The study investigated the concept and symptoms of library anxiety, the relationship among the library anxiety, the research anxiety, and the information literacy, and the decrease of library anxiety through the review on literatures on the library anxiety of which the concept was first presented in 1986. The studies on the library anxiety till now had been focusing on the under graduate students and graduate students in America, so the study suggests the necessity of the study on the library anxiety and the development of library anxiety scale for the students' efficient use of the library in Korea.

The purpose of the study is to examine the phenomenon of the library anxiety among domestic undergraduate students and suggest the main factors of it. For this purpose, the study compared and analysed the library anxiety scales suggested through the previous studies. And the study also analysed the postscripts on the library use which were submitted by the students. As a result, the study confirmed the presence of the library anxiety among domestic undergraduate students, and suggested total 47 factors of the library anxiety.

This study analyzes the correlation between the library anxiety and personality traits. The library anxiety (LAS) and personality traits (the Korean BFI) were measured against 49 freshmen in the university. The library anxiety was average 2.57, 'mechanical barriers' score was the highest(2.91), subsequently was 'affective barriers' 2.72, 'barriers with staff' 2.49, 'knowledge of library' 2.42, and 'comfort with the library' score was the lowest(2.38). The personality traits had the tendency that 'agreeableness'f actor(3.65) is higher than other 4 factors, 'neuroticism'(3.48), 'extraversion'(3.27), 'openness'(2.85), and 'conscientiousness' (3.26). It found that 'comfort with the library' and 'neuroticism' were correlated statistically and the personality traits have an effect on library anxiety. Based on the findings, the following recommendations are made: improving the measurement tool of information anxiety, using other personality traits variables in similar researches, and developing personalized library anxiety resolution programs.

대학생의 취업불안, 우울과 자살생각간의 관계를 확인하기 위해 서술적 조사연구를 진행하였으며 연구결과 대학생들의 취업불안은 중간이상이었으며 취업불안을 유발하는 원인에 대한 불안이 높았다. 또한 우울은 경정도의 우울을 나타내고 있었으며 자살생각도 중간정도였다. 대학생들의 취업불안은 우울 및 자살과 중정도 이상의 상관관계를 보였으며 대학생의 자살생각에 대해 취업불안과 우울은 21.8%의 설명력을 보였다.

본 연구는 수면의 질, 우울, 불안, 인지기능을 확인하고 이들의 상관관계를 알아보는 서술적 상관관계연구 연구이다. K도 G시, D시에 위치한 10곳의 경로당에서 65세 이상 일반노인 130명을 대상으로 설문조사를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 대상자의 일반적 특성의 빈도, 백분율을 산출하였고 대상자의 수면의 질, 불안, 우울, 인지정도의 평균, 표준 편차을 산출하였으며, 대상자의 일반적 특성에 따른 수면의 질, 불안, 우울, 인지정도를 t-test와 one-way ANOVA로 분석하였으며, 대상자의 수면의 질, 불안, 우울, 인지정도의 상관관계 검정은 Pearson's correlation coefficient를 실시하였다. 연구결과는 수면의 질, 불안, 우울, 인지기능의 상관관계는 불안과 수면의 질(p=-.422), 우울과 수면의 질(p=-.552)간에 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났고, 불안과 우울은 유의한 양의 상관관계가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 노인이 지각하는 수면의 질과 우울, 불안, 인지기능의 정도를 파악하고 노인수면증진을 위한 간호중재 개발에 기초자료가 될 수 있을 것이다.

