A Case Study on the BSC Development of a Small and Medium-sized Manufacturing Enterprise for Performance Evaluation (중소기업의 성과평가를 위한 BSC 구축에 관한 사례연구 - I사를 중심으로)

  • The purpose of this study is to establish the Balanced Score Card for 'I Company' which is a small and medium sized manufacturing company in Busan City. It is suitable for SMEs and suitable for the management environment. The study was intended to contain the detailed needs of managers and employees when developing the performance measurement system. It also allowed other SMEs to benchmark through this study. We also proposed a solution to the problems after BSC construction. In addition, BSC has been developed for the purpose of shifting business strategy from RDS to SSS in accordance with changes in the demand market environment. Strategy Maps were divided into the whole company level and each team level. You can look at strategic goals, core success factors, and key performance indicators at each glance. Finally, we developed a smart performance evaluation system that can easily calculate the score, strategic goal, key success factor, weight of key performance indicators, target score, performance, and achievement rate by creating a smart chart. Have significance.

A Resilience-based Model for Performance Evaluation of Information Systems (복원탄력성기반 정보시스템 성과평가모델 연구)

  • Information System is influenced by the innovation of new IT. Therefore, IS should response to external environment's changes quickly. Particularly, resilience should be considered in barriers of IS. This study suggests a new information system evaluation model in which resilience is added to the existing factors of Delone and Mclean. Then the effect of resilience is evaluated through the DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) based on a survey targeting 115 users of a mid-sized manufacturing company. The results show that the effect of resilience is stronger than any other factors in the previous researches. We, thus, suggest that the resilience should be included as an evaluation factor of the ISO27001 information security standard in order to enhance the absorptive capacity of the information system.

  • Recently, research using machine learning have shown remarkable results in various domains, leading to the fact that leaning-based dispatchers have intrigued interest in both academia and industry. To improve the performance of the dispatcher, each dispatch decision needs to be evaluated in detail. However, existing studies on visualization techniques for manufacturing lines have mainly focused on illustrating the performance indicators or abnormal patterns. In this paper, we propose a monitoring system that displays a variety of information about the manufacturing line along with alternatives at the time of each dispatching decision being made. Furthermore, the proposed system effectively represents the cause of the idle time of resources and the change of the performance index over time.

  • 자동생산화를 위한 공장설계에 있어서 설비배치에 관한 연구는 제조 유연성 요소의 통합과 이용을 적절하게 수행함으로써 가능하다. 특히 현실적인 설비배치의 특성은 그룹테크놀로지와 물자흐름의 전략을 파악하고 그들의 방법을 조사함으로써 기존의 연구에서 이론적으로 치우치는 경향을 몇 가지의 방법을 통합함으로 실질적인 응용에 그 목적을 두고 있다. 본 연구는 그래프이론과 수학적인 모형을 개발하여 통합적인 접근방법을 전개한다. 또한 설비배치 디자인에 대한 평가를 정량적인 방법으로 나타내고 있으며 경영전략에 있어 제조설비능력을 제고하는데 그 응용성을 보여주고 있다. 그것은 자동화 생산환경에 있어 각 시스템의 응용성과 목적과 관계 그리고 물자흐름관계 등을 정확하게 반영하는데 이바지한다. 현대 제조산업에 있어 고려할 수 있는 모든 각각의 제조요소가 제 특성을 수행하기 위해서는 우선적으로 설비배치 디자인의 중요함을 예를 들어 보여준다.

  • Today, companies are increasingly focused on SCM (Supply Chain Management) as a means for cost-cutting and efficient operation. The company's ultimate objective is to win and maintain a sustained dominant position in the uncertainties of the global environment and future competitiveness. In this respect, this study examined the effects of management strategy, collaboration process and SCM integration on corporate performance in small and midsize parts manufacturers. The results of empirical analysis are summarized as follows. Management strategy, collaboration process and SCM integration had positive effects on corporate performance in domestic small and midsize parts manufacturers, and all hypotheses were supported. Consequently, it can be confirmed that quality, cost and flexibility for management strategy, and strategic objective perception, support policy, problem solution and knowledge information sharing for delivery and collaboration as small and midsize parts manufacturers are mechanisms for improving quality reliability, decreasing cost, delivery obedience and information system operation of SCM integration, and boosting corporate quantitative and qualitative performance.

