어머니의 정서표현과 아동의 기질 및 자아존중감이 정서조절능력에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Maternal Emotion Expression, Temperament and Self-Esteem on Emotion Regulation among Children)

  • The purpose of this study examined the path model of maternal emotional expression, temperament and self-esteem on emotion regulation among children. The subjects were 487 5th and 6th graders. Data was gathered through questionnaires reported by children and their mothers and analyzed by structural equation modeling. The results showed that children's 'activity level' temperament and maternal negative emotional expression directly affected maladaptive emotion regulation. Children's 'emotionality' temperament and maternal positive emotional expression directly affected adaptive emotion regulation. Children's 'approach-flexibility' temperament and self-esteem directly affected both maladaptive and adaptive emotion regulation. Maternal emotional expression and children's self-esteem mediated between children's temperament and emotion regulation. Additionally, the most important variable predicting children's maladaptive emotion regulation was the children's 'activity level' temperament, and the most important variable for adaptive emotion regulation was the children's 'emotionality' temperament.

부모의 정서표현성과 아동의 자기조절 능력과의 관계 (The Relationship Between Parents' Emotional Expressiveness and Children's Self-Regulation)

  • This research examined the relation between emotional expression of parents and self-regulation in children. The subjects were 116 3rd and 6th grade Sunday school children and their parents in 13 churches in Seoul and Kyunggi Province. Data were analyzed by the sex, age and self-regulation of the children and emotional expressiveness of the parents using two-way ANOVA and multiple regression analysis. Results were that mothers showed higher levels of emotional expression than fathers. Positive emotional expression of fathers was related to the self-regulation of sons but not daughters. Positive emotional expression of mothers was related to the self-regulation of daughters but not sons.

어머니의 양육행동과 학령기 아동의 정서조절 전략 및 정서조절 능력간의 관계 (Mothers' Parenting Behaviors and School-Aged Children's Strategies and Competence of Emotional Regulation)

  • In this study, the influence of mothers' parenting behaviors on children's strategies and competence of emotional regulation was examined. Further, the mediating effects of children's active-social support seeking and aggressive strategies on the above relationship were explored. The participants were W mother-child pairs. The children were 5th and 6th graders at two elementary schools in Kyunggi province and Kwangju metropolitan area The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, Pearson correlations, standard multiple regressions and structural equation modeling analysis by LISREL 8.3. The main results of this study were as follows: (1) The more the mothers coached children with affection and reasoning, the more adaptive emotional regulation the children had; whereas children tended to have maladaptive emotional regulation in response to the mothers' rejecting and forceful parenting behaviors. Also, when children were coached by mothers with love, reasoning and consistent restriction, they used more active-social support seeking strategies, whereas they used more aggressive strategies when the mothers coached children with rejecting and forceful parenting behaviors. The more the mothers were rejecting, forceful and intervening, the more the children used passive-avoidant strategies. (2) The more the children used active-social support seeking strategies and the less the children used aggressive strategies, the more likely they had adaptive emotional regulation. The more the children used aggressive strategies, the more likely they had maladaptive emotional regulation. (3) Children's active-social support seeking strategies played a partial mediating role between mothers' affectionate and reasoned coaching and children's adaptive emotional regulation. These strategies, on the other hand, played a full mediating role between mothers' consistent restriction and children's adaptive emotional regulation. Children's aggressive strategies played a partial mediating role between mothers' rejecting and forceful parenting behaviors and children's maladaptive emotional regulation. Mothers' non-intervention had an influence on neither the children's aggressive strategies nor their maladaptive emotional regulation.

