The Trend of Aviation Terrorism in the 4th Industrial Revolution Period and the Development Direction for Domestic Counter Terrorism of Aviation (제4차 산업혁명 시대의 항공 테러리즘 양상 및 국내 항공테러 대응체계 발전방향)

  • On the one hand, the 4th Industrial Revolution provides a positive opportunity to build a new civilization paradigm for mankind. However, on the other hand, due to the 4th Industrial Revolution, artificial intelligence such as 'Goggle Alpha Go' revolutionized and even the human ability was replaced with a 'Silicon Chip' as the opportunity to communicate decreases, the existence of human beings is weakened. And there is a growing concern that the number of violent crimes, such as psychopath, which hunts humans as games, will increase. Moreover, recent international terrorism is being developed in a form similar to 'Psychopathic Violent-Crime' that indiscriminately attacks innocent people. So, the probability that terrorist organizations abuse the positive effects provided by the Fourth Industrial Revolution as means of terrorism is increasing. Therefore, the paradigm of aviation terrorism is expected to change in a way that attacks airport facilities and users rather than aircraft. Because airport facilities are crowded, and psychopathic terrorists are easily accessible. From this point of view, our counter terrorism system of aviation has many weak points in various aspects such as: (1) limitations of counter-terrorism center (2) inefficient on-site command and control system (3) separated organization for aviation security consultation (4) dispersed information collection function in government (5) vulnerable to cyber attack (6) lack of international cooperation network for aviation terrorism. Consequently, it is necessary to improve the domestic counter terrorism system of aviation so as to preemptively respond to the international terrorism. This study propose the following measures to improve the aviation security system by (1) create 'Aviation Special Judicial Police' (2) revise the anti-terrorism law and aviation security law (3) Strengthening the ability respond to terrorism in cyberspace (4) building an international cooperation network for aviation terrorism.

Crystallography and Layered Structure of Synthetic Perovskite-type ($K_2La_2Ti_nO_{2n+4}$) Minerals (합성 페롭스카이트형($K_2La_2Ti_nO_{2n+4}$)광물의 결정학 및 층상구조에 관한 연구)

  • 티타늄과 산소의 함량이 서로 다른 4가지의 합성 페롭스카이트형(perovskite-type) 광물(($K_2$$La_2$$Ti_{n}$/$O_{2n+4}$, n=3, 4, 5, 6; 14/mcm, 14/mmm, I42 m)을 대상으로 리트벨트(Rietveld)구조분석법을 실시하여 결정구조를 밝히고 티타늄함량에 따른 층상형 구조를 연구하였다. 4가지 합성시료에 대하여 구조분석을 실시한결과 대표적인 페롭스카이트형 광물인 토소나이트(taustonite, $La_{1-x}$ //$K_{x}$ /$TiO_3$, x<0.4)가 주성분으로 나타났으며 토스나이트내에 12개의 산소를 배위하는 A자리 양이온은 자리점유율에 의해 $La^{3+}$$K^{+}$ /의 치환관계를 보여준다 공간군은 14/mcm, 단위포는 a=5.505(1)~5.510(1)$\AA$, c=7.793(1)~7.796(1)$\AA$ V=236.25~236.66 $\AA^3$ 범위의 값을 갖는다. 구조의 정밀도를 나타내는 R지수를 살펴보면 $R_{B}$ 값은 5.31~9.10 S(GofF)값은 0.86~1.24로 각각 계산되었다. 12배위를 하는 A자리 양이온인 란탄과 산소의 평균거리는 2.755$\AA$이고 6배위를 하는 B자리 양이온인 티타늄과 산소의 평균거리는 1.948 $\AA$의 결과를 얻었다. 합성된페롭스카이트형 광물의 층상구조가 알려져 있지 않아 시뮬레이션을 통해 구조모델을 결정하였으며 그결과 n=3인 R-38시료에서만 두 종류의 층상 페롭스카이트($La_2$$K_2$$Ti_3$$O_{10}$ ) 구조 (A-type: 14/mmm, a=3.8178 $\AA$, c=29.9189 $\AA$, V=436.04 $\AA^3$, B-type: 142 m, a =3.8376 $\AA$, c=28.023 $\AA$, V=412.6 $\AA^3$)가 존재함을 확인하였으나 다른 시료에서는 토소나이트, 금홍석 외에 새로운 합성광물로 제파이트의 존재를 확인하였다.