신경망과 전문가 시스템을 결합한 플라즈마 장비 센서정보 융합

  • 본 연구에서는 플라즈마 상태를 조기에 예측하는 기법을 개발하였다. 본 기법은 신경망 시계열 모델, CUSUM 제어 차트, 그리고 Dempster Schafer 전문가 시스템을 결합하여 개발하였다. 시계열 모델은 과거와 미래정보의 조합을 통해 그 예측성능을 최적화하였다. 본 기법은 소자제조업체에서 가동중인 PECVD 장비에서 수집된 센서정보에 적용하여 평가하였으며, 플라즈마의 정상과 고장 상태를 조기에 정확히 예측할 수 있었다. 소자제조업체에서 본 기법을 적용할 때, 장비 생산성과 소자수율의 증진에 기여할 수 있다.

  • The critical role played by manufacturing performance measurement systems in achieving competitive success is increasingly recognized. Developing an integrated performance measurement model is significant for strategic management. This study consist of several principal steps. Performance criteria from the literature and an questionnaire were utilized prior to building the performance model. The AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) is utilized to evaluate the weight of each criterion when generating the performance measurement model for Korea automobile parts manufacturing company. AHP analysis showed clear difference in the priority between 5 criteria and 24 sub-criteria in terms of manufacturing performance of Korean automobile parts manufacturing company. The result of priority evaluation in the 5 criteria of 2nd level was ranked quality, cost, delivery, employee, flexibility. And the critical sub-criteria in the 24 sub-criteria of 3rd level was ranked claim rate, process defect rate, outsourcing parts defect rate, ability to quality management innovation, claim cost, etc.

  • 짧아진 제품의 주기, 고객의 다양한 제품선호 경향등에 대응하기 위해서, 제조업체들은 다품종 소량체제에 맞게 유연한 생산시스템을 갖추어야한다. 생산성과 유연성을 동시에 추구하고자하는 유연생산 시스템(Foexible Manufacturing System: FMA)의 도입에는 막대한 투자가 따르기 때문에 시스템의 가동률을 극대화하고 유휴시간( Nonproductive Time)을 최소화해야 단 기간내에 투자비를 상환할 수 있으므로, 생산시스템을 경제적 및 효율적으로 운용하는 것이 매우 중요하다. 한편 이산계 시뮬레이션(Discrete Event Simulation)기법은 시스템의 정적 및 동적인 거동 특성을 모델링하여 모의적 실험을 통해 시스템의 성능이나 특성을 예측할 수 있도록 개발된 유용한 해석 도구로서, 생산 시스템 설계 및 평가등의 분야에 이 기법을 적용한 연구가 매우 활발하게 이루어져 왔으며, 최근 FMS운용을 위한 생산계획, 일정계획등의 문제 해결에도 매우 중요한 해석도구로 인식되고 있다.

  • This study starts from interests on an endeavor of each economy unit, especially the enterprises, for the survival and sustainability of themselves. Competition, how to get it, maintain it and advance it! Agreeing the perceivedness of industries, scholars and public; what the core competition of manufacturer is an competitiveness of product, this study focuses on the PLM system as the key solution for obtaining the competitiveness of product with reviewing the contents and studies of PLM formulated. PLM is highlighted as the one of top tier ICT solution for the product development domain of manufacturing industry today. First of all, this study deals with the opinion of actual work-site and management of our small&medium business for the benefits of PLM based on product development; the impact on the performances of management, which is the key objective of the existence of enterprises. In conclusion, the answers for these questionnaires shows positive perception of actual work-sites and managers for the PLM system. They agree some useful effects on shortening the term and downsizing the cost of product development due to Data integration and Process management, even if they have not full confidence on the effectiveness of the individual functionality of the PLM system.
