This study is concerned with the operational methods of Quality Management employed by the small and medium-sized companies in Gang won-do to improve their power of competition. This study is particular, studied the consortium-participating companies on their Plans of Quality Management as to how they carry them out in order to advance to the first-class business enterprises. The results of this study showed that the of shortage manpower and funds that the local small and mediumsized companies commonly face played a significant role as major obstacles in implementing their Quality Management programs. The study results also suggest that it is necessary to promote some periodic manpower train- ing programs in cooperation with local universities, to utilize professors and experts to build management strategies that can bring and secure the power of competition, and to construct a system of educational-industrial cooperation, as ways leading these companies to the 21s1 century's type of business enterprise.

디지털 홈 시대의 도약으로 가정용 TV의 기능과 그 역할이 확대되면서 Digital TV(DTV)가 새로운 가전기기의 하나로 등장하게 되었다. DTV를 통한 디지털 데이터 방송뿐 아니라 웹 컨텐츠의 다양한 활용이 가능하게 되면서 기존의 PC 환경과는 다른 DTV 환경에 적합한 새로운 컨텐츠 표현 규격이 필요해졌다. 이에 다수의 디지털 데이터 방송 표준 단체들이 DTV를 위한 디지털 데이터 방송용 컨텐츠 표현 규격을 제시하고 있고, DTV가 등장하기 이전부터 TV와 웹의 접목 기술을 위한 W3C의 활동도 있어왔다. 또한 양방향 TV 서비스 또는 웹 TV 서비스를 제공하는 방법으로 자체적인 컨텐츠 표현 규격을 정의하고 브라우저 등의 프로그램을 통해서 시청자들에게 TV에 특화된 다양한 웹 컨텐츠를 제공하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 현재까지 제시되어 온 DTV 또는 TV환경을 위한 컨텐츠 표현 규격들을 다양한 관점에서 비교 검토해보고자 한다. 또한 DTV가 가지는 특징들을 살펴봄으로써 TV와 다르고 또한 PC와도 다른 DTV만의 특성을 반영할 수 있는 컨텐츠 표현 방법을 제시하고자 한다. 이를 통해서 DTV 시장 활성화의 선두 위치에 있는 국내에서 DTV 용 컨텐츠의 표현 규격에 대한 보완 및 발전 방향을 숙고하고, 세계적으로도 앞서가는 인터넷 서비스 시장이 DTV를 통해서 안방에서 보다 효율적이고 간편한 방법으로 다양한 계층의 사용자에게로 확대될 수 있는 계기를 마련하고자 한다.

In this paper we discussed various types of electronic payment schemes that are emerging. Threats vary from malicious hackers attempting to crash a system, to threats to data or transaction integrity. An understanding of the various types of threats can assist a security manager in selecting appropriate cost-effective controls to protect valuable information resources. An overview of many of today's common threats presented in this paper will be useful to mangers studying their own threat environments with a view toward developing solutions specific to their organization. To ensure security on the Internet, several methods have been developed and deployed. They include authentication of users and servers, encryption, and data integrity. Transaction security is critical : without it, information transmitted over the Internet is susceptible to fraud and other misuse. So computer systems represents an Intermediary with the potential to access the flow of information between a user. Security is needed to ensure that intermediaries cannot eavesdrop on transactions, or copy/modify data. Online firms must take additional precautions to prevent security breaches. To protect consumer information, they must maintain physical security of their servers and control access to software passwords and private keys. Techniques such as secret and public-key encryption and digital signatures play a crucial role in developing consumer confidence in electronic commerce.

WebDAV is an IETF standard protocol which support asynchronous collaborative authoring on the Web. The recently published WebDAV Access Control Protocol provides various methods of controlling the resources on a WebDAV server and their properties, helping high-level group activities to be performed through the WebDAV server. Based on the WebDAV access control protocol, we developed Group Workspaces which support exchanging and/or sharing data among the group members. Any member of a Group Workspace can create and share resources among the members. Also, any member can add, change or delete the resources. To support the Group Workspaces, we developed a client application named GroupExplorer, which solely supports Group Workspaces. We constructed the server for Group Workspaces using Jakarta Slide - a WebDAV server supporting the WebDAV Access Control Protocol.

WebDAV is an IETF standard protocol which supports asynchronous collaborative authoring on the Web. The WebDAV Access Control Protocol provides various methods of controlling the resources on a WebDAV server and their properties, helping high-level group activities to be performed through the WebDAV server. In this paper, to provide high level collaboration, we introduce a technique for managing access control over WebDAV resources through the WebDAV Access Control Protocol and describe the development of an access control manager for the CoSlide Collaborative system based on the technique. To provide users with the access control features in an easily understandable manner, the developed technique presents the privileges for performing WebDAV methods instead of the standard privileges in the WebDAV Access Control Protocol. In addition, we present the facility for detecting conflicts between new access privileges on resources and old access privileges on them. We applied the method-based access control management technique to the CoSlide collaborative system. The developed access control manager enables us to create group workspaces with flexible access control strategies for group members and resources.

