  • This study aimed to examine the mediating effects of anxiety between adolescents' smartphone overdependence and fatigue recovery, and to secure the evidence data for adolescents' smartphone overdependence intervention. Among the 16th Korea Youth Risk Behavior Survey, 54,948 students were included. Data were analyzed using Pearson correlation coefficients, factor analysis, mediating effect analysis. The results were as follows. Smartphone overdependence had a direct effect on fatigue recovery and an indirect effect on fatigue recovery through anxiety. Smartphone overdependence had a significant effect on anxiety and fatigue recovery. Also, anxiety is verified as the mediation effect between smartphone overdependence and fatigue recovery. When we prepare intervention programs which improve fatigue recovery for adolescents, we need to consider anxiety.

  • This study examines the relationship between library anxiety and computer attitude with references to the variations in the college students' gender, grade level, academic majors, frequency of library visits, and the perception towards mobile-phones in order to explore the possible measures for minimizing library anxiety amongst the students. The study results show the computer anxiety and the computer usefulness to be the computer attitudinal factors most closely correlated with the level of library anxiety. Our proposed solution is the development of a user training course and curriculum to lower students' computer anxiety while promoting greater computer usefulness.

  • This study Performed five weeks' education on library use as a regular cultural subject at the target on university students and analyzed the difference in their library anxiety between Pre-education and Post-education as well as the difference in educational effectiveness based on the frequency of library use. The result intends to Present the result for basic materials which aye necessary for promoting the education on library use. The object of study selected the university freshmen. located in Gyeonggi-do, taking a lessen of cultural essential subjects. The education contents on library use were the understanding of library organization and function, the structure of library materials, the kind and use of academic information, the citation of materials, the description of bibliography, and the copyright in a library. The study methods applied in the study, were literature researches and two-times' questionnaire surveys in the first week of the education and the last week of that. Total 92 materials were applied for this study. This study performed faired t-test and independent t-test. As a result, four factors of six ones on library anxiety were selected in the verification of hypotheses after performing an education on university students' library use. In addition, the difference in education effectiveness based on university students' library use frequency was excluded in the course of hypothesis verification on six factors or library anxiety.

  • Since most people experience mathematics anxiety(MA), the research on mathematics anxiety has been the main theme in the research of mathematics education. The study of brain science related to MA has recently been begun due to the advent of apparatuses so this study might have revisited MA as time passed and aimed to obtain realistic implications for the future study. For this purpose, we analyzed previous studies how to measure MA and how to develop the intervention to reduce MA. As the result, the researchers based on brain science studied the relevance of specific parts of the brain according to the degree of MA using only simple computational tasks. The research for developing the MA scale has upgraded how to measure both the cognitive and affective domains with more efficient ways. The research on intervention for MA has developed the programs using systematic desensitization, clinical counseling, STAD teaching method, writing methods, etc. However, we realized that more specified and reliable studies to solve the MA must be done in the future.

  • Mathematics anxiety is a term for emotional and physical resistance to mathematics. Understanding students' mathematics anxiety is important not only in terms of improving mathematics academic achievement, but also in nurturing mathematics manpower necessary for the future society. In particular, mathematics anxiety is most likely to occur in elementary school, and it has a negative effect on subsequent learning. Therefore, it is important to understand the aspects of students' mathematics anxiety in elementary school. In this study, I presented the patterns of changes in students' mathematics anxiety over time and statistically verified them. As a result of a follow-up survey of 249 elementary school students' mathematics anxiety for 3 years from 4th to 6th grade, it was found that, rather than having a special pattern related to the formation of math anxiety, it may increase and decrease and vary depending on individual confirmed. Later, in this study, five patterns of Mathematics anxiety patterns were identified through statistical analysis. In addition, I confirmed that the students' interest about teachers' mathematics lessons was consistently influencing the change in mathematics anxiety. The results of this study will increase students' understanding of the formation of mathematics anxiety and can be used as basic data for the development of teaching and learning materials related to mathematics anxiety in the future and subsequent research.

As a result of the analysis, the level of death awareness was 2.04, and the average score was 2.49 points of pain anxiety, 1.95 points of death anxiety, and 1.86 points of anxiety. Death awareness sub - domains showed significant differences in age, grade, health status, and living standards. Pain anxiety, death anxiety, and later life anxiety. The results of this study are as follows: First, the effects of anxiety and anxiety on death, anxiety of death, anxiety of life, anxiety of suffering, anxiety of life, anxiety of death, The fear of death was not so great as death felt far from reality at once. However, a correct perception of death can lead to more peaceful deaths and more rewarding life for the present. Death preparation education is needed to live a meaningful life for college students who are far from death.

  • This study examined the factors influencing aging anxiety in university students. The participants were 239 nursing students from one university in Seoul. Data were collected from September to December in 2014 and analyzed using descriptive statistics, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression. The average score for aging-anxiety was 2.94, for knowledge about the elderly 18.92, for attitude toward the elderly 65.5, for participants' supporting awareness of old parents 4.05, and for self-esteem 3.07. There were negative correlations between aging anxiety, attitude toward the elderly, supporting awareness of old parents, and self-esteem. Aging-anxiety was significantly influenced by age, gender, living with grandparents, attitude toward the elderly, supporting awareness of old parents, and self-esteem. In view of the results of this study, one of the strategic ways to help college students reduce aging anxiety is to provide an opportunity to participate in activities that they can experience positive relationship with elderly.

  • This study analytically examined library anxiety that various users felt when they use public libraries, by measuring it on K-LAS. The findings show that the library anxiety is varied depending on users' age, gender, academic careers, usage purposes, frequency of use and size of libraries. It suggested the guidance and education about the use of libraries, environmental improvement based on the remodeling of libraries, wearing of nameplates written in big characters for identifying librarians and the education for users' understanding and the provision of device and equipment manuals according the levels of users' experiences, as measures for overcoming the library anxiety, enhancing usage satisfaction and activating usage.

  • To investigate the present states and analyze the library anxiety among academic library users, A University library users sampled systematically and surveyed. Data collected from 707 students are analyzed and compared with the previous studies. The average LAS score is 2.55 and show differences in sex, grade levels, and major areas of study. Library use instruction reduces anxiety subscale of barriers with staff. Library anxiety is also differed according to the frequency of library visit. Especially, the anxiety subscale of affective barriers is decreased according to the grade level and frequency of library visit. Based on the results, recommendations are suggested to overcome the library anxiety.
