set of predefined steps. In this paper, we propose to complement the standard URL normalization by incorporating the semantically meaningful metadata of the web pages. The metadata taken into consideration are the body texts and the page size of the web pages, which can be extracted during HTML parsing. The results from our first exploratory experiment indicate that the body texts are effective in identifying equivalent URLs. Hence, given a URL which has undergone the standard normalization, we construct its URL signature by hashing the body text of the associated web page using Message-Digest algorithm 5 in the second experiment. URLs which share identical signatures are considered to be equivalent in our scheme. The results in the second experiment show that our proposed URL signatures were able to further reduce redundant URLs by 32.94% in comparison with the standard URL normalization.

Noise filtering for Depth Images using Shape Smoothing and Z-buffer Rendering (형상 스무딩과 Z-buffer 렌더링을 이용한 깊이 영상의 노이즈 필터링)

  • 본 논문에서는 동적 객체의 3 차원 정보를 표현하는 깊이 영상의 노이즈 필터링 방법을 제안한다. 실제 객체의 동적인 3 차원 정보는 적외선 깊이 센서가 장착된 깊이 비디오 카메라를 이용하여 실시간으로 획득되며, 일련의 깊이 영상, 즉 깊이 비디오(depth video)로 표현될 수 있다. 하지만 측정환경의 조명조건, 객체의 반사속성, 카메라의 시스템 오차 등으로 인해 깊이 영상에는 고주파 성분의 노이즈가 발생하게 된다. 이를 효과적으로 제거하기 위해 깊이 영상기반의 모델링 기법(depth image-based modeling)을 이용한 3 차원 메쉬 모델링을 수행한다. 생성된 3 차원 메쉬 모델은 깊이 영상의 노이즈로 인해 경계 영역과 형상 내부 영역에 심각한 형상 오차를 가진다. 경계 영역의 오차를 제거하기 위해 깊이 영상으로부터 경계 영역을 추출하고, 가까운 순서로 정렬한 후 angular deviation 을 이용하여 불필요하게 중복된 점들을 제거한다. 그리고 나서 2 차원 가우시안 스무딩 기법을 적용하여 부드러운 경계영역을 생성한다. 형상 내부에 대해서는 경계영역에 제약조건을 주고 3 차원 가우시안 스무딩 기법을 적용하여 전체적으로 부드러운 형상을 생성한다. 최종적으로 스무딩된 3 차원 메쉬모델을 렌더링할 때, 깊이 버퍼에 있는 정규화된 깊이 값들을 추출하여 원래 깊이 영상과 동일한 깊이 영역을 가지도록 저장함으로서 전역적으로 연속적이면서 부드러운 깊이 영상을 생성할 수 있다. 제안된 방법에 의해 노이즈가 제거된 깊이 영상을 이용하여 고품질의 영상기반 렌더링이나 깊이 비디오 기반의 햅틱 렌더링에 적용할 수 있다.

  • 본 논문은 신문기사에서 중요한 문장을 추출(Extract)하는데 있어서, 기존에 기장 우수한 방법인 전문기반 방법(Lead-based method)과 제목을 이용한 유사도 측정방법(Title-based method)의 문제점을 해결하기 위해서, 육하원칙 활성화도를 이용하여 신문기사를 효과적으로 요약할 수 있는 방법과 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 본 연구에서는 먼저, 제목(Title)과 전문(Lead)에서 중복출현하지 않는 육하원칙 구성성분을 결합하고, 본문은 각 문장에서 육하원칙 구성성분의 재사용성과 육하원칙 구성성분의 범주 증감을 파악하여 육하원칙 활성화도를 구하고, 전문기반 방법을 응용하여 각 문장의 상대적인 중요도에 따라 최종적인 가중치를 부여함으로써, 신문기사에서 중요한 문장을 효과적으로 추출할 수 있는 가중치 계산식을 제안하였다. 실험문서는 조선일보 웹사이트에서 제공하는 신문기사 100건을 대상으로 하였으며, 요약율이 30%일 경우 제안한 방법의 정확률은 74.7%로 기존의 전문기반(Lead-based method)방법보다 6.7% 향상되었다.

Gait-Based Gender Classification Using a Correlation-Based Feature Selection Technique

  • Gender classification techniques have received a lot of attention from researchers because they can be used in various fields such as forensics, surveillance systems, and demographic studies. As previous studies have shown that there are distinctive features between male and female gait, various techniques have been proposed to classify gender from three dimensional(3-D) gait data. However, some of the gait features extracted from 3-D gait data using existing techniques are similar or redundant to each other or do not help in gender classification. In this study, we propose a method to select features that are useful for gender classification using a correlation-based feature selection technique. To demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed feature selection technique, we compare the performance of gender classification models before and after applying the proposed feature selection technique using a 3-D gait dataset available on the Internet. Eight machine learning algorithms applicable to binary classification problems were utilized in the experiments. The experimental results show that the proposed feature selection technique can reduce the number of features by 22, from 82 to 60, while maintaining the gender classification performance.

VOC Summarization and Classification based on Sentence Understanding (구문 의미 이해 기반의 VOC 요약 및 분류)

  • To attain an understanding of customers' opinions or demands regarding a companies' products or service, it is important to consider VOC (Voice of Customer) data; however, it is difficult to understand contexts from VOC because segmented and duplicate sentences and a variety of dialog contexts. In this article, POS (part of speech) and morphemes were selected as language resources due to their semantic importance regarding documents, and based on these, we defined an LSP (Lexico-Semantic-Pattern) to understand the structure and semantics of the sentences and extracted summary by key sentences; furthermore the LSP was introduced to connect the segmented sentences and remove any contextual repetition. We also defined the LSP by categories and classified the documents based on those categories that comprise the main sentences matched by LSP. In the experiment, we classified the VOC-data documents for the creation of a summarization before comparing the result with the previous methodologies.
