문서에서 저자의 의도와 주제, 그 안에 포함된 감성을 분석하는 것은 자연어 연구의 핵심적인 주제이다. 이와 유사하게 특정 글에 포함된 정치적 문화적 편향을 분석하는 것 역시 매우 의미 있는 연구주제이다. 우리는 최근 발생한 한 사건에 대하여 여러 신문사와 해당 신문사에서 생산한 기사를 중심으로 해당 글의 정치적 편향을 정량화 하는 방법을 제시한다. 그 방법은 선택된 주제어들의 문장 공간에서의 거리를 중심으로 그래프를 생성하고, 생성된 그래프의 기계학습을 통하여 편향과 특징을 분석하였다. 그리고 그 그래프들의 시간적 변화를 추적하여 특정 신문사에서 특정 사건에 대한 입장이 시간적으로 어떻게 변화하였는지를 동적으로 보여주는 그래프 애니메이션 시스템을 개발하였다. 실험을 위하여 최근 이슈에 대하여 12개의 신문사에서 약 2000여 개의 기사를 수집하였다. 그 결과, 약 82%의 정확도로 일반적으로 알려진 정치적 편향을 예측할 수 있었다. 또한, 학습 데이터에 쓰이지 않은 신문기사를 활용하여도 같은 정도의 정확도를 보임을 알 수 있었다. 우리는 이를 통하여 신문기사에서의 정치적 편향은 작성자나 신문사의 특성이 아니라 주제어들의 문장 공간에서의 거리 관계로 특성화할 수 있음을 보였다. 할 수 있다.

Pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) has been regarded as an indication of science teachers' professionalism. The purpose of this study was to analyze topic-specific PCK of pre-service and in-service science teachers, comparatively. For this purpose, we developed an analytic framework for explicitly documenting science teacher' PCK and applied the framework for analyzing the difference within the same topic and with two different topics. Findings are as follows: (1) With the same topic, there was considerable difference between pre-service and in-service teachers in the components of PCK, not to mention individual difference. (2) In case of two different topics, we did not recognize a tendency of change in PCK, but remarkable differences in PCK were identified between two different topics. This study affirmed the topic specificity of PCK, and discussed a possibility of employing PCK analytic framework and its profile as one of the tools that could be used to develop and assess teachers' professionalism.

This study presents the research trends of Records and Archives Management in Korea by analyzing the articles of the Records and Archives Management in Korea according to subjects, issue periods, journals and researchers. For the study, 374 articles from 3 academic journals published between 1999 and 2009 were analyzed. As a result, several research trends in this field were discovered. The summary of the study is as follows: Firstly, it has been proven that the productivity of the articles of Records and Archives Management in Korea increases as time goes by. Secondly, there are differences in the subject fields among journals in Records and Archives Management. Thirdly, there are differences in the subject fields among researchers' institutions. Fourthly, there are no differences in the subject fields among researchers' specialized areas.

자동색인 시스템의 색인이 선정 능력을 향상시키기 위한 특정어파일 구축을 제안한다. 특정어파일을 도입함으로써 색인어 선정시 좀더 포괄적인(또는 세부적인) 주제어선정을 돕고 또한 전조합색인의 문제점으로 야기되기 쉬운 검색누수현상을 막을 수 있다. 특정어파일은 시소러스 기반 자동시스템의 성능을 강화하거나 시소러스파일의 대용으로 이용할 수 있을 것이다.

The previous study showed a large variation in performance within the queries and suggested that characteristics of queries cotribute to retrieval performance. Three attributes, specificity, complexity and recency were used to analyze the different results within queries. The result showed that subject searching retrieve more relevant documents for a Query with low specificity than a query with high specificity and that queries from the doctoral students' dissertations were specific queries with high specificity.