A white cane is used by many people who are blind or visually impaired. The studies and developments in the field of smart electronic white cane have been progressed to improve walking safety of the visually handicapped person. In this paper, we describe a situation-awareness white cane which support and guide walking of the visually handicapped person by giving information of surrounding situation through connection of a white cane and a mobile device. There are easily accessible buttons in the situation-awareness white cane. These buttons is connected with the mobile device by blue-tooth, so by pushing these buttons, the visually handicapped person can receive sound-guidance. As a result, the visually handicapped person can walk more safely by getting more information of situation.

Innovation is essential for the survival of a company in the fierce competitive environment of the global era of borders along with rapid technological development and changes from the environment. It is very important to secure your own competitive advantage. In this study, the relationship between internal R&D capability and organizational support as a company internal factor and external R&D capability, external knowledge search, and absorptive capability as a company external factor on performance was examined. As a result of the analysis, it was found that internal R&D capability, organizational support, and external knowledge search had a significant effect on absorptive capability, and innovation performance had a positive effect on new product performance. However, the mediating effect of absorptive capacity has not been verified, suggesting that absorptive capacity has a low correlation between innovation performance and new product performance, or that other important factors act between absorptive capacity and performance variables. The results of this study are expected to be utilized as useful guidelines when establishing R&D strategies in companies.

한국생명공학연구원 해외생물소재센터는 해외생물소재 확보 및 활용연구를 통하여 차세대 국가핵심전략 BT산업의 필수원자재인 생물소재의 범지구적 확보와 보존 관리의 임무를 수행하고 있다. 이를 위해 권역별 해외생물소재 공동연구센터(중국, 코스타리카, 인도네시아, 베트남) 및 37개국과의 국제협력 네트워크를 구축하고 있다. 세계적 수준의 생물소재 국가 인프라 구축을 목표로 국내 산 학 연 연구자들에게 다양한 해외생물소재 공급을 통한 지속 가능한 바이오 경제 기반 구축을 지원하고 있다. 해외생물소재센터에서는 2006년부터 특히 천연물 의약품 개발 분야에 많이 사용 되고 있는 해외 식물소재를 지속적으로 확보하고 있으며, 확보된 식물소재의 추출물 제조 및 추출물 은행을 구축, 이에 대한 생물활성 평가를 실시하며 연구자들에게 기초 자료로 제공하고 있다. 현재까지 총 36,500종의 해외식물소재를 확보하였으며, 추출물 약 320만점을 확보하였다. 확보된 소재의 분양활동을 통해 산 학 연 연구자들에게 180만여 점을 분양하였으며, 이를 활용한 다수의 논문과 특허를 획득하였고 중대형 기술이전을 실시하였다. 해외생물소재센터는 홈페이지 기반 분양 신청 시스템[https://www.ibmrc.re.kr]을 통하여 해외식물소재(Powder 와 Extact 형태) 분양서비스를 제공하고 있다. 또한 소재가치제고 연구를 통한 산업화 지원과 해외생물소재의 표본정보 서비스, 해외거점센터를 활용한 현지정보 제공 서비스를 지원하고 있다.

Interest in mountain accidents among the technical trends of disasters in Korea is increasing continuously. When accidents occur, the most common methods are location tracking and accident reporting using smartphones, and rescue activities are being carried out by using them. In this paper, we proposed an improvement of wireless safety system for mountain climbing safety using 447 FSK. Using the 447 MHz band transmitter / receiver, it accumulates position coordinates and data through position transmission and rescue signal transmission in case of anomalies. If a sender is out of the threshold of the set area range, a danger warning notification can be generated to quickly exit the danger zone. Provide services. In addition, it is considered that the health condition of the sender is continuously checked and the receiver is warned when the specified threshold is exceeded, so that it is possible to respond to the sender's disaster.

In this paper, we tried to explore factors influencing the diffusion of online events through SNS by analyzing the online footprint of consumers. To this end, log data of online events conducted by "C" beer brands were collected and analyzed. The analysis unit of log data was set for each one hour, and the analyzing method used descriptive and regression analysis. Results are as follows. First, factors influencing the diffusion of the view of SNS-based online events were like, friend used coupon, and friend size. In particular, the size of friends had the greatest impact on the diffusion, which again suggests the importance of social hubs in online events. Second, factors influencing the diffusion of the number of inflows were also like, friend used coupon, and size of friends. Third, it was found that the number of reply did not affect the diffusion of views and inflows. This study is meaningful that it suggested an alternative plan to increase the effect of online events by using real data.
