Robust Design of a Linear DC Motor Using Taguchi Method (다구찌 방법을 이용한 선형직류모터의 로버스트 설계)

  • This papper is concerned with robust design of a linear DC motor which is steading fast in OA and FA systems due to simplicity in structure high-speed operation and high-precision positioning. The approach is based on the Taguchi method and utilizes the orthogonal way for design of experiments. In this study, first, the important factors are chosen at first. and then the concept of signal-to-nose(S/N) ratio is allied to evaluate the motor performance and each value of the design parameters is determined. This method is useful to robust design in a short time. As a result, the performance of the motor is improved.

  • Speed control systems of the governor in power station used in this study is organized by the regulator (PID controller), actuator and turbine. Considering parameter uncertainties and disturbances in this system, the performance may not be achieved by the PID control. Therefore, a design technique is necessary that accomplish the desired system performance tolerance in despite of plant uncertainty i\I1d disturbances. In this study, we used QFT(Quantitative Feedback Theory) to provide stable operation in power plant and presented the genetic algorithm for loop shaping approximation technique of QFT. And we designed speed control systems for the governor using the above approach.proach.

  • This paper presents the current and speed controller design procedure and their performance for the IPMSM based next generation high speed railway traction system. The next generation high speed railway system is a power distributed type and uses vector control method for a motor speed control. Since the speed and current controller gains of the vector control system directly affects to the transient characteristics and speed control capability, the systematic design of the controllers are required. In this paper the controllers are designed using the IPMSM based next generation high speed railway system parameters. Simulation programs based on Matlab/Simulink is developed. Finally the controller characteristics are analyzed by the simulation results.

  • 본 논문은 가로등 LED조명 설계를 위해 LED(Light Emiting Diode)소자 특성 분석 및 시뮬레이션을 통한 광 특성을 개선하고자 하였다. 시뮬레이션은 Geometry 와 Optic 특성을 고려하였으며, 광속, 스펙트럼, 지향각, 조도값 분석을 통해 제품과 시뮬레이션 특성을 비교하였다. 광 특성 개선 설계변수로는 $30^{\circ}C{\sim}50^{\circ}$ 사이의 2차 렌즈를 각도별로 설계하여 35 도 렌즈 각도일 때 최대 조도특성을 확인했으며, LED 모듈간 간격 배치는 3Cm 일 때 가장 높은 조도특성이 나타났다. 9개의 LED모둘 각도를 정면 Angle($\theta1$)과 측면 Angle($\theta2$)으로 구분하여 각도에 따라 배치 시켜본 결과, 정면 Angle($\theta1$)은 0도일 때, 측면 Angle($\theta2$)은 10도 일 때 가장 높은 조도 특성이 나타났다.

  • This paper deals with the design of a robust LQC/LTR (Linear Quadratic Gaussian with Loop Transfer Recovery) controller of the TCSC for the power system oscillation damping enhancement. Designing LQG/LTR controller involves several design parameter adjustment processes for performance improvement. this paper proposes a systematic design parameter adjustment procedure which is suitable for robust multi-monde stabilization. The designed controller is verified by nonlinear power system simulation, which shows that the controller is effective for damping power system oscillations.

  • The ANSI/IEEE Std. 80-2000 method has been commonly used to design grounding system for the South Korea domestic market. However, the appropriateness of this method to the ground design environment has not yet been examined. This paper presents a new design grounding system method that complements the ANSI/IEEE Std. 80-2000 method, when the new method is a lied to thickness, dangerous voltage, and grid spaced computations for grounding conductors. Furthermore, this paper examines reliability and economic efficiency issues by comparing of the ANSI/IEEE Std. 80-2000 Annex B's case study with the original method.

  • In this paper, the algorithm which improve the efficiency of surveillance in spite of the change of light is proposed and confirmed by virtue of the experiments. One of the problems for the implementation of visual surveillance system is the image processing technique to overcome with the variations of illumination lights. Some conventional systems are generally not considered the error due to the change of lights because the system use at indoor. In practical, the factors of bad image can be classified to the ghosts due to the reflection of lights and shadows in a scene. Especially weak images and noises at night are decreased the performance of visual surveillance system. In the paper, the filter which improve the images with some change of illumination lights is designed and the gabor filter is used for recognition and tracking of the moving objects. In the results, the system showed that the recognition and tracking were obtained $92\sim100%$ of recognition rate at daytime, but $80\sim90%$ of nighttime.

  • DMX512 protocol is a typical protocol which controls LED lighting system. It has a strong feature and can be used to a lot of lighting system. But LED control system with cable has a few problem because they have a lot of control cables. It is very difficult to set up the complex lighting. Furthermore if it is set up it is not easy to keep and recover the system from the out of order. So it is required Wireless Lighting Control System. This paper describes the proposal, design, and implementation of a novel method which can provide versatile light effects with the increased capability of the mobility and the number of universes for Wireless Lighting system. And then we implement experiment environment to control indoor lighting system controled by ZigBee and WLAN converter not having complicating control line. Data frames are transferred to DMX512 device by encapsulation and decapsulation to control color LED. In the same time give the method to solve the data bottleneck problem which can be comes out because of speed difference between Heterogeneous network and measure performance of control system.

  • In this paper, we constructed using a Cortex M3 microcontroller developed by ARM Inc. as a way to control the LED light more efficiently. And Using the short-range wireless communication by the Bluetooth communication method applied to control the LED light was configured to wirelessly control the wireless circuits. In this paper, users can easily download and easy to wirelessly control the LED lighting control circuit to design an Android application from Android-based smartphone so that you can control with your smartphone to have anyone to control the LED lighting control circuit wirelessly. If the LED lights radio control circuit is configured with the Cortex M3 in this paper is applicable to both indoor and outdoor and eco-friendly technology, is using LED driver to enhance the efficiency of the LED becomes stable voltage supply is made, the brightness of LED lighting control.

  • 24" LCD Monitor용 LED BLU를 개발하기 위하여 1.5W R,G,G,B가 하나의 PKG에 들어있는 LED를 이용하여 Direct type의 Back Light Unit을 개발하였다. 방열 및 휘도 균일도를 고려하여 LED part를 설계, 개발 하였고 LED를 pulse로 구동하기 위하여 Switching circuit이 포함되는 구동회로 부분을 설계, 개발하였다. 또한 Color Sensor와 ICM (Integrated Color Management) IC를 사용하여 Color를 Control하는 제어회로 부분도 개발을 하였다. 제어회로 부분을 개발하기 위하여 MicroController를 사용하였으며 ICM IC와의 통신을 위한 부분도 개발하였다. 이러한 구성을 개발하여 시제품을 직접 제작하였다. 평가를 위하여 성능시험을 실시하였고 광학적인 평가도 시행하였다. 제작된 시제품은 $L558{\times}W359{\times}H30$으로 하였다. 휘도는 목표휘도를 이루었으며 균일도는 85% 이상이 되었다.
