  • Current is change to concept that management traffic of ship os magnified gradually to near shore waters from harbor. Therefore, introducing the technology of AIS in the ground station, lighthouse, bouy, sea facilities etc.. that is support equipment for safety sailing of ship and safety security of harbor and ship administration. The operation and maintenance of AIS for aids to navigation are required to efficient method. With this actuality, sea advanced nation of EU, USA, Japan that has been apply for developing AtoN AIS equipment that is connected equipment of technology standard in IALA. Because of it is expected to depend equipment in income, that is required to domestic technology of the AtoN AIS. This paper is targeted to development that is suitable automation AtoN AIS equipment in environmental peculiarity for constructor AtoN operating administration center. It has been realization send protocol for information interchange.

  • Recently, the Open-Development-Tool-Environment becomes a basic requirement of RTOS (Real Time Operating System) for embedded systems with restricted memory and CPU power in order to develop applications effectively. A remote interactive shell is one of the basic software components which makes users develop, test and control softwares without burdening target systems. In this paper, we have implemented the remote interactive shell with the following functions : loading object modules, spawning and manipulating tasks facilities thru a remote host. Comparing information reference methods with nonredundant overhead, we have achieved the system with easy maintenance. The shell has been developed with Q-PLUS RTOS under ARM EBSA285 target board and NT host.

  • SOA (Service-Oriented Architecture), which has become very popular recently, is a new paradigm for software development and application. In this paper, we propose an integrated architecture which is able to effectively manage and control a variety of services for U-City projects focusing on the importance of service integration. SOA has a number of important features such as loose coupling, standard bases, and distributed computing, all of which are the essential elements for merging and providing various services in U-City projects. We exploit the ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) for reflecting those features, which is a core module linking mutually heterogeneous components so that the communication of services can be implemented. In this paper, we discuss the necessity of SOA in U-City services and a possible scenario and method for the implementation. Finally, we propose an integrated architecture for the U-City Integration and Management Center.

  • In this paper, we present two types of vision algorithm that mobile robot has CCD camera. for obstacle avoidance and path plan. One is simple algorithm that compare with grey level from input images. Also, The mobile robot depend on image processing and move command from PC host. we has been studied self controlled mobile robot system with CCD camera. This system consists of TMS320F240 digital signal processor, step motor, RF module and CCD camera. we used wireless RF module for movable command transmitting between robot and host PC. This robot go straight until 95 percent filled screen from input image. And the robot recognizes obstacle about 95 percent filled something, so it could avoid the obstacle and conclude new path plan. Another is complex algorithm that image preprocessing by edge detection, converting, thresholding and image processing by labeling, segmentation, pixel density calculation.

  • Recently, due to the variety and complexity of marine electronics communication devices, much research has been done to adopt the novel communication protocol. Among them, NMEA2000 protocol, is adopted as standardized protocol to the next generation ship. In this paper, we design and implement the conversion algorithm for sensor protocol based on NMEA2000, and analog data module which convert data format between NMEA2000, CAN, Ethernet, RS232. The present study was designed to implement user-based data monitoring system by supporting various communication protocols through the development and application of key technologies through NMEA2000.

  • The demand of MOST interface module is increasing with car-multimedia network system. MOST devices consist of INIC part which controls MOST network and EHC part which is used by user. The efficient data communication between EHC and INIC demands implementation of a proper device driver. This paper presents a design method for I2C communication driver which is used for transmitting control messages between nodes of MOST network. For effetive I2C communication, we design driver with NetService API. For testing the experiment, we use the MOST audio interface deivce for porting driver sources and will develop various driver on MOST device based OS.

  • This paper performed the basic study for developing the Photodynamic Therapy Equipment for medical treatment. We developed the equipment palpating cell proliferation using a high brightness LED. This equipment was fabricated using a micro-controller and a high brightness LED, and designed to enable us to control light irradiation time, intensity, frequency and so on. Especially, to control the light irradiation frequency, FPGA was used, and to control the change of output value, TLC5941 was used. Control stage is divided into 30 step by program. Consequently, the current value could be controlled by the change of level in Continue Wave(CW) and Pulse Width Modulation(PWM), and the output of a high brightness LED could be controlled stage by stage.

  • Smart Jewelry is applied to the components of the Internet of Things. The process of obtaining the status information to the input of the sensor. And it controls the light color of the LED. Because to express the beauty of twinkling lights that can be felt in the jewelery and aesthetic functions were applied in order to feel the mystery. Smart Jewelry is capable of communication, interaction, wearable. Smart jewelery was equipped with a color, temperature, ambient light sensor. It was designed to allow interaction with a Bluetooth module. Applying an algorithm so that the light jewelry colors can vary depending on the circumstances of the smart jewelry wearer had been implemented by the mobile application. It can be realized in digital technology and the convergence of life. It presents the orientation development of the smart jewelery device on IoT environment.

  • Currently, the itemized box loading operation at the Agriculture Products Processing Center which distributes agricultural products for the region is carried out manually. The process of loading agricultural products requires great manpower and had been resolved through the part-time employment of the residents of farm villages. However, recently it has become quite difficult to secure manpower as the aging within the rural community has been intensified. Hence, the necessity for countermeasures such as facility automation or use of robots have become necessary. This study suggests an automatic robot system for the itemized loading of apple boxes at the Agriculture Products Processing Center. The suggested method is to design and develop equipment such as a conveyer, robot, and bar code reader. In addition, a sorting plan, operational control, generation of control information, and software module that could monitor the inside of the Agriculture Products Processing Center is needed. After test-operating and evaluating the developed system, the existing manual work would be replaced with the automated robot system in order to enhance work efficiency and resolve safety issues.

  • In October 2011, a commercialized 100kW class floating photovoltaic system positive plant was installed at Hapcheon dam a multi-purpose reservoir the first time ever in the nation. Floating photovoltaic system differs in water float, mooring device and underwater cable process from land photovoltaic system. As for land and building photovoltaic power generation equipments, many installation cases and skilled experiences are available, and thus installation is not difficult. However, commercial power generation floating photovoltaic system, which is attempted for the first time in the nation, requires to be designed and installed through a series of processes like technical review and verification of data by process in comparison with similar cases. The structure of floating photovoltaic system, an equipment for float photovoltaic module and other electrical equipment, is required to withstand weather environments like wind or typhoon etc and yet not affect water quality negatively, and for implementation of this system, construction efficiency and economy etc should be considered comprehensively. In this paper, the techniques of installing floating photovoltaic structure, mooring device, underwater cable, electrical equipment and remote monitoring control system are explained. The 100kW floating PV system is operating with 15% average capacity factor.