A Study on Integration Strategies for e-Government and GIS in Korea (전자정부 구현을 위한 GIS 연계방안 연구)

  • Geospatial information and technologies are considered as a fundamental element in the foreign advanced e-governments. Integration of e-Government and GIS technology should be an important task for the Korean e-government. Purpose of this study is to propose integration strategies for Korean e-Government and National GIS projects in a GIS perspective. For the successful integration this study analyzes the evolutional stages of e-Government and changes of GIS paradigms in a more comprehensive way. This study hypothesizes that integration of e-Government and GIS can create greater synergic effects fur the improved citizen services and increased efficiency of governmental administration. To verify the hypothesis, cases of advanced e-Governments in the foreign countries and progress of the Korean e-Government projects are compared and integration strategies are suggested. The strategies are as follows: expanded integration of geospatial and text-based information in e-Government for the greater synergic effects, implementation of GIS portal for e-Government, and development of a variety of geospatial information services for easy access and public participation. Most importantly, innovation of the institutional environments can be considered as an essential requirement to enhance and broaden interdepartmental partnerships. To realize the integration strategies suggested, this study presented the future projects under the following 5 topics: 'service', 'integration of information', 'technology', 'organization' and 'infrastructure for integration'. It is expected that results of this study can contribute to the bigger picture of Korean e-Government and the third National GIS master plan in 2006.

Groundwater control measures for deep urban tunnels (도심지 대심도 터널의 지하수 변동 영향 제어 방안)

  • Most of the urban tunnels in Korea, which are represented by the 1st to 3rd subways, use the drainage tunnel by NATM. Recently, when a construction project that actively utilizes large-scale urban space is promoted, negative effects that do not conform to the existing empirical rules of urban tunnels may occur. In particular, there is a high possibility that groundwater fluctuations and hydrodynamic behavior will occur owing to the practice of tunnel technology in Korea, which has mainly applied the drainage tunnel. In order to solve the problem of the drainage tunnel, attempts are being made to control groundwater fluctuations. For this, the establishment of tunnel groundwater management standard concept and the analysis of the tunnel hydraulic behavior were performed. To prevent the problem of groundwater fluctuations caused by the construction of large-scale tunnels in urban areas, it was suggested that the conceptual transformation of the empirical technical practice, which is applied only in the underground safety impact assessment stage, to the direction of controlling the inflow in the tunnel, is required. And the relationship between the groundwater level and the inflow of the tunnel required for setting the allowable inflow when planning the tunnel was derived. The introduction of a tunnel groundwater management concept is expected to help solve problems such as groundwater fluctuations, ground settlement, depletion of groundwater resources, and decline of maintenance performance in various urban deep tunnel construction projects to be promoted in the future.

A comparison of on masse retraction of six anterior teeth with separate canine retraction (6전치 일괄(on masse) 견인과 견치 견인 후 4전치 견인 시 공간폐쇄 양상에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare on masse retraction of six anterior teeth with separate canine retraction in the amount of the anchorage loss and the retraction of the anterior teeth. The subjects consisted of 30 adult female patients with Angle Class 1 malocclusions who were treated by .022' straight wire appliance with 4 first permolar extraction. They were composed of two groups. Group 1 consisted of 15 subjects, whose six anterior teeth were retracted by on masse retraction. Group 2 consisted of 15 subjects, whose canines were retracted separately. Pre-treatment and post-treatment lateral cephalometric radiographs were analyzed. All data were processed statistically with independent samples t-test, and the conclusions were as follows. 1. There was no significant difference in the amount of the anchorage loss between two groups(p>0.05). 2. There was no significant difference in the amount of the retraction of the anterior teeth between two groups(p>0.05). 3. There was a significant difference in the amount of the inclinational change of the upper incisors between two groups. It was greater in Group 2. 4. There was a significant difference in the vertical positional change of the upper incisal edges between two groups. The upper incisal edges in Group 2 were more extruded than Group 1 by about 1mm. 5. There was no significant difference in the vertical positional change of the root apex of the upper incisors between two groups(p>0.05). And there was no significant difference in the vertical positional change of the upper molar(p>0.05).

  • Proliferation of cloud computing services brings about reduction of the maintenance and management costs by allowing data to be outsourced to a dedicated third-party remote storage. At the same time, the majority of storage service providers have adopted a data deduplication technique for efficient utilization of storage resources. When a hash tree is employed for duplicate identification as part of deduplication process, size information of the attested data and partial information about the tree can be deduced from eavesdropping. To mitigate such side channels, in this paper, a new duplicate identification method is presented by exploiting a multi-set hash function.

