Organizational Ambidexterity and Long-term Performance: The Moderating Effect of Relative Exploration and Exploitation (조직 양면성과 장기 성과: 상대적 탐색 및 활용의 조절효과)

  • There has been a stream of literature studying moderators of the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and firm performance, but there remains a lack of research on moderators with a strategic perspective. We examined the effect of organizational ambidexterity on a firm's long-term performance and the moderating effect of a firm's relative exploration and exploitation based on a sample of 8,916 firms. We found a positive relationship between organizational ambidexterity and long-term performance measured by Tobin's q. The results also suggest that a firm's relative exploration positively moderates the relationship between organizational ambidexterity and long-term performance, whereas exploitation negatively moderates this relationship. We contribute to the current ambidexterity literature by integrating it with strategy literature. We found that the positive relationship between organizational ambidexterity and long-term performance is enlarged and long-lasting when a firm is a differentiator. In contrast, this positive relationship is lessened and short-lasting when a firm is a cost-leader.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of self-regulation and self-efficacy on relations between volunteering and happiness & meaning of life in the middle aged and the elderly. A total of 588 participants were asked to complete a questionnaire of volunteering, happiness, meaning of life, self-regulation, and self-efficacy. The results indicated that those participants who scored high on volunteering were also high in terms of happiness, meaning of life, self-regulation, and self-efficacy. Further, self-regulation and self-efficacy exercised mediating effects on the positive relations between volunteering and happiness & meaning of life. Finally, these finding were discussed in relation to their implications for happiness and meaning of life in the middle aged and the elderly and also limitations of the present study were suggested for future research.

  • 수경재배에서 요구되는 최적의 배양액 pH는 5.5-6.5 이고, pH를 최적의 상태로 조절해 주는 방법으로 비료의 흡수생리를 이용하는 방법과 화학적인 산알칼리 용액을 이용하여 조절해 주는 방법이 있다. 이러한 pH 조절은 자동적으로 행해야 효과가 크며 본 실험은 흡수생리적인 면에서 산 혹은 알칼리 비료를 화학적인 산 알칼리와 비교하여 pH 조절효과의 차이를 보고자 하며 생육제어시스템 중 pH의 자동계측 및 제어를 통해서 계속적인 pH의 안정적인 수준을 유지하면서 상품성과 품질이 우수한 작물을 생산하고자 이 실험을 수행하였다.   • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of educational environment on job on the educational satisfaction and recommendation toward the educational service among the students who are major in cooking and confectionery bakery in Busan area. In addition, current student conducted to perform the moderating effect of part-time condition. In order to achieve the purpose of current study total 299 students of 2-year college students were employed and it was educational statistically analysed using SPSS 20.0 program. Three-step hierarchical regression analysis was employed to check whether the major part-time job experience had a moderating impact or not. The results showed that there was a positive correlation between the educational environment and educational satisfaction, and the adjustment effect was partially adopted in the educational environment. Eurthermore, the part-time condition has positive influence on the relationship between environmental element and educational1 satisfaction, so the moderating effect was verified. These results will be contributed to provide marketing strategy to improve the educational environment service for students as well as related foodservice industry.

Influence of Satisfaction of University and Family Cohesion on Perceived Entrapment: Moderating Effects of Resilience and Hope (대학만족도와 가족응집력이 지각된 속박감에 미치는 영향: 회복탄력성과 희망의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the moderating effect of resilience and hope among satisfaction of university, family cohesion, and perceived entrapment. It was conducted to measure research variables from 610 university students. The moderating effect according to resilience and hope was analyzed through hierarchical regression analysis and presented in graphs of significant moderating effect. As a result of analysis, first, there were significant relationship, among satisfaction of university, family cohesion, and perceived entrapment. Second, satisfaction of university and family cohesion had a significant negative effect on the perceived entrapment. Third, resilience had moderating effect within the relationship of university satisfaction and perceived entrapment. Forth, hope had moderating effect within the relationship of family cohesion and perceived entrapment. Implications of these results were explored in relation to the importance of resilience and hope that could be taken to reduce perceived entrapment.

Moderating Effect of Playfulness and Fun Leadership on the Relationship between Job Stress and Burnout among Hospital Employees (병원 근로자의 직무스트레스와 소진의 관계에 미치는 펀 리더십과 근로자 놀이성의 조절 효과)

  • 본 연구는 병원 근로자들의 직무스트레스와 소진의 관계에 미치는 펀 리더십과 근로자 놀이성의 조절효과를 규명함으로써 향후 병원조직의 효과적인 인적자원관리에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 연구자료는 부산지역 2개 병원에 근무하는 근로자(의사 제외)를 대상으로 구조화된 자기기입식 설문지를 통하여 수집하였으며 총 230부의 설문지를 배부하여 이 중 207부의 설문을 회수하였다. 설문 문항에는 응답자의 일반적 특성, 직무스트레스 특성, 펀 리더십, 근로자 놀이성, 소진 등을 측정하는 항목들이 포함되었다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS WIN 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 신뢰도분석, 상관관계분석과 조절회귀분석 등을 수행하였다. 주요 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 직무스트레스와 소진의 관계에서 펀 리더십은 직접 효과는 물론 조절효과도 유의하게 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 직무스트레스와 소진의 관계에서 근로자 놀이성은 소진에 직접적인 효과를 주는 변수임과 동시에, 낮은 유의수준(p=0.053)에서지만 직무스트레스와의 상호작용을 통해 소진을 감소시키는 조절효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 병원 근로자의 업무 수행과 관련해 비교적 관심을 받지 못했던 펀 리더십이나 근로자 놀이성 등과 같은 성격적 특성이 소진을 감소시키는 유효한 조절변수가 될 수 있음을 검증해 보았다는 점에 그 의의가 있으며, 다만 후속 연구를 통해 추가적인 검증이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.

