The purpose of this study is to develop a faceted classification that enables the conceptualization and the organization of Korean food information. 23,470 terms were collected, categorized, and analyzed from the table of contents in 776 monographs and directory headings in portal sites related to Korean food. In order to develop the Korean food classification, common properties were analyzed in the process of categorizing terms. Then basic facets and subfacets were defined and assigned, and hierarchies among facets and concepts, citation orders, and notations were decided. As a result, the classification scheme consisted of 16 basic facets and 85 subfacets. The citation order of facets was proposed in order of Personality facet (kinds of dishes), Matter facet (materials, cooking utensils/equipment/containers, and nutrients), Energy facet (cooking processes and techniques, eating sense, type of cooking, table services, and agents of cooking), Space facet (countries/ethnic groups/geography, and eating places), Time facet (situation/purposes, season, time of meals, periods, and ages). The result of this study will be used for organizing, searching, retrieving, and providing Korean food information effectively around the world. Also, it will provide a foundation for developing subject-oriented classification using facet analysis in other disciplines.

For the construction of accurate scientific citation information, author disambiguation should be primarily resolved. This study proposes a method that utilizes URI(Uniform Resource Identifier) to create precise author citation networks. The adoption of URIs for representing authors and papers in this study enables us to maintain the integrity of constantly changing citation information and to guarantee the accessibility to the right literature. In experiments, we extracted 2,872 author-centric citation relation pairs from recent major IT-related proceedings written in Korean. From those, 135 citation network groups were discovered. The findings of this study are expected to be applied to a variety of researcher network services and scientific information portal services.

This study tried to develop the confidence indicators and evaluation factors of credibility according to the types of online information by nationwide large scale online survey. The main results are summarized as follows: i) confidence indicators by types of online information: information on news sites(72.553), financial companies(68.894), government sites(67.938), cafe(66.464), portal sites(65.001), collective intelligence sites(63.489), nonprofit organization (63.392), company/corporation sites(59.789), blog(59.066), online community sites(55.609), e-commerce sites(55.118), mini-homepage(50.695). ii) 'Widely known site' or 'famous site' is the most important factor for all types of online information. User opinions like as posting or comment are major factors for sites of cafe, blog, mini-homepage, online community, collective intelligence etc. and 'name recognition' and 'reputation' are main factors for site of financial company, corporation, government, nonprofit organization.

The production of cabbage, which is mainly cultivated in open field, varies greatly depending on weather conditions, and the price fluctuation is largely due to the presence of a substitute crop. Previous studies predicted the production of cabbage using actual weather data, but in this study, we predicted the wholesale price using unstructured agricultural meteorological data on the web. From January 2009 to October 2016, we collected documents including the cabbage on the portal site, and extracted keywords related to weather in the collected documents. We compared the forecast wholesale prices of simple models and unstructured agricultural weather models at the time of shipment. The simple model is AR model using only wholesale price, and the unstructured agricultural weather model is AR model using unstructured agricultural weather data additionally. As a result, the performance of unstructured agricultural weather model was has been found to be more accurate prediction ability.

In this study, the trend in green technology was observed and the domain of the green technology area that will be actively studied in the future was found by establishing knowledge map in green technology area and comparing and analyzing green technology information in Korea and overseas in time series. For the purpose of this study, network analysis was conducted for the keyword of green technology information provided by green technology information portal site (www.gtnet.go.kr) operated by Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information. Network analysis was conducted using keyword, and change of study subject was found by dividing the analysis result into periods. In the result of network analysis on top 100 keywords from total English keyword, it was found that renewable energy related areas such as solar energy and biomass had high centrality. When the main keyword trend by year was studied, centrality of solar cell, nanotechnology, smart grid, and fuel cell were found to increase, showing that research and development in generation and use of renewable energy are actively made.

According to develop the web technology, the data providers are trying to offer the efficient service for customers. Specially it is necessary to improve efficiency of the search function to help user access easily useful information their want. KISTI has introduced and customized the FAST search engine to improve search performance of the national science and technology information portal service system. But the design work for hardware and software implementation of search engine is important above all. In this paper, we discuss about the design and custormizing skill of FAST engine for the KISTI S&T information search service.

This study has examined the policy status of the specialized libraries and analyzed the status of curation services of libraries and similar institutions and portals, and proposed policy directions for the curation services provision of the specialized libraries. As for the results of this study, first, curation information is collected and selected through the participation of various curators, and the curation information is regularly updated on the websites and online gateways toward maximizing the perception of the book collections in place and the use of collections. Second, the scope of the specialized libraries' curation services are diversified, such as research support services, one-on-one customized curation services, and book curation. Third, digital curation services are constructed in connection with specialized themes. Fourth, beacon is installed inside, and based on the information received from the information forwarding media, individualized user services are provided via such data as the scope of movement of the users and the time entailed for dwelling in a space.

Currently, an implementation plan of administrative information dataset record management has been prepared; however, analyzing the specificity of various administrative information systems and preparing a reasonable level of management reference table by applying about 1.3% (EA portal registration system: 16,199, consulting system: 214) has its limitations. This study started by recognizing the importance of the records management environment in administrative information datasets. Based on the described information, the current records management environment was analyzed by dividing the six areas of the management reference table of the picture archiving and communication system (PACS) into three groups. Thus, a systematic environmental improvement model was proposed, enhancing the effectiveness of dataset records management in the field. Although there is a limitation in analyzing one of the dataset records management environments of various institutions, it is intended to help broaden the horizons of records management research.

The COVID-19 pandemic has significantly changed the landscape of knowledge and information services that public libraries around the world have been providing since modern times. In particular, as social distancing has become routine, the contraction of cultural activities and the shift to online platforms have negatively impacted library visitation and use services, greatly reducing borrowing and reading, use of spaces and facilities, interlibrary loan services, program operations, and outreach services. Therefore, this study investigated and analyzed the current status of services provided by public libraries in Korea and abroad in response to COVID-19, and proposed practical ways to improve and expand services in response to COVID-19 based on the results of a survey of librarians' perceptions. Specifically, these include improving the online reservation system for reading and borrowing services and developing and providing various outreach services, acquiring and expanding electronic resources, expanding online program services (reading, culture, lifelong learning, etc.), strengthening library services for vulnerable populations, providing information portal services related to new infectious diseases, strengthening facilities and space provision services, preparing infectious disease response guidelines, and providing education and training to strengthen librarians' capabilities.

Recently large amounts of customer information has leaked ranging from public institutions to the large-scale of portals, and similar information leakage incidents owing to the absence of personal information management have subsequently occurred. Therefore, the security infrastructure in which leakage of internal data can be blocked fundamentally is emerging as a key issue. An integrated identity and access management architecture which performs user access and its rights management, authentication and audit of the business systems is more important to improve the efficiency of business. In addition, this approach is emerging as a safe and effective ways for identity and access rights management. In this paper, we analyze how an integrated approach for identity and access management to improve the efficiency of the computational work and to strengthen the security in local government administration should be constructed, and proposed the preferred solution.
