Multiful logistic regression was used to analyze the relationship of dementia according to MMSE score and remaining teeth, and 95% confidence intervals were computed. Odds ratio(OR) of the number of remaining teeth 0-10 was 3.43 (95% confidence interval: 1.382-8.997). This study showed significant difference and the relationship between dementia according to MMSE score and the number of remaining teeth of the elderly women.

  • This study was to investigate whether there are differences in subjective bad breath-related characteristics and psychological characteristics of sports masks printed with natural minerals compared with quarantine masks and cotton masks. The study subjects were divided into 30 people in the Sports Mask Group, 30 people in the KF Mask Group (KMG), and 30 people in the cotton mask group (CMG), and a total of 90 subjects participated in the study. It was randomly sent to use 1 mask per day and 3 masks for 3 days. The study period was conducted from October 15, 2020 to October 30, 2020. As a result of the study, there was no difference in the use of masks between the three groups in terms of bad breath health and dry mouth. However, the sports mask was superior to other masks in oral respiration and bad breath angle. As a result of analyzing psychological factors, there was no difference between the 3 groups for depression. However, in the stress factor, sports masks were superior to other masks in stress. The results of this study are valuable as suggesting the direction of use of functional masks, and we hope that they will be used as basic data for functional mask research to be studied in the future.

Ultimately, we sought to make a positive contribution to the promotion of periodontal health and the prevention of periodontal disease. Methods : This study was analyzed using the data of KNHANES 2013-2015. The participants of this study were between 20 and 64 years old. The final selection was 1,512 adults. Results : Participants with a sleeping time of less than 6 hours and those who recognized stress showed higher periodontal disease. Number of decaying teeth, oral-health status, toothaches, and chewing problems were associated significantly with periodontal disease. To investigate the effects of general characteristics and mental and oral-health status on periodontal disease, a logistic regression analysis was conducted. Sex, age, education level, smoking status, oral-health status, and chewing problems were variables that affected periodontal disease. Conclusions : This study showed that mental-and oral-health status is closely related to periodontal disease. Therefore, it is expected that this will be used as basic data to effectively improve periodontal disease in adults.

However, sudden and unexplained tooth pain (12.0%), gum swelling and tooth mobility (10.2%), and wisdom tooth pain (4.9%) were relatively low. The average monthly income (p<.05) and subjective oral health status (p<.01) were statistically significant factors interrupting workflow.