분노하는 아동의 상담사례연구 (A Case Study on Child-Centered Play Therapy for Young Child's Anger)

  • 본 연구는 분노감정이 주된 정서조절 이슈의 5세 여아에 대한 아동중심놀이치료 이론을 근거로 한 아동상담 사례이다. 아동 분노의 빈도 및 강도로 인하여 유치원 적응 및 어머니의 양육에 어려움이 있었다. 아동상담은 Full Battery 심리검사 실시 후, 2021년 3월 29일부터 2022년 6월 15일까지 14개월 동안 주 1회씩 아동상담 40분 부모상담 10분의 총 47사례회가 진행되었다. 아동은 주도적인 놀이를 통해 상담사례회기 동안 공격성, 통제성, 애정 및 힘의 욕구를 나타냈으며, 상담실에서 안정감을 느끼며 정서조절능력의 향상이 관찰되었다. 아동은 부모에게 자신의 감정과 요구에 대한 언어와 행동적 표현능력의 향상을 나타내었고, 초등학교 입학 후 원만한 학교적응 양상을 보였다. 어머니는 아동양육이 전보다 편안하다고 보고하였다. 본 연구는 아동의 초등학교 입학 한해 전 14개월 동안 정서조절에 대하여 개입 한 상담사례연구의 결과로, 1학년 학기초 동안 적응적 학교생활양식을 확인한 연구로서도 의의가 있다.

간호대학생들의 내·외통제소재, 정서조절곤란 및 임상실습스트레스의 관계 (Relationship of Locus of Control, Difficulties in Emotion Regulation, and Clinical Practice Stress)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 내외통제성 정서조절곤란 및 임상실습스트레스와의 관계를 분석하고자 시도되었다. 연구대상자는 일개 대학 간호학과에 재학 중이며 본 연구의 목적을 이해하고 협조를 수락한 220명을 대상으로 하였으며, 연구설계는 횡단적 조사연구이다. 수집된 자료는 빈도, 백분율, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient 와 stepwise regression analysis를 사용하여 분석하였다. 그러므로 임상실습스트레스는 내 외통제소재과 정서조절곤란에 정적인 상관관계를 보였으며, 그 영향요인은 정서조절곤란, 실습만족도, 학년, 종교, 내 외통제소재으로 나타났으며, 그 설명력은 17%였다. 그 결과 간호대학생들의 임상실습스트레스를 줄이기 위해서는 정서를 적절하게 조절하고 내적 통제 전략을 통해 임상실습스트레스를 경감할 수 있는 효율적인 교육방안의 모색 및 임상 적응능력 향상 프로그램 개발이 필요하다.

초등학생들의 책임있는 의사결정능력 함양 방안 개발 (A Study on the Development of an Education Method for Children's Decision Making Skill)

  • 본 연구는 증가하는 초등학생의 반사회적 행동을 줄이고, 건강하고 행복한 삶을 살 수 있도록, 의사결정 및 문제해결 능력 함양의 이론적 기초를 탐색하고, 효과적인 실천적 방안을 모색하는 데 있다. 의사결정 및 문제 해결 능력은 교육의 중요한 목표로서 취급되어 왔으나 인지적 중심교육과 가치 규범 교육에 치중되거나 교실수업에 국한된 교육이 이루어져서 그 효과성이 문제되었다. 이에 본 연구는 정서지능 및 사회정서 학습을 이론적 기초로 하여, 의사결정에서의 정서의 인식과 조절의 중요성을 고려하며 실제 생활문제 해결을 위한 문제해결전략을 활용한 교육 방안을 제시하였다. 정서의 문화 특수적 성격을 고려하여 동양심리학과의 연계를 모색하여 우리 문화에 적합한 교육 방안이 되도록 하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 도덕과 교육과정에 통합하여 교육하여 독자적 프로그램이 갖는 단기성, 편협성을 극복하고자 하는 한편, 현행 학교교육에서 시행하는 의사결정교육의 문제점을 보완하여, 교육적 효과를 높이고자 하였다.

