  • ASPEN(Advanced System Process ENgineering) 코드를 이용하여 오리멀젼(orimulsion)을 이용한 가스화기의 성능을 예측하고, 발전 연료로서의 적합성 등을 살펴보았다. 오리멀젼은 역청(bitumen)에 물을 섞은 연료로 중유와 석탄의 중간 정도의 성질을 가지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 오리멀젼 가스화기의 운전 특성을 파악하고 주입되는 산화제 양을 변화시켜 산화제의 가스화기 운전온도에 미치는 영향과 생성되는 주요 합성가스 성분에 미치는 영향 등을 예측하고 새로운 연료로서의 타당성 여부를 검토하였다.

  • USIM 기반 자바카드가 요즘 많은 응용분야에서 활용되고 있다. 이에 자바카드에 대한 관심과 연구가 활발히 진행되는 가운데 본 논문에서는 자바카드 플랫폼에서 수행되는 애플릿 개발 과정 중 중간 코드인 CAP 파일의 구조에 대해 중점적으로 다루며 CAP 파일을 구성하고 있는 컴포넌트를 개별적으로 분석해주는 CAP 파일 분석기를 설계하고 구현했다. CAP 파일을 구체적으로 분석함으로서 CAP 파일에 대한 전반적인 이해를 돕는다.

  • OSEK/VDX OS 는 자동차 전자 제어 장치(ECU)를 위하여 OSEK/VDX 에서 제안한 사양을 준수하는 실시간 운영체제이다. 시스템 생성기는 OIL 언어로 작성된 파일을 C 언어의 중간 코드 파일로 변환하기 위한 도구로써 OSEK/VDX OS 개발에 필요한 요소이다. 본 연구에서는 OSEK/VDX OS 개발에 필요한 시스템 생성기를 보다 쉽게 구현할 수 있는 기법을 제시하였다.

  • Recently, PC-based control is incredibly developed in the industrial control field, but it is difficult for PLC programming in PC. Therefore, I need to develop the softeware PLC, which support the international PLC programming standard(IECl131-3) and can be applied to diverse control system by using C language. In this paper, I have developed the ISPLC(Intelligent Agent System based Software Programmable Logic Controller). In ISPLC system, LD programmed by a user which is used over $90\%$ among the 5 PLC languages, is converted to IL, which is one of intermediate codes, and IL is converted to the standard C rode which can be used in a commercial editor such as Visual C++. In ISPLC, the detection of logical error in high level programming(C) is more eaier than PLC programming itself The study of code conversion of LD->IL->C is firstly tried in the world as well as KOREA. I developed an execution engine with a good practical application. To show the effectiveness of the developed system, 1 applied it to a practical case, a real time traffic control(RT-TC) system. ISPLC is minimized the error debugging and programming time owing to be supported by windows application program.

A Study on TBT Estimation between Korea and China based on Price Wedge Approach (가격차 모형에 기초한 한국과 중국간 기술무역장벽(TBT) 추정에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to estimation of Technical Barriers of Trade(TBT) between Korea and China. TBT is one of the key issues in which both governments are interested since the Korea-China FTA negotiations had launched in 2012. In this paper, we aggregate nine country HS codes from World Bank and AIO codes from JETRO. Our estimation model based on modified price wedge approach differentiate previous researches in the sense that it covers all manufacture industries and uses nine country data set. Estimation results confirm the importance of TBT showing that TBT high ranking items significantly overlap high ranking export items. We also find that the size of Chinese TBT are much larger than that of Korean TBT, implying that Korean government needs smart and well prepared strategy for key items in TBT/FTA negotiation with Chinese government.

  • This paper presents the EVM(Embedded Virtual Machine) which enables the execution of dynamic applications loaded in the embedded systems such as Mobile Devices(mobile phone, PDA), Set-Top Box, and Digital TV using downloading techniques. To accomplish this goal, we defined a SIL-(Standard Intermediate Language) code, and implemented a Bytecode-to-SIL translator which enables the execution of programs written in java language in the EVM platform without JVM, and a MSIL--to-SIL- translator which enables for programs written in .NET language to be executed in the EVM platform without .NET platform. Also, we developed a EFF(Executable File Format) builder as an assembler which translates SIL codes into an executable file, *.evm, and implemented the EVM which reads the *.evm file and executes it. The virtual machine for embedded systems developed in this paper is the software technologies that enable the execution of applications or contents without changes to when the platforms change. In fact, the virtual machine suggested here is not only usable as a standard model for existing virtual machines but also aid in more efficient execution of applications loaded in the embedded systems such as Mobile Devices, Digital TV, and Set-Top Box.

