Factors affecting acceptance of travel information on Facebook (페이스북 여행정보 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구)

  • 오늘날 페이스북을 통해 접하는 여행정보는 블로그 유형의 SNS 여행정보와는 달리 정보의 출처, 정보 제공자의 정보가 불분명하여 이용자는 해당 정보를 수용하기 위해 보다 심층적인 판단이 요구되고 있으나 이에 대한 연구는 충분치 않은 상황이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이용자의 페이스북 여행정보 수용에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지 파악하고자 하였다. 먼저 선행연구 분석을 통해, 제공되는 정보의 내용적 특성(최신성, 풍부성, 정확성)과 정보제공자 특성(인기, 전문성), 정보수용(신뢰성, 유용성)을 중요한 요인으로 도출하였다. 이를 바탕으로 분석한 결과, 정보의 내용적 특성과 정보 제공자 특성 모두 페이스북 여행정보 수용에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 한편 세부적으로는 정보 내용적 특성 중 정확성이 신뢰성과 유용성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고 있었다. 그리고 정보 제공자 특성 중에서는 전문성이 신뢰성에, 인기가 유용성에 더 많은 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타나 블로그 유형의 SNS 여행정보 수용에 대한 연구 결과와 전반적으로 유사한 결과를 보였다.

  • 본 연구에서는 정보기술 혁신 제품이 출시되었을 때 소비자가 수용하는 과정에서 혁신 제품의 유용성 기대와 혁신제품에 대한 거부의 요인에 의해 사용의도가 형성된다는 관점에서 혁신 제품의 수용과정을 연구하였다. 휴대전화 사용자들 중 스마트폰을 사용하지 않는 소비자들을 대상으로 실증연구를 하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 정보기술 혁신제품에 대한 소비자의 유용성 기대는 사용의도에 정적(+)으로 영향을 미치고, 혁신 제품에 대한 거부감은 부적(+)으로 영향을 미치며, 유용성 기대는 거부감에 부적(-)으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 소비자의 혁신 제품에 대한 유용성 기대에 정적(+)으로 영향을 미치는 요인으로 사회적 요인이 있었고, 기존 제품에 대한 만족은 유용성 기대에 부적(-)으로 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 소비자의 혁신 제품 거부에 영향을 미치는 요인들로 소비자의 기존 제품에 대한 만족과 소요되는 노력 예상이 있었다. 이러한 연구결과들에 근거하여, 소비자가 정보기술 혁신 제품에 대해 유용성을 기대하더라도 거부감을 가지고 있다면 해당 제품을 사용할 의도를 갖지 않기 때문에 이에 대한 전략이 필요하다.

A Study on the Use Factor of the Cyber Home Learning Service (사이버 가정학습 활용 요인 분석 연구)

  • 본 연구는 초등학생들의 사이버 가정학습의 활용 요인들을 살펴봄으로써 학생들을 위한 공교육 서비스로서의 발전 방향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 자료 수집 시스템을 구축하였고, 정보기술수용모형과 관련연구들을 바탕으로 사이버 가정학습의 활용에 미칠 것으로 예상되는 변인들을 추출하였다. 연구 대상은 부산지역의 초등학생 201명이었고, 온라인 설문 시스템을 활용하여 응답결과를 요인분석과 회귀분석 방법을 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 (a) 에듀넷 사용에는 유용성, 미래사용의도 (b) 용이성에는 유용성, 인터넷 효능감, (c) 유용성에는 용이성, 주관적 판단, 재미가 유의미한 영향을 끼치는 것으로 나타났다.

Empirical Study on Internet Users' Information Privacy Concerns and Information Protection Behavior (인터넷 사용자의 정보프라이버시 염려와 정보보호 활동에 대한 실증연구)

  • This research aims to empirically explore the antecedents that could impact on internet users' information protection behavior. 282 of sample data collected from internet users was used to test the hypotheses. The results of this research reveal that the internet users' information privacy concerns has a significant impact on self-efficacy, perceived usefulness, and information protection behavior. In addition, we found that perceived usefulness and information protection behavior are significantly influenced by self-efficacy. However, contrary to expectations, perceived usefulness has no statistically significant effect on information protection behavior. These findings provide significant implications for online companies and internet uses as well as educational stakeholders that give educations about information protection.

An Analysis of Usefulness of Information Literacy Education for the over 50-years Older Adults in Daegu, Korea (대구지역 장노년층의 정보화교육 유용성 분석)

  • The aim of this study was to analyse the usefulness of information literacy education for the over 50-years older adults in Daegu, Korea. To achieve this objective, data were collected through the questionnaire survey and interview. Of the 311 valid data were categorized into two groups in accordance with their experience of information literacy education, and analysed using AMOS for the structural equation modeling. As the results, both groups showed that the information literacy education influences positively among in 'information convenience', in 'information usefulness' and in 'life satisfaction'. Also, regardless of their experience of information literacy education, the group revealed that 'information convenience' positively impacts on the 'life satisfaction', however, 'information usefulness' did not show any significant relationship with the 'life satisfaction' in this study.