간호대학생의 대인관계능력 수준에 따른 대인관계능력에 대한 정서지능의 영향 (The Effect of Emotional Intelligence on Interpersonal Relation Competence according to Interpersonal Relation Competence in Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호대학생의 대인관계능력 수준에 따른 대인관계능력에 대한 정서지능의 영향을 파악하기 위하여 수행되었다. 연구 진행을 위해 2019년 11월 29일부터 12월 16일까지 B광역시 소재 일 대학교 간호학과 재학생 126명을 대상자로 자료수집 하였고 Anova, Regression 분석으로 자료분석을 하였다. 간호대학생들의 대인관계능력을 60점 미만과 60점 이상으로 분류하여 두 그룹별 정서지능의 영향요인을 살펴본 결과, 대인관계능력 평균 60점 미만 그룹에서는 간호대학생들의 자기감정표현, 타인조절요인이 유의한 정적 영향요인(설명력, 22.5%)으로 나타났고, 대인관계능력 평균 60이상 그룹에서는 자기감정표현, 동기화가 유의한 영향요인으로 나타났다(설명력 33.6%). 본 연구의 결과에 따라 간호대학생들의 대인관계능력 교육에 있어 그들의 대인관계능력 수준을 고려한 맞춤식 접근을 제안한다.

남녀 초등학생의 정서조절 능력과 학교적응간의 관계 (The Relationship Between Children's Emotion Regulation and School Adjustment as a Function of Child Sex)

  • This study examined the relationship between children's school adjustment and their emotion regulation. The subjects were 122 1st grade students selected from one elementary school in Incheon. Teachers rated each child using the Emotion Regulation Scale (Lee, 1997) and School Adjustment Scale (Chi & Jung, 2006). The data were analyzed by using descriptive statistics, t-test, correlation analysis, and stepwise regressions. The children's emotion regulation and school adjustment were differed by sex of the child. The girls were assessed to be better adapted in emotion regulation and school adjustment than the boys. The children's emotion regulation was positively related to the children's school adjustment. In addition, the children's emotion regulation predicted how well they would adjust to school life.

부부갈등과 유아의 기질 및 정서조절능력이 유아의 문제행동에 미치는 영향 (Problem Behavior of Preschool Children : The Influence of Marital Conflict and of Children's Temperament and Emotion Regulation)

  • In this study of the influence of marital conflict and of children's temperament and emotion regulation on problem behavior, 194 mothers of 3- to 5-year-old children responded to the O'Leary- Poter Scale(1980), the Emotionality, Activity and Shyness scale(Buss & Plomin, 1984) and the Emotion Regulation Checklist(Shields & Cicchetti, 1997); teachers rated children's behavior on the Problem Behavior Questionnaire(Behar & Stringfield, 1974). Data were analyzed by independent t-tests, correlations, and multiple regressions. Results demonstrated that shyness, activity, and emotion regulation had direct effects on hostile-aggressive behaviors. Shy temperament had a direct effect on fearful-anxious behavior. Both marital conflict and temperament influenced hostile-aggressive behaviors indirectly through emotion regulation, implying a crucial role of emotion regulation in preschoolers' social development.

어머니의 정서적 확대와 방임 및 아동의 자기조절능력이 아동의 우울성향에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Mother's Emotional Child Abuse and Neglect and of Child's Capacity for Self-Regulation on Child's Depressive Tendencies(DT))

  • The 612 4th- and 6th-grade subjects completed a self-administered questionnaire. Data were analyzed by t-test one- and two-way ANOVA, Pearson's r, and multiple regression analysis. Perceived mother's emotional abuse and neglect predicted child's depressive tendencies(DT). Abusive mothers were hostile and showed lack of concern for children's safety. Male children reported more neglect by mothers than female children. Younger mothers were more abusive. Higher maternal education was negatively related to neglect and positively related to lower DT. Mother's having a job was positively related to neglect. Mother's emotional abuse and neglect was the greatest predictor of child's self-regulation; children who experienced more emotional abuse had lower self-regulation capacity and higher DT. Self-regulation of male children was positively while that of female children was negatively correlated with age.