  • This paper proposes a variable block size vector quantization based on a biorthogonal wavelet transform for image compression. An image is first decomposed with the biorthogonal wavelet transform into multiresolution image and the wavelet coefficients of the middle frequency bands are segmented using the quadtree sturcture to extract the perceptually important regions in the middle frequency bands. A sedges of middle frequency bands exist the corresponding position of high frequency bands, the complicated quadtree structure of middle frequency bands is equally applied to the high frequency bands. Therefore the overhaed information of the quadtree codes needed to segment the high frequency bands can be reduced. The segmented subblocks are encoded with the codebook designed at the each scales and directions. The simulation results showed that the proposed methods could reproduce higher quality image with bit rate reduced about 20(%) than of the preceding VQ method and sufficiently reduce the bolck effect and the edge degradation.

Implementation of Loop Peeling in CTOC (CTOC에서 루프 벗기기 구현)

  • The CTOC framework was implemented to efficiently perform analysis and optimization of the Java bytecode that is often being used lately. In order to analyze and optimize the bytecode from the CTOC, the eCFG was first generated. Due to the bytecode characteristics of difficult analysis, the existing bytecode was expanded to be suitable for control flow analysis. and the control flow graph was drawn. We called eCFG(extended Control Flow Graph). Furthermore, the eCFG was converted into the SSA Form for a static analysis. Many loops were found in the conversion program. The previous CTOC performed conversion directly into the SSA Form without processing the loops. However, processing the loops prior to the SSA Form conversion allows more efficient generation of the SSA Form. This paper examines the process of finding the loops prior to converting the eCFG into the SSA Form In order to efficiently process the loops, and exhibits the procedures for generating the loop tree.

Compiling Haskell to Java via an Intermediate Code L (중간언어 L-코드를 이용한 Haskell-Java 언어 번역기 구현)

  • We propose a systematic method of compiling Haskell based on the spineless Tagless G-machine (STGM) for the Java, Virtual Machine (JVM) We introduce an intermediate language called L-code to identify each micro-operation of the machine by its instruction, Each macro operation of the machine is identified by a binding Each instruction of the L-code can be easily translated into Java statements. After our determination on representation and L-code program from a STG program is translated into Java program according to out compilation rules. Our experiment shows that the execution times of translated benchmarks are competitive compared with those in Haskell interpreter Hugs, particularly when Glasgow Haskell compiler's STG -level optimizations are applied.

  • 우리나라 주민등록증은 주소지, 주민등록 번호, 지문 등 개개인의 방대한 정보를 가진다. 그런데 현재의 플라스틱 주민등록증은 위?변조가 쉬워 사회적으로 많은 문제를 일으키고 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위하여 주민등록증을 전산화 하여 주민등록증 위조여부를 판단하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 주민등록증 영상을 자동 인식할 수 있는 개선된 ART2기반 RBF 네트워크를 이용한 주민등록증 자동 인식 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 주민등록증 영상에서 위치 정보와 수직 및 수평 히스토그램 방법을 이용하여 주민등록번호와 발행일 영역을 추출한다. 그리고 추출된 주민등록번호와 발행일 영역에서 4 방향 윤곽선 추적 알고리즘으로 개별 문자를 추출한다. 추출된 개별 코드는 개선된 ART2 기반 RBF 네트워크를 제안하여 인식에 적용한다. 제안된 ART2 기반 RBF 네트워크는 ART2알고리즘을 중간층으로 적용하고 중간층과 출력층 간의 학습은 일반화된 델타 학습에 모멘텀을 적용하여 학습 성능을 개선한다. 실제 주민등록증 영상을 이용하여 실험한 결과, 제안된 ART2기반 RBF 네트워크가 주민등록증 인식에 효율적인 것을 확인하였다.