A study on the Relationship among Depression, Walking and Quality of Life for the Elderly -Focusing on the Moderation Effects of Walking- (노인의 우울, 걷기, 삶의 질의 관계에 대한 연구 -걷기의 조절효과 중심으로-)

  • This study examined how walking moderates the influence of depression on quality of life in elderly. Data of the study were analysed using the sixth Korean National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES V-2, 2014). The subjects were elderly aged 65 years or more and the number of the sample was 1,263. Using hierarchial regression analysis, walking as a moderator of the depression and quality of life relationship was examined. Quality of life for elderly showed significant differences according to sex(t=8.26, p<.001), age(t=5.19, p<.001), number of chronic disease(F=37.88, p<.001), depression(t=9.62, p<.001) and walking per week (t=47.36, p<.001). Walking moderated the relationship between depression and quality of life in elderly. Based on these findings, the enhancement of walking in depressed elderly is recommended to promote the quality of life.

The Moderating Effect of Teacher Relationship Adaptation Between Adolescents' Domestic Abuse Experience and Depression (청소년들의 가정학대 경험과 우울감의 관계에서 교사관계 적응의 조절효과)

  • The purpose of this study was to verify the moderating effect of teacher relationship adaptation between adolescents' domestic abuse experience and depression. For this purpose, a survey was conducted on 495 adolescents in high school in S city, Chungcheongnam-do, and the data collected were analyzed by using mean comparison analysis, correlation analysis, and moderating effect analysis. The major findings are as follows. First, depression of adolescents differed according to gender and academic achievement. Second, domestic abuse experience and depression showed significant positive correlation, but teacher relationship adaptation had a negative correlation with domestic abuse experience and depression. Third, the result of moderating effect analysis showed that the teacher relationship adaptation had a moderating effect on the relationship between domestic abuse experience and depression. Finally, based on this study, we discussed ways to reduce the depression of adolescents.

청년예비창업가의 창업가정신과 창업동기가 창업의지에 미치는 영향 : 사회적 자본의 조절효과로

  • 본 연구에서는 청년예비창업가의 창업가정신과 창업동기가 사회적 자본을 조절효과로 창업의지에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구이다. 최근 앞으로의 국가경제를 이끌어갈 청년들의 일자리 부족문제와 청년실업률(15세에서 29세의 경제활동인구 중 실업자의 비율)의 증가에 따른 문제가 대두되고 있다. 이를 극복하기 하고 국가경제발전을 위해선 창업은 매우 중요한 전략 중 하나이며 이를 위해 정부에서는 (청년)예비창업가들의 창업의지를 높이기 위해 다양한 노력하고 있다. 창업의지에 있어 창업가정신과 창업동기가 필수적으로 필요하며 이러한 창업가정신과 창업동기를 가지게 되면 (청년)예비창업가들은 자신들이 부족한 사회적 자본을 확보하기 위해 노력하게 되고 이러한 과정 속에서 사회적 자본을 가지고 있고 없고의 차이로 인한 (청년)예비창업자들의 창업의지에 대해 연구하고자 한다. 그렇기에 창업의지에 있어 창업가정신과 창업동기 그리고 사회적 자본의 중요성을 강조하고자 한다. 본 연구는 첫째, 창업가정신이 창업의지에 영향을 미치는지 여부 분석, 둘째, 창업동기가 창업의지에 영향을 미치는지 여부 분석, 셋째, 사회적 자본이 창업가정신과 창업의지에 관계에서 조절효과를 가지는지 여부 분석, 넷째, 사회적 자본이 창업동기와 창업의지에 관계에서 조절효과를 가지는지 여부 분석 등이다. 현재까지 받은 140개의 설문을 받았으며, 본 연구는 창업가정신과 창업동기가 창업의지에 유의한 정(+)의 영향을 미치는지, 사회적 자본은 창업가정신과 창업의지의 관계에서 정(+)의 조절효과를 가질 것인지, 사회적 자본은 창업동기와 창업의지의 관계에서 정(+)의 조절효과를 가질 것인지 등을 분석할 것이다 앞으로 더 많은 설문지를 통해 가설에 대한 검증을 할 것이며 이에 본 연구결과를 통해 (청년)예비창업가에 창업의지에 있어 창업가정신, 창업동기, 사회적 자본의 필요성을 시사점으로 제시하려 한다.

The Effect of Emotional Labor by Social Workers with Case Management of Customer Orientation: Focused on the Moderating Effect of Emotional Intelligence and LMX (사례관리 사회복지사의 감정노동이 고객지향성에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구: 감성지능과 리더-구성원 교환관계의 조절효과를 중심으로)

  • The poor welfare level of social workers is a big social problem in direct proportion to the ongoing need for social welfare service. In particular, the emotional work of social workers is a serious situation. This Study examines the effect of emotional labor(EL) on customer orientation(CO) of social workers with case management. Also this paper investigates the moderating effect of emotional intelligence(EI) and leader-member exchange(LMX). The major results from the study are as follow: First, we found that surface acting(SA) of EL had a negative impact on CO and deep acting(DA) of EL had a positive impact on CO. Second, EI showed a moderating effect on the correlation between SA of EL and CO. Also, EI had the moderating effect that weakening the negative impact of SA on CO. Third, LMX showed a moderating effect on the correlation between DA of EL and CO. Also, LMX had the moderating effect that strengthening the positive impact of DA on CO. In particular, this study presented with implications for future research, limitations of this study.
