자동유량측정시설은 효율적으로 실시간의 유량을 측정하기 위한 수문조사시설로 전국의 주요 국가하천을 대상으로 약 62개소에서 H-ADCP를 활용하여 지속적인 유량측정을 수행하고 있다. 최근 해외에서는 국내 자동유량측정시설에 활용중인 횡방향 초음파도플러유속계(H-ADCP)의 초음파산란도를 활용하여 부유사농도를 측정하는 연구가 수행되고 있다. H-ADCP를 활용한 부유사농도 측정 기술을 자동유량관측소에 적용할 경우 실시간의 유량측정과 함께 부유사농도 자료를 획득할 수 있기 때문에 지속적인 부유사농도를 측정할 수 있는 장점이 있다. 이에 본 연구에서는 H-ADCP를 이용한 부유사농도 측정 기술의 개발을 목적으로 기존 자동유량장치가 설치된 지점 중 과거 유사량 측정을 수행한 5개 지점에 대해 H-ADCP를 이용한 부유사농도 측정 기술의 적용성을 검토하였다. 5개의 지점은 각각 낙동강 수계 구미시(구미대교), 함안군(계내리) 2개 지점과 영산강 수계 광주광역시(극락교), 나주시(남평교), 나주시(나주대교) 3개 지점으로 과거에 수행된 실측 부유사농도 자료와 H-ADCP 원시자료를 활용하여 분석을 수행하였다. 5개 지점에 대해 H-ADCP로부터 측정된 초음파산란도의 보정을 수행하였고, 보정된 초음파산란도와 실측 부유사 농도와의 상관관계를 분석한 결과, 결정계수는 약 0.8이상으로 높은 상관관계를 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 초음파산란도를 활용하여 지속적인 부유사농도를 추정한 결과와 실측부유사농도와 의 정확도를 비교한 결과 80%이상의 정확도를 보여 H-ADCP의 초음파산란도를 활용하여 부유사 농도를 측정하는데 사용이 가능할 것으로 판단되었다.

Compared with other Altaic languages, Japanese and Korean languages are much closer to each other in grammar, and also to Ryukyuan language. According to the literature, Korean people are the first foreigners to record Ryukyuan language in a written form. In the passage "pronunciation interpreting the Ryukyuan Kingdom" from A Journey to the Eastern Countries (1512), Korean people perfectly preserved the pronunciation and meanings of words and sentences in Ryukyuan language in both Korean and Chinese languages, which is an extremely valuable material. Unfortunately, the later time period witnessed stagnation after a prominent beginning. In order to clarify the language family to which Korean belongs to, it is necessary to thoroughly compare Korean language with Japanese and Ryukyuan languages. Different from lexis, grammar underwent a slow and gradual process of variation. A comparative study of the three languages can provide strong evidence for defining the language family of Korean. Based on this rationale, this paper starts from the comparison of grammar elements of these three languages, aiming at case markers including the nominative case markers and the accusative case markers, and observes the procedures and functions diachronically. Based on the examples from the medieval data, it is found that the nominative case markers and the accusative case markers of these three languages vary from each other in forms and origins. Although they show some similarities in functions, it can be conjectured that there is no cognate for the three languages in the history.

지난 1988년 2월 남극반도 남쉐틀랜드 군도의 킹조지섬과 넬슨섬으로 둘러싸인 맥스웰만 연안에 건설된 남극세종과학기지. 우리나라는 지구상의 유일한 비오염 지역인 극지 연구를 위해 세종기지를 건설하고 연구활동을 벌이고 있다. 세종기지 건설은 현대그룹의 현대건설, 현대엔지니어링, 현대중공업이 수행했다. 세종기지는 과학사적 의미와 함께 혹독한 자연환경을 극복하고 건설에 성공했다는 점에서 국내 건설사의 한 페이지를 장식하는 시설물이다. 이제 제2남극대륙기지 건설이 추진 중이다. 현재 건설 후보지 정밀 조사 중으로 정밀조사가 끝나면 건설사 선정 등 사업이 본격적으로 진행될 예정이다. 제2남극대륙기지 건설에 어떤 건설사 및 설비건설업체가 참여할지 주목된다. 한국해양연구원 극지연구소가 제공한 자료와 건설사 취재 등을 토대로 세종과학기지 건설과정을 살펴보고 제2남극대륙기지 건설계획을 전망해본다.

A person who intends to become a maritime pilot shall have sea experience as a master, pass the apprentice pilot test and pilot test, and obtain a license from the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries. In Korea, the government limits the number of pilot licenses, considering the demand for pilotage. An inherent problem exist in the apprentice pilot test system as it conducts a relative evaluation based on test scores without an absolute evaluation standard. The purpose of this study is to identify problems of the current pilot test system and to suggest ways to improve the pilot certification system. In this study, the history of amendments of the pilot certification system in the Pilotage Act was investigated, and implications were derived by examining international standards for pilot certification, and a survey was conducted on 77 incumbent pilots. Consequently, a plan to improve the domestic apprentice pilot test and a step-by-step implementation plan for pilot certification system improvement were presented. The results of this study are expected to be utilized not only for the development of the government policy on pilot certification and for related academic basic data.

국민의 생명과 재산을 보호하고 경제발전에 기여하는 엔지니어링산업은 두뇌산업이며 엔지니어링산업을 육성하기 위하여는 선진국의 기술사등록제를 연구하여 활성화하는 방안을 강구하여야 할 것이다. 우리나라의 기술사제도의 미비점을 검토하기 전에 우선 외국의 기술사등록제의 운영실태를 조사할 필요가 있다.
