The purpose of this study is to investigate the differences among mother's feeling expression, children's self-regulation, and children's peer competency by socio-demographic background and provide a basic material to develop the parents' education for mother's promosing emotional environment to help development of children by understanding the correlation among mother's feeling expression children's self-regulation, and children's peer competency. The research objects were 361 of 4 to 6-year-old children and their mothers. The tool adapted by Woo Sookyong(2002) was used for Mother's emotional expressivity, and the tool of Lee Jeongran(2003) for the of self regulation and the tool of park Joohee and Lee Eunhae for the children's peer competency. Data analysis was performed with population, percentage, t-test, Cronbach $\alpha$, F-test, and co-relation of LSD posteriori test. The summary of this study are as follows; First, the more negative expressivity was shown as mother's academic career was higher and the more positive one was appeared as family income was greater according to the background of socio-demography. Female children showed the higher self-regulation, and the self-decision and action control were greater as their age was higher. Children's peer competency was higher as they were social and friendly personality. Second, there was the strong relationship among the mother's feeling expressivity, children's self-regulation and peer competency one. Mother's positive expressivity had the relationship with children's self-regulation and peer competency one while weak expressivity had it with self-decision, regulation and children's peer competency. But the strong negative heartstrings' expressivity was an improper co-relation with action control and no relation with similar age competent ability. A definitive relation existed between all low level area except the emotion of self-regulation and children's peer competency. Form the above study, it was Known that there was the relationship among the mother's feeling expressivity, children's self-regulation and peer competency. In particular, there was strong relationship between positive and weak positive expressivity, and children's self-regulation and peer competency. These results could be reflected to parents' heartstrings education by knowing the impact of a positive emotional expressivity and weak-negative one.

The main purpose of this research is to examine the relation of variables related to the worker's stress symptoms and coping. The influence of emotional support(from family, colleague, and boss), self-efficacy (self-regulatory, social, relational, resiliency, and management of work), job-satisfaction, and job-performance on worker's stress symptoms and coping is analyzed. Participants were 559 teachers (elementary 205, junior high 203, senior high 151; male 132, female 427). The results were as follows: There were no significant differences in stress symptoms and coping among primary, junior and senior high school teachers. On the other hand, there were significant differences in stress symptoms and coping between male and female teachers. Female teachers experienced more stress symptoms than male teachers. At the same time female teachers coped more efficiently in stress situation than male teachers. With emotional support, self-efficacy, job-performance and job-satisfaction as independent variables, the result of multiple regression showed that job-satisfaction has a negative influence on stress symptoms. Positive influences on stress coping was found for resiliency of self-efficacy in case of male teachers, and in case of female teachers resiliency of self-efficacy, emotional support from colleague, job-performance, and emotional support from family. Therefore, regardless of the gender of the teachers, high job-satisfaction decreased stress symptoms and high resiliency of self-efficacy increased efficient stress coping. As for female teachers, not only resiliency of self-efficacy but also emotional support from colleague and family, job-performance contributed to coping with stress.

This study aims to prove the mediating effect of emotion dysregulation and perceived social support in the relationship between covert narcissism on the relation addiction. The researchers surveyed college students for about 3 weeks through a questionnaire on college campus or with the help of their colleagues and professors. The subjects were 362 students. SPSS, AMOS and Mplus were used for statistical analysis, correlation analysis and structural equation analysis. The conclusions are as follows : First, emotion dysregulation, relation addiction and covert narcissism showed positive correlation and covert narcissism, emotion dysregulation, relation addiction and perceived social support showed a significant negative correlation. Second, it was found that after investigating the mediation effect of emotion dysregulation and perceived social support in the influence between covert narcissism and relation addiction, emotion dysregulation turned out to have a significant mediating effect while perceived social support did not. Third, dual mediating effect was significant in emotion dysregulation and perceived social support in the influence between covert narcissism and relation addiction. These findings proved that covert narcissism, emotion dysregulation, perceived social support are variables that effect relation addiction, and also clarified that emotion dysregulation is a strong mediating variable in the influence between covert narcissism and relation addiction. Finally, when counseling a client with the same tendency as covert narcissism, it gives an opportunity to be aware of the emotional problem and an opportunity to positively perceive its own social resources, so as not to reach interpersonal problems such as relationship addiction pointed out the need for an approach.
In human and robot interaction, the role of emotion becomes more important Therefore, robots need the emotion expression mechanism similar to human. In this paper, we suggest a new emotion expression system based on the psychological studies and it consists of five affective elements, i.e., the emotion, the mood, the personality, the tendency, and the machine rhythm. Each element has somewhat peculiar influence on the emotion expression pattern change according to their characteristics. As a result, although robots were exposed to the same external stimuli, each robot can show a different emotion expression pattern. The proposed system may contribute to make a rather natural and human-friendly human-robot interaction and to promote more intimate relationships between people and robots.

