Active Control Method of Heat-Duct Coupled Noise in a Cylindrical Combustor (원통형 연소기에서의 열-덕트 연성 소음의 능동 제어 연구)

  • Combustion instability by thermoacoustic feedback incite strong low frequency noise and vibration which damage the system and provoke the environmental problems. Therefore, it is necessary to control the thermoacoustic oscillation. In the way of controlling the instability, active control method using adaptive algorithm is applied. In this study, active noise control method using anti-sound technique is selected, whose principle is cancelling the noise with the addition of opposite phase sound. At first, simulation is performed to confirm the stability of controller, and after that control of combustion instability is carried out to get cancellation of 20-30dB SPL.

An experimental analysis of the sound reduction characteristics of air transparent noise barriers (통기형 방음벽의 음향감쇠 특성에 대한 실험적 분석)

  • The present study describes the acoustical characteristics of the new noise barriers which can control not only noise but also wind pressure by allowing air flow through barriers. In order to investigate the sound reduction index of the air transparent noise barrier, 17 models in total were examined with various size of openings and the volume of the resonators. As a result, it was found that the sound reduction index varies with the volume of the resonator and the area of the openings. Also, it was revealed that double layer of units has more sound reduction index than the single layer of unit at the frequency band from 400 Hz to 1250 Hz. This denoted that physical features of openings and resonators affect the sound reduction index of the air transparent noise barrier.

An Experimental Study on the Control of Duration time of Impulse Noise from a High Voltage COS Fuse (고전압 COS 퓨즈로부터 방사된 충격성 소음의 지속시간 제어에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • This study introduces the control of duration time of impulse noises emitted from a high voltage COS fuse of a transformer. When a high voltage COS fuse becomes a short circuit by the over current, the peak sound pressure level over 150 dB(A) is generated at the distance of 2m from a COS Fuse. For the purpose of the reduction of impulse noise, in this study, the reactive type silencer has been utilized. And also electrical interrupting test was experimented. From the experimental results, the reactive type silencer has been shown to have the noise reduction of about 13 dB(A). It has been found that the electrical interception performance of the COS fuse was related to the control of the duration time of impulse noise.

  • This paper relates to the electric braking, the permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control is suspended until the applied, and propose a new scheme by the controller in the observer to estimate the position and velocity using the Resolver speed detector. In addition, as a way to control the speed by braking torque at low speed, the pole of a stop just before the stop electrical braking. As a result, noise and dust abatement, consumption, reduction of the brake shoe increase the maintainability of comfort and energy use, enhances the effect of EMU performance improved sikyeoteum could see.

  • 본 개발의 목적은 연료전지차량에 탑재되는 연료전지 시스템에 장착될 공기공급기를 개발하는 것이었다. 개발된 공기공급기의 형태는 공급해야 할 공기의 유량과 압력 범위, 소음 및 향후 양산성 등을 고려하여 원심형 블로어를 선택하였으며, 차량 부하에 따른 공기공급량을 제어하기 위한 제어기도 적용되었다. 또한 차량에 적용될 경우, 예상되는 가혹한 사용환경에서 안정적인 성능을 발휘하고, 내구성을 할 수 있도록 설계되었으며, 특히, 외기온도 $45^{\circ}C$에서도 충분한 방열성능을 갖도록 모터 및 모터 방열구조를 설계하였다. 이를 위하여 공급되는 공기로 직접 모터를 냉각하는 개념을 적용하였다. 개발된 터보블로어의 응답성을 포함한 성능평가를 수행하였으며, 설계점에서 600시간 연속운전을 통하여 기본 내구평가를 완료하였다.

On-line Fundamental Frequency Tracking Method for Harmonic Signal and Application to ANC (조화신호의 실시간 기본 주파수 추종 방법과 능동소음제어에의 응용)

  • In this paper, a new indirect feedback active noise control (ANC) scheme based on the fundamental frequency estimation is proposed for systems with a harmonic noise. When reference signals necessary for feedforward ANC configuration is difficult to obtain, the conventional ANC algorithms for multi-tonal noise do not measure the reference signals but generate them with the estimated frequencies. However, the beating phenomena, in which certain frequency components of the noise vanish intermittently, may make the adaptive frequency estimation difficult. The confusion in the estimated frequencies due to the beating phenomena makes the generated reference signals worthless. The proposed algorithm consists of two parts. The first part is a reference generator using the fundamental frequency estimation and the second one is the conventional feedforward control. We propose the fundamental frequency estimation algorithm using decision rules, which is insensitive to the beating phenomena. In addition, the proposed fundamental frequency estimation algorithm has good tracking capability and lower variance of frequency estimation error than that of the conventional cascade ANF method. We are also able to control all interested modes of the noise, even which cannot be estimated by the conventional frequency estimation method because of the poor SIN ratio. We verify the performance of the proposed ANC method through simulations for the measured cabin noise of a passenger ship and the measured time-varying engine booming noise of a passenger vehicle.

  • A hybrid electromagnetic actuator with an air spring is designed so as to achieve the desired isolation reduce the vibration efficiency on the floor vibration. The performance specification of the hybrid electromagnetic actuator is determined based on the vibration criterion for vibration-sensitive equipment. In basic design stage of the electromagnetic actuator, the simple reluctance method is adapted to analyze magnetic circuits. The result is verified by finite element analysis using ANSYS Emag. Finally, some design parameters are optimized under several constraint conditions. Through this study, the design procedure for a specific electromagnetic actuator is set up using a simple reluctance method.

  • In this paper, we propose a linear modeling and identical PD controller design scheme for the three-pole hybrid-type AMB recently developed in the laboratory, which consists of three permanent magnets, providing bias flux, three Hall diodes, measuring rotor displacements, and ring type permanent magnet bearing, stabilizing in axial and tilting directions. Along the three physical coordinates formed by three poles, we introduce the redundant coordinate system and three identical decoupled controllers to construct linear model. The experiments are also carried out in order to verify the effectiveness of proposed controller in stabilizing the transient and steady state response of rotor.

  • EMI 필터 설계 시 주로 사용되는 공통모드 초크의 경우 자화 인덕턴스로부터 공통모드 노이즈 감쇠를, 누설 인덕턴스로부터 차동모드 노이즈 감쇠를 기대할 수 있다. 이때, 누설인덕턴스가 너무 클 경우 차동모드 노이즈 감쇠에는 우수하지만, 전기/전자제품이 슬림화됨에 따라 공통모드 초크의 누설 자속과 전원공급기를 덮고 있는 금속덮개 사이에 자계 간섭에 의한 진동/소음문제가 발생될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 누설자속을 조절할 수 있는 공통모드 초크의 코어형상 및 권선기법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법은 진동 및 소음을 제어할 수 있는 장점을 지니고 있다.

Vibration Control of Shear Wall-Frame System using Energy Dissipation Devices (에너지 소산형 감쇠기를 이용한 철근콘크리트 전단벽-골조 시스템의 진동제어)

  • In this study, the seismic control performance of energy dissipation devices installed in a shear all-frame structure is investigated through nonlinear time history analysis of a 12-story building. Inelastic shear walls are modeled using the multiple vertical line element model (MVLEM) and inelastic columns and girders were modeled using fiber beam elements. For a seismic load increased by 38% compared to the design load, the seismic control performance was analyzed based on the results of a nonlinear time history analysis in terms of the inter-story drift, the story shear and the flexural strain. Friction type dampers was found to performs best if they are installed in the form of a brace adjacent to the shear wall with the friction force of 15 % of the maximum story shear force induced in the original building structure without dampers.