A study on the method of measuring the usefulness of De-Identified Information using Personal Information

  • Although interest in de-identification measures for the safe use of personal information is growing at home and abroad, cases where de-identified information is re-identified through insufficient de-identification measures and inferences are occurring. In order to compensate for these problems and discover new technologies for de-identification measures, competitions to compete on the safety and usefulness of de-identified information are being held in Korea and Japan. This paper analyzes the safety and usefulness indicators used in these competitions, and proposes and verifies new indicators that can measure usefulness more efficiently. Although it was not possible to verify through a large population due to a significant shortage of experts in the fields of mathematics and statistics in the field of de-identification processing, very positive results could be derived for the necessity and validity of new indicators. In order to safely utilize the vast amount of public data in Korea as de-identified information, research on these usefulness metrics should be continuously conducted, and it is expected that more active research will proceed starting with this thesis.

Quality Evaluation of Library Catalogs: with an Emphasis on 'Utility' (유용성의 관점에서 본 도서관목록의 품질)

  • This study intends to analyze the utility of library catalogs from library users 'point of view. Emphasis was on verifying how useful library catalogs are as a tool in order to satisfy the information need of library users. To the end, this study developed the criteria and indicators that can be used to measure the utility of library catalogs from users' viewpoint. On the basis of it, the utility of library catalogs was measured systematically. Sample catalog records for the utility verification were selected from 6 most representative university libraries in Korea. The result of verification was presented and described with the typical examples, and the key factors that caused the low utility of library catalogs were a]so identified and discussed.

  • This study investigates to information medium and small enterprises and analyzed how enterprise's integration information system affects to business users. Many medium and small enterprises are introducing and operate new integrated system for latest several years, but it is suffering difficulty in substantial business analysis as unstable system, maintenance and insufficiency of management controls. Therefore, in this study, tried to analyze common problem and solution to enterprise which is operating integration information system stably. Designed study model and research hypothesis to variable of information level, system availability, information availability, information creation level, service availabilities for this analysis. This studγ got conclusion as following. First, If system usefulness, information usefulness, information creation level, service usefulness are high, Analysis result about user business performance appeared very positive effect. Second, Analyzed to which lack a little user realization about information level in details measured variable. This study will be able to become data that is useful in stable system introduction in various field of industry of medium and small enterprises hereafter.

Mediating Effects of Perceived Risk and Usefulness between Online Information Credibility and Intention to Use (온라인 정보의 신뢰성 및 정보 활용의도 사이의 지각된 위험과 유용성의 매개효과에 관한 연구)

  • Using the theory of attribution, this study investigates the determinants if controllability and explores underlying dimensions of online information credibility, and then investigates if the credibility of online information influences the users' intention to use the online information for evaluating or judging the involved products. Moreover, as a research attempt to investigate the impacts of online information credibility, this study examines whether the main effect of perceived online information credibility on the intention of using online information to make a decision of purchase is mediated by both perceived risk and perceived usefulness. A total of 287 survey forms were collected from online consumers. We examined reliability by exploring internal consistency of the multiple item scales in the overall sample. Convergent and discriminant validity were also examined for evidence of construct validity. Then, PLS technique was employed to test the research model. As a result of analyzing data from a dataset of 287 responses via PLS technique, it is found that (1) both sources (controllability and stability) of perceived credibility are significantly associated with both perceived risk and perceived usefulness, and (2) perceived risk as well as perceived usefulness partially mediate the link between the two sources of credibility and intention to use. The findings of this study also suggest that the two dimensions of online information credibility influence information recipient's intention to use. Moreover, the online information including descriptions about controllability and stability can trigger potential consumers to perceive risk about consumption of the informed products and services. Therefore, providing online information with highly described controllability and stability can increase not only the credibility of the online information itself, but also the intention to use the online information through perceived risk and usefulness.

Automatic Product Review Helpfulness Estimation based on Review Information Types (상품평의 정보 분류에 기반한 자동 상품평 유용성 평가)

  • Many available online product reviews for any given product makes it difficult for a consumer to locate the helpful reviews. The purpose of this study was to investigate automatic helpfulness evaluation of online product reviews according to review information types based on the target of information. The underlying assumption was that consumers find reviews containing specific information related to the product itself or the reliability of reviewers more helpful than peripheral information, such as shipping or customer service. Therefore, each sentence was categorized by given information types, which reduced the semantic space of review sentences. Subsequently, we extracted specific information from sentences by using a topic-based representation of the sentences and a clustering algorithm. Review ranking experiments indicated more effective results than other comparable approaches.