  • 냉동공조용 열교환기의 종류, 특징, 기술개발 동향, 전망 등에 대해 요약한 결과를 정리하면 다 음과 같다. (1) 암모니아 냉매가 다시 각광을 받음에 따라 응축기의 형식도 크게 변하고 있다. 이러한 변화로 핀 튜브를 사용한 횡형, 금속용착형 플레이트 식, 플레이트 핀 식의 응축기들이 암모니아 용으로 적용되기 시작하고 있다. (2) 암모니아 냉동장치는 현재에도 많이 적용되고 있으나 대부분 중앙 집중식 천정증발기나 강관 제 유닛 쿨러를 사용하고 있다. 그러나 최근 기술의 발전과 더불어 알루미늄 관 알루미늄 핀 증발기가 개발됨에 따라 암모니아 냉매도 프레온 냉매와 마찬가지로 건식, 분산식으로 적용되게 되었으며 이 분야의 기술개발이 요청된다. (3) 열교환기의 연구 방향은 에너지 절약, 공간 절약에 기여하면서도 성능향상을 이룩할 수 있는 기술개발, 그리고 소음이 적은 기기 제조 기술이 요망된다. 또한, 착상에 대한 기술적 대책, 근 본적 대책에 대한 대비가 요망되며, 기존 냉매에 대한 대체 냉매용 최적 열교환기에 대한 적극적 연구가 요망된다. (4) 제한된 에너지 자원, 지구환경, 열악한 우리나라의 에너지 사정 등을 고려할 때 냉동공조용 열교환기의 성능 향상에 대한 국가와 일반 소비자들의 기대는 더욱 증가하리라 예상된다. 이들 요구를 만족시키기 위해서는 냉동공조용 열교환기의 성능 향상, 열교환기의 제작에 필요한 자 원의 절약, 생산성 향상, 설치장소와 관련한 효율적인 공간활용, 열교환기 자체 소음의 최소화 등의 방면에 착실한 연구 개발이 있어야 할 것이다.

  • There are several traditional factors of software quality. Some of them are such as correctness, reliability, efficiency, compatibility, portability, etc. In addition to them, security is required as another factor of software quality nowadays because some application programs are used as a way to attack information systems by stack frame manipulation. Each processor has its own peculiar stack frame mechanism and C language uses the characteristics of them. This paper explains the concept of security problem caused by stack frame manipulation, and the stack frame mechanism of Pentium, Alpha and SP ARC processor in detail. And then it examines the effect of stack frame mechanism on the security of programs in C language.

다발 원통 튜브형 그레인의 연소 불안정 억제를 위한 실험적 연구

  • 연소실의 세장비(aspect ratio)가 작으면서 추진제의 고 충전을 이용한 단시간 연소 모타는 유도탄의 사출 모타 용으로 사용될 수 있다. 사출 모타는 일반적으로 모타 무게에 대한 제약 조건이 까다롭지 않기 때문에 무게 경량화에 대한 부담은 줄어들지만, 모타의 부피가 커지면 유도탄 발사 장치의 부피가 커지기 때문에 공간적인 측면에서 가능한 작게 하는 것이 시스템 전체의 효율을 증대시킬 수 있다. 또한 사출 모타의 연소 시간이 짧기 때문에(1초 이내) 추진제의 웹 두께가 작으므로 연소실의 주어진 공간에서 추진제를 많이 채우기 위한 방법으로 원통 튜브형 그레인을 여러 개의 다발로 사용하는 방법이 효과적이다. 이러한 관점에서 사출 모타용으로 다발 원통 튜브형 그레인을 설계/제작/연소시험을 하였더니 작은 저주파(약 10Hz)의 연소 불안정 현상이 발생하였다. (그림1). 이러한 주파수 대역은 일반적으로 잘 알려진 연소 불안정 모드 (longitudinal, tangential, and radial mode)와는 다른 아주 특이한 현상이다. 이러한 현상의 주 원인은 연소실 내 압력의 비평형에 의한 현상이라 판단되어 다음과 같은 연구를 수행하였다. 1) 그레인 튜브간의 압력 평형을 원활하게 하기 위하여 그레인에 구멍(홀)을 뚫어서 연소 안정화에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구(그림2), 2) 그레인에 홀을 뚫지 않고 격자와 격자간의 공간을 이용하여 그레인 간에 발생된 저주파의 압력 진동을 산란/소멸 시키는 연소 안정화 연구(그림3).

Effect of tunneling under a bridge on pile foundation behavior mechanism (교량 직하부에 시공되는 터널에 의한 말뚝기초의 거동변화)

  • This paper presents the effect of tunneling on bridge pile foundation being operated using three-dimensional numerical modeling. Also the parametric study on the depth of tunnel of which the diameter was 10 m was carried out in order to evaluate the behaviors of pile foundation due to the tunnel excavation. This paper expresses the changes of vertical and horizontal displacement, movement of soil and stress of the pile. Based on the results obtained from the numerical analysis some insights into the changes of pile foundation behaviors due to variations of tunneling location were mentioned and discussed.