본 논문에서는 1940년대 할리우드 영화 <우리 생애 최고의 해>의 '귀향 장면'의 주제를 연구하였다. 그 장면 속에 제시되는 몇 개의 주제의 음악적 성격과 그 주제가 반복되고 변형되는 스타일을 분석함으로써 작곡가가 영화의 장면에 대응하는 방법을 밝히고자 하였다. 여기서 작곡가 프리드호퍼는 주제의 반복과 변형, 특정 음정과 분산화음의 빈번한 사용, 조성구조에서의 해결 지연과 화음의 연장이라는 방법을 주인공들의 심리 묘사에 사용한다.

본 논문에서는 1940년대 헐리웃 영화 <로라>의 특정 시퀀스를 분석함으로써 영화의 극적 요구를 음악적 어휘로 전환시키는 데 있어 작곡가들이 어떤 방식으로 작곡 기법을 적용하는가를 고찰하였다. 한개의 시퀀스를 장면 별로 나누어 고찰한 결과, 일관된 주제의 성격과 그 주제가 내포한 음악적 동기의 반복과 변형, 주제의 중단과 생략, 시종일관 모호한 조성적 구조 등의 음악적 기법이 도출된다.

As topics of researchers become diverse horizontally or vertically, academic libraries have difficulties to identify the dynamic change of researchers' needs for academic publications. This research aims to illustrate the topic areas of researchers in a department of university by analyzing bibliographies of their publications. First, researchers' publications were used to discover the topic areas where the researchers had published. Second, the cited publications in those papers were analysed to identify the expanded topic areas of these researchers. Finally, highly cited journals were analyzed by network analysis method. The major finding is that the importance of topic areas by the number of journals was not necessarily proportional to that by the number of papers. Researchers have a tendency to use many papers in a small number of journals in a certain topic area. Furthermore, the importance of topic areas discovered by researchers' publications was not the same as that discovered by researchers' citations.

본 논문에서는 음악 수사법에 기초한 악곡의 주제선율 추출법을 제시한다. 이는 음향학적 신호처리 기술을 이용하는 기존의 수리적인 방법과는 구별된다. 본 방법을 이용한다면 주어진 곡에서 두 마디 정도의 주제선율을 추출해 낼 수 있어, 원하는 곡을 짧은 시간 안에 선별하거나 특정 곡의 전체적인 분위기를 미리 추측해 보는 것이 가능할 것이다.

최근 화두가 되고 있는 스마트 폰 앱의 관심으로 스마트 TV의 앱에 대한 관심도 함께 증가하고 있다. TV시청 이용자들의 편의를 위해 증가하고 있는 수많은 채널과 콘텐츠 중, 개인 사용자의 이용 습관 및 대중의 선호 프로그램을 고려하여, 편리하게 원하는 TV프로그램에 접근하도록 해 주는 TV 앱이 있다면 이는 매우 중요한 기능으로 자리 잡을 가능성이 높을 것으로 예상된다. 이에 본 논문은 사용자의 시청 이용행태를 기반으로 주제모델링 기술의 고전적 모델인 LDA을 기반으로 협업필터링을 결합한 TV 선호 프로그램 추천 알고리듬을 제안한다. 개인의 관심 선호도는 일반적으로 특정 개수로 한정지어지는 특성을 고려하여, 개인 선호도 특성이 구별 되도록 두 가지 방법을 적용하였다. 하나는 개인 선호도 프로파일의 특정 상위 주제만을 고려하는 것이고, 또 다른 하나는 개인별 주제에 대한 선호도의 다양성이 드러나도록 비대칭 하이퍼-파라미터를 갖는 LDA를 사용 하였다. 실험 결과, 두 가지 방식에 대해 사용자의 실제 TV시청 이용내역 데이터를 기반으로 추천 성능의 향상을 평균 Precision 값을 측정하여 확인하였다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 주제 모델링을 통해 학습된 각 주제의 상위 확률의 TV 프로그램들을 분석한 결과, 하나의 주제가 개인별 시청의 특성 보다는 가족단위의 시청 특성을 드러냄을 확인할 수 있었다.
