전문가 체제 (Expert System: 이하 ES라 부름)란 회귀하고 값비싼 전문가의 지식과 경험을 체계화하여 콤퓨터에 기억시켜 둠으로써 전문가가 아닌 많은 사람들이 전문가를 만나지 않고서도 ES를 통하여 전문가의 능력을 빌릴 수 있도록 한 것이다. 전문가 체제는 오래전부터 콤퓨터 전문가들의 연구 분야였던 인공지능(Artificial Intelligence)을 그 모체로 하고 있으나 최근에는 경영정보체제(Management Information System)나 의사결정 지원체제 (Decision Support System)분야에 종사하는 분들의 ES에 대한 관심이 날로 증가하고 있다.(중략)

In navigation, officers receive data about inside and outside of ship from several devices(ex, GPS / AIS / ECDIS / ARPA Radar / etc) in bridge, and use it to recognize and predict safety situations. However, observation work of a officer is still hard for a torrent of data from several devices, and the problem of inconsistent data among the devices. In previous research, we presented the conceptual model of Intelligent Navigation Safety Information System based on information fusion, and showed the example of the conceptual model using CF (Certainty Factor) expert system to solve this problem. The information fusion technology needs various reasoning skills, and CF expert system is not enough to express ambiguous or indefinite factors. In this paper, we propose the concept of an intelligent navigation information fusion using fuzzy expert system to describe the ambiguous factors, and show the validity of applying fuzzy expert system to the Navigation Safety Information System through the design and implementation of the proposed concept.

This article investigates the roles the librarians can take under the rapidly changing information environment of 21st century, in order to maintain and develop the values as professionals continuously. It suggests six role models: 1) Information educator planning and implementing the user instructions in the libraries; 2) Information counselor providing humane services through counseling on reading and cooperations in research of the library users; 3) Information searcher searching and providing thc information rapidly and accurately to the users; 4) Information mediator evaluating the usefulness of the acquired information and even providing the consulting on information management; 5) Subject speaalist specialized in specific information services; 6) Cultural program planner planning and implementing the various cultural programs.

의료정보 교환을 위한 국제 표준인 HL7 메시지의 처리와 HL7의 다양한 버전 간 호환성 문제를 해결하기 위해 객체 지향적 구조에 기반한 HL7 파서(Parser)가 개발되었다. 그러나 개발된 파서를 의료정보시스템과 연동하여 사용하기 위해서는 의료분야 전문가와 소프트웨어 전문가의 협력이 필수적이다. 또한, 이들 전문가의 협업을 위해서는 각 분야의 전문지식에 대한 상호 이해가 전제되어야 하는데, 이를 위해서는 오랜 시간 상호간의 많은 노력이 필요한 과정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 버전 간 호환 가능한 HL7 파서를 기반으로 하여 HL7 메시지의 생성과 변환을 가능하게 하는 HL7 GUI 도구를 설계한다. 이를 통해, 컴퓨터 프로그래밍 언어에 익숙하지 않은 의료 분야의 전문가들도 HL7 GUI 도구를 통해 개념적으로 표현되는 그래프를 직접 디자인하여 의료정보시스템 간의 다양한 버전의 HL7 메시지를 처리하고 교환할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다.

본 연구는 여러 가지 데이터마이닝 기법으로부터 도출된 지식이 어떻게 인간의 판단에 영향을 미치는 가를 지식구조별, 자료특성별, 전문가지식의 일관성별로 실증적 연구를 하여 궁극적으로 전문가 의사결정에 도움이 되는 데이터마이닝 기법의 활용방안을 제시하고자 한다. 분석결과 전문가들의 판단은 데이터마이닝의 지식표현형태에 의한 영향을 많이 받고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 특히 IF-THEN의 형태로 표현되는 명제형 지식구조에 가장 많은 신뢰를 갖는 것으로 나타났다. 특히 자료의 특성, 또는 전문가의 판단 일관성과 데이터마이닝 기법 사이에 상호작용효과가 있어 향후 데이터마이닝 기법을 활용하여 전문가의 의사결정을 돕고자 할 때는 이러한 차이점을 고려해야 하는 것으로 밝혀졌다.

사출 성형의 초보자도 이용할 수 있으며 사출 성형기의 이력 관리를 할 수 있는, 플라스틱 사출 성형의 진단과 불량대책을 위한 지식 기반 전문가 시스템을 ATR-IM 이라는 범용 전문가시스템 쉘을 이용하여 구현하였다. 지식베이스(knowledge base)는 수지 회사와 관련 서적, 전문가의 경험을 토대로 구축하였으며, 구현된 시스템은 크게 사출 공정 조건 설정 시스템, 사출기 ID에 따른 이력 관리 시스템, 사출성형 불량진단 시스템의 세부분으로 나누어 구성하였다. 본 연구를 통해 제안된 방법에 따라 업체별 사출기 성능에서 오는 공정 조건값의 차이를 사출공정 조건값의 저장에 의해 고려할 수 있으며, 불량 해결에 대한 전문가시스템이 추론 순서 결정을 경험적 확률에 따라 이루어지도록 함으로써 현장에서의 작업 환경을 고려한 전문가시스템이 되도록 하였다.
