  • 학회 조직의 구성과 운영에서 민주적이고 자율적 방식을 선택하고 있음은 물론이며, 조직의모체로써 본부를 두고 필요에 따라서 국내외 지역에 지부 또는 지회를 두어 설립목적의 학술활동을 수행하는 형태가 일반적이다. 동굴의 지역적 분포 특성과 동굴마다의 고유한 특징을 고려할 때, 동굴학회의 특성상 각 지역 지부의 필요성은 절대적이라고 하여도 지나침이 없으며, 따라서 이에 대하여 우리 학회가 추구하는 동굴의 효율적 관리와 보존 방안으로 동굴관리정보시스템(CMIS) 구축을 위한 노력 경주와 그 기반형성의 지역 조직구성을 공고히 하는 일은 매우 의미 있는 일중의 하나이다. 그러므로 세계적인 화산동굴 유산을 지니고 있는 제주지역 조직구성이 모범이 될 수 있도록 강조하며, 그 추진을 희망하여 요청한다.

  • The disaster impact assessment system was introduced in 2005 as a disaster prevention procedure for comprehensive and systematic developmental projects. However, according to the 'Practical Guidelines for Disaster Impact Assessment', Jeju Island's unique hydrogeological features necessitate the calculation of isohyetal-based probabilistic rainfall, which can reflect altitude, when estimating probabilistic rainfall for flood volume determination, rather than using conventional methods. Despite Jeju Island being centered around Hallasan, there are three Automatic Weather Stations (AWS) located at the summit of Hallasan, making weather stations denser than in other cities and provinces. Therefore, it is judged that there would be no difficulty in applying conventional methods, such as utilizing the probabilistic rainfall data from the weather stations or employing the Thiessen method, to estimate flood volumes for small-scale project areas. Accordingly, this study conducts a comparative analysis of the impact of applying general probabilistic rainfall from weather stations and isohyetal-based probabilistic rainfall in site in the context of Jeju Island's disaster impact assessment system.

Influence of Operation Conditions on the Performance of PEM Water Electrolysis (운전조건이 PEM 수전해 셀의 성능에 미치는 영향)

  • Green Hydrogen demonstration complex is under conduction in Jeju island which is rich in renewable energy resources and will produces green hydrogen using a water electrolysis systems. In order to check durability of long-term operation, AST(accelerated stress test) was applied and the power pattern based on Jeju Island's wind power was applied. After 800 hours of repeated application of low current and high current, the performance of the PEM water electrolysis cell was reduced by up to 10% and by about 5.5% in operating conditions. As the result of impedance analysis, it can be seen that the electrode polarization resistance greatly increased than ohmic polarization resistance. In addition, when the durability evaluation was conducted by applying the wind power pattern of Jeju Island, the performance of the PEM water electrolysis cell showed up to 1.6% and a decrease of less than 1% in operating conditions. As a result of the impedance, it can be seen that the change of ohmic resistance and electrode polarization resistance is small.

  • A seroepidemiologic observation of anti-Spirometrc erinacei plerocercoid (sparganum) antibody (IgG) in serum was made in normal adult and epileptic patients in Korea from february, 1987 to September, 1990. Sera were tested by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA) for anti-sparganum antibody together with anti-Taenic soEiun metacestode, and anti-Parusonimus westermcni antibodies. Sera reacted positively to sparganum antigen only were considered. Positive rate for anti-sparganum antibody in 850 normal adults was 1.9% (standardized rate by provincial population was 1.7%). In 2,667 randomly selected patients of epilepsy at 28 local centers of the Changmi Club, positive rate was 2.5% (standardized rate: 2.3%). In both normal adult and patient groups, the higher antibody rates were observed in Kangwon and Chonnam Provinces. Positive rates were 10 times higher in male than in female in normal adults and 4.5 times in male epileptic patients. The rates were elevated especially with age over 30-year. odd ratio of the antibody was 1.32 which indicated an ambiguous etiologic factor for epilepsy.

  • This paper suggests an evaluation of risk level for damage of marine accidents in SRRs. Qualitative analyses in words is sometimes priorior to quantative analyses in numeric symbols. This paper intoduces a concept of fuzzy theory with the plenty of related literature review and AHP in the Korean SRRs of RCC and RSC. The methodology of this paper is max . min composition of fuzzy extensive principle, defuzzifiation is centroid of gravity methods. At the result, the evaluation of risk level is especially over Serious for smarine accident of Taean, Gunsan, Mokpo, Yosu, Tongyoung, Busan SRR. This paper recommends that many Rescue Vessels and Equipments need to the reduction of risk level about those.