In this study, I investigate the relationship between mathematics anxiety and mathematics teacher anxiety of elementary school teachers with integrated method. As a result of statistical analysis of the survey of 256 elementary school teachers, there was a statistically significant positive correlation between the two factors (r = .630, p <.05). The analysis show that teaching experience and degree may affect mathematics anxiety and teaching experience, degree, and teacher qualification may affect mathematics teaching anxiety. Subsequently I conduct a qualitative study focusing on interviews with 20 elementary school teachers. As a result of the analysis, I confirm that even if the mathematics anxiety is low, mathematics teaching anxiety may occur due to the teaching environment. As a result of the quantitative and qualitative analysis of this study, Korean elementary school teachers' mathematics anxiety and mathematics teaching anxiety might be regarded as separate factors. From the result of the study, I suggest that mathematics anxiety and mathematics teaching anxiety of elementary school teachers, each emotional state might be considered as independent emotional status. The implication of the study indicate that independent methods might be developed in order to prevent and treat mathematics anxiety and mathematics teaching anxiety in elementary school teachers.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the relation between and subjective instability pain behavior (SIPB) and physical instability test(PIT) according to the presence of characteristic past histories(CPH) in people with chronic low back pain(CLBP). Forty CLBP subjects participated in this study. The presence of four characteristics past histories(long term history, traumatic experience, sports activities, neurologic sign) were examined. According to presence number(PN) of CPH, subjects were divided into 5 groups[group 1(PN:0): n=8, group 2(PN:1): n=8, group 3(PN:2): n=8, group 4(PN:3): n=8, group 5(PN:4): n=8]. After 16 items were examined for the SIPBs, then Seven PITs were conducted, and the results were scored. The SIPBs and PITs were compared according to the presence numbers of CPH, and the relation between them was analyzed. There was a significant difference(p<.05) in both SIPB scores and PIT scores in the comparison of groups according to the presence number of CPH. There was high positive correlation between the presence numbers of CPH and SIPB score(r=.819, p=.000) and PIT score(r=.606, p=.000). Also, there was a correlation between SIPB score and PIT score(r=.571, p=.000). Based on the findings in the present study, the presence of three or more CPH in people with CLBP may be a useful variable in the diagnosis of lumbar instability. The combined findings of the three variables such as CPH, SIPB, and PIT can improve the accuracy of lumbar instability diagnosis.

This study examined the factors influencing aging anxiety among college students. 336 college students from universities in Seoul and Gyeonggi-Do were participated in the survey. Regression analyses confirmed that variables influencing 4 dimensions of aging anxiety are different. Quality of contact and attitude toward elderly predicted 'Fear of Old People' dimension. As for 'Psychological Concerns', death anxiety, attitude toward elderly and Quality of contact were influencing factors. Death anxiety, Quality of contact and sex was significant factors predicting. 'Physical/Appearance anxiety'. As for Fear of Losses, Death anxiety and attitude toward elderly affect. On the whole college students' aging anxiety tended to increase as having lower death anxiety, positive quality of contact, positive attitude towards elderly. And female has higher Physical/ Appearance anxiety than male. whereas results have not found a correlation between either knowledge of aging and frequency of contact with aging anxiety. Discussion focuses on the importance of the findings, limitations and future directions.

This study was done to research and analyze the reasons why students feel anxious about learning mathematics. The aim of this study are to learn how to decrease the anxiety toward mathematics, and to find ways to give the learners confidence in their ability to study as well as increase their mathematical competence. The research method used was the development of a mathematics program through which the learners could have easy access to the mathematics to be studied.

This study is a descriptive research study conducted to investigate the influence of fear of evaluation and test anxiety on social anxiety among nursing students. The subjects were 383 nursing students in a university and surveyed the structured questionnaires for evaluation fear, test anxiety and social anxiety from June to July 2015. As a result, it was found that fear of positive evaluation, fear of negative evaluation and test anxiety were found to affect social anxiety, and these variables predicted social anxiety of nursing students by 30%. The social anxiety of nursing students verified differences according to the economic condition, satisfaction of major in nursing, and academic stress, and that there was a positive correlation between fear of positive evaluation (r=.45, p<.001), fear of negative evaluation (r=.29, p<.001) and test anxiety (r=.29, p<.001). This study is significant in that fear of evaluation and test anxiety of nursing students are verified to be factors affecting social anxiety. We suggest that a social anxiety intervention program be developed and applied for nursing students. Also, it is necessary secure a strategy to apply the intervention program by screening social anxiety of nursing students in advance.
