The purpose of this study is to present basic data that can assist on projecting the plans of use of balcony space, by identifying the problems derived from balcony remodelling for the sole purpose of securing practical space, and to further research on the role of balcony space in an apartment. The results of this study revealed a high demand on balcony space, thus the key area of research would be on developing various methods of utilizing such balcony space differing among the different types of available residential space, rather than a standardized extension of balcony space.

사람들은 대부분의 시간을 집이나 직장에서 보내게 된다. 그러므로 집과 사무실은 삶에 있어서 가장 중요한 두 개의 공간인 것이다. 인간공학적으로 디자인된 사무실은 그곳에서 일하는 사람들의 신체적, 사회적 요구에 부합하게되어 작업능률과 만족감을 향상시키며, 스트레스를 조절하고, 건강과 안전을 위협하는 요소를 최소화한다. 특히 많은 책임과 권한을 가진 사장들에게 있어서 인간공학적으로 디자인된 환경은 필수적인 요건이 될 것이다. 본 연구는 사례조사법을 이용하여 미국 Lowa주 주도인 Des Moines에 사무실을 갖고있는 10개 보험회사 사장들을 대상으로 설문지와 관찰조사 및 실내공간 스케치를 이용하였다. 대부분의 사무실은 직접적으로 일과 관련된 디자인 부분만 강조되어 있었으며 그들의 많은 시간이 읽기와 쓰기등 시각적인 일에 쓰여지고 있음에도 불구하고 조명, 특히 국부조명은 거의 고려되어 있지 않았다. 상담이나 접견과 같은 활동을 위한 가구의 선택이나 실내공간계획이 제대로 되어 있지 않았다. 사용후 평가를 실시한 결과 대부분의 대상자들은 심리적, 생물학적 요구사항들에 대해 긍정적인 평가를 하였다. 디자이너는 좀더 사용자 위주의 공간계획을 해 나가야 할 것이며 각각 다른 사무실특성, 기능, 인간관계. 특히 종업원과의 관계, 사업종류 등을 명확히 이해해야 할 것이다.

With the introduction of the ubiquitous technology, the housing culture centers of construction companies have demonstrated future housing image and technology. However, ubiquitous home services are technology oriented items. The purpose of this study was to identify u- services which were realized in domestic future housing and to compare those with services the residents needed greatly refer to researches related to demand for u-service. For this study, field studies were conducted with 3 domestic future housings and precedent studies on demand for u-service were analyzed according to the standard of residents' demand. The results of the study showed that residents prefer u-services for security and control of indoor environment for housework and leisure life. As a result, u-services which residents needed mainly did not correspond with those that were displayed in future housing.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the present use and the needs for community facilities in apartment housing complex. Eight apartment housing complexes containing more than 500 units which constructed after 2000 were selected for this study. Three hundred and fifty three residents of apartment housing were surveyed to identify their needs and use of community facilities. The main findings of this study are as following; The most frequently used community facilities in apartment housing were outdoor rest area, exercise facilities, and park and playground. Also, the highly required community facilities were outdoor rest area, exercise facilities, and park and playground. Especially, most of the respondents showed the high level of need for the exercise facilities such as swimming pool, fitness center, and sauna.

The program of public facilities are essential of resident life, and these programs affect quality of life and community activation. The purpose of this study is to analyze the present condition of the program of public facilities and residents' need of program in Yanglim-Dong, Gwangju. In this study, Field survey and questionnaire survey are used for data collection. The results of this study are showed as follows: First, most of the public facilities' programs are composed of educational and welfare program and program for teenager, young people and middle-age. Second, most of the residents prefer to program for culture and sport. Third, most of the residents want to join in one or two every weeks and the time zone of p.m..

The purpose of this study was to suggest the idea for IAQ improvement of the of officetel which is used by fully or partly residential space. The data was collected from 110 residents by questionnaire survey and an experienced architect by personal interview. The results showed that the IAQ improvement of the officetel with residential usage and residence was urgent. The educational program about maintenance of IAQ for residents was essentially needed. To recommend eco-friendly materials in process of construction was important so as to take precaution against 'sick building syndrome'. It was also necessary to improve on the size, shape, and location of ventilation window.

The purpose of this research is to prepare fundamental data which will help the proposal for future a small size housing's plan and direction by looking into customers needs of community space and service for personal household because the personal household demand of the housing market is expected to be the most importance. To accomplish this, 150 people of age range from 20 to 30 who lives alone in Seoul has been surveyed from November 15th to 25th 20008. Also the socio-demographic characteristic, satisfaction of housing life, living characteristic and etc. of young people have been examined.

Recently, determinants in the construction market are not suppliers' choices but customers' various needs. One of the main interests about the space design is the flexibility. Though those are the choices of users to modify space structure, the potential degree of flexibility is predetermined by the providers. In suppliers' view, it is consuming in financial and technical aspects to cater the apartments qualifying maximum flexibility. To modify these differences, the reasonable range of applicable customers's requirement about flexibility in apartment should be determined. Then, the types of flexibility in apartments should be classified. The purpose of this Study are classified the flexibility of support in apartment by the analyzing the remodeling requirement of apartment residents, and provided prerequisites to create flexible spaces by case application.

Third, age according to program preference and in terms of educational relation program and cultural relation demand difference approaches. Fourth, most of the residents want to join one or two programs every weeks and prefer to participate during the afternoon and evening.

본 연구에서는 고등학생이 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육으로 어떠한 내용을 요구하는지 알아보았다. 이를 통하여 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육의 새로운 교육 방향을 모색하고, 그에 합당한 교육내용을 구성 하는데 에 필요한 기초 자료를 제공 할 수 있을 것이다. 연구대상은 서울 및 경기도 소재 고등학교 2학년생 550명으로 하였으며, 설문조사를 실시하였다. 고등학생의 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육 요구도를 알아본 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 성별에 따른 고등학생들의 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육 요구도는 남학생이 3.63, 여학생이 3.66으로 나타났으며, 남학생은 '결혼과 부모됨', '가족간의 대화방법' '영양관리', '가정경제', '의복 주거관리', '가정문화' 영역의 순으로 여학생은 '결혼과 부모됨', '가족간의 대화방법', '영양관리', '가정문화', '의복 주거관리' 영역의 순으로 요구도가 높게 났다. 전체적인 요구도는 3.64로 중간 이상의 요구도를 보였으며 '결혼과 부모됨', '가족간의 대화방법', '영양관리', '가정경제', '의복 주거관리', '가정문화' 영역의 순으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 가족배경 변인에 따른 고둥학생의 가정과 교과에서 건강가정에 관한 교육 요구도는 학교계열, 가족형태, 부모의 학력, 부모의 직업, 가계월소득에 따라 유의미한 차이가 나타났다.