During human development, rapid emotional growth develops in infancy, and emotional regulation affects positive emotional development. Therefore, it is important for infants to learn how to control their emotions in infancy. In this study, we propose music-based media content that can improve the emotional regulation ability of infants. In other words, this study suggests a projector-based interactive content that plays various musical instruments through movement of the body following the music on the basis of the Eurhythmics education. Children were asked to perform five instruments: bass, drums, tambourines, castanets, and maracas in their physical movements using their hands, arms, and legs, so that physical activity had a positive impact on the child's emotional regulation. This music - based interactive content is expected to provide an environment that can help improve the emotional regulation by concentrating the attention of children.
This study was to examine the differences of Korean and Chinese high school students on classroom goal structure(i.e., mastery, performance-approach, and performance-avoidance), help-seeking behavior(i.e., help-seeking, and help-seeking avoidance), and school engagement(i.e., behavioral, cognitive, and emotional), and to identify the mediating role of help-seeking behavior in the links between classroom goal structure and school engagement. The final samples consisted of 290 Korean and 294 Chinese students in high school. Results were as followed. Firstly, Chinese students had a higher classroom mastery goal structure, classroom performance-avoidance goal structure, help-seeking and emotional engagement than Korean students, whereas Korean students had a higher behavioral engagement than Chinese students. Secondly, for Korean students, help-seeking and help-seeking avoidance mediated between classroom mastery goal structure and school engagement. Moreover, for Korean students, help-seeking avoidance mediated between classroom performance-avoidance goal structure and school engagement. While, for Chinese students, help-seeking and help-seeking avoidance mediated between classroom performance-avoidance goal structure and school engagement. Also, for Chinese students, help-seeking avoidance mediated between classroom mastery goal structure and school engagement. Therefore, help-seeking should be promoted in order to improve students' school engagement, and classroom mastery goal structure need to be created in order to encourage students' help-seeking.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of help-seeking and concealment in the relationship between perfectionism, depression, and anxiety. The participants were 252 university students, and analyses were conducted using PASW 18.0 and Amos 8.0. Help-seeking was confirmed to be a mediating variable between self-oriented perfectionism, depression, and anxiety. That is, self-oriented perfectionism had an effect on depression and anxiety through help-seeking. Also, concealment was a partially mediating variable between socially prescribed perfectionism, depression, and anxiety. The need to develop counseling and education approaches as a special intervention is discussed. The approaches are meant to reduce socially prescribed perfectionism and concealment. Limitations and implications for further study are suggested.
The appropriate interpretation of social cues is a crucial ability for everyday life. While processing socially relevant information, beyond the low-level physical features of the stimuli to emotional information is known to influence human cognition in various stages, from early perception to later high-level cognition, such as working memory (WM). However, it remains unclear how the influence of each type of emotional information on cognitive processes changes in response to what has occurred in the processing stage. Past studies have largely adopted face stimuli to address this type of research question, but we used a unique class of socially relevant motion stimuli, called biological motion (BM), which depicts various human actions and emotions with moving dots to exhibit the effects of anger, happiness, and neutral emotion on task performance in perceptual and working memory. In this study, participants determined whether two BM stimuli, sequentially presented with a delay between them (WM task) or one immediately after the other (perceptual task), were identical. The perceptual task showed that discrimination accuracies for emotional stimuli (i.e., angry and happy) were lower than those for neutral stimuli, implying that emotional information has a negative impact on early perceptual processes. Alternatively, the results of the WM task showed that the accuracy drop as the interstimulus interval increased was actually lower in emotional BM conditions than in the neutral condition, which suggests that emotional information benefited maintenance. Moreover, anger and happiness had distinct impacts on the performance of perception and WM. Our findings have significance as we provide evidence for the interaction of type of emotion and information-processing stage.
