본 논문은 내용기반 이미지 검색을 위한 새로운 특징벡터 추출 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법은 주어진 이미지의 모양정보에 수학적 회귀를 적용하여 추출되는 특징벡터 양을 최소화하고 이를 이용하여 보다 정확한 내용검색이 이루어지도록 한다. 또한 제안된 기법은 실제 구현을 통한 여러 이미지 집합에 대한 실험 결과에서 기존의 기법보다 우수한 검색결과를 나타냄을 보인다.

Existing patterns and database search, string search unit search results for a lot of false positives, a simple search technique unreliable. In addition, the same conditions in addition to other search methods implemented due to wasted of resources and enforcement have been causing a waste of time. Therefore, regular expression and correlation analysis method by applying an integrated linkage information search module is to develop in this paper. From this, existing string search technique that has been noted as a problem by reducing the economic impact false positive and reliability to develop method that will information search secure.

The goal of this study is to generate a structured document which improves the performance of an information retrieval system by using thesaurus, information on relations between words (terms), and to study on the technique for searching this structured document. In order to accomplish this goal, we propose a DODI (Depth -Oriented Decomposition Index) technique for the structured document and an algorithm to search for related information efficient]y through this index technique that uses a thesaurus. We establish a storage system by which the structured document generated by this index technique is saved in a database through OpenXML and XML documents are generated through ForXML methods.

인터넷의 발전으로 많은 웹 기반 정보 검색 시스템의 구축은 사용자들에게 다양한 정보를 제공하고 있으나, 방대한 정보의 양을 사용자들은 효율적으로 이용하지 못하고 있다. 그러므로 본 논문에서는 웹 기반 정보 검색 시스템에서 의미에 따른 문서 검색 기법을 제공하기 위해 의미 링크에 대해 알아보고, 의미 링크를 이용한 웹 기반 정보 검색 시스템인 불교 문화재 답사시스템을 웹과 데이터베이스 연동 방식에 따라 분류하여 구현해 본다. 앞으로의 연구 방향은 일반적인 정보 검색 시스템에서 로봇을 통하여 데이터들의 의미를 파악함으로써 의미에 따른 검색 기법을 제공하는 것이다.

본 논문에서는 이미지 검색을 위한 새로운 검색 기법을 제시한다. 기존의 특징기반 검색 기법이나 주석기반 검색 기법은 특징이나 주석에 대하여 색인 형태나 질의 형태가 동일하였다. 그러나, 제안하는 검색 기법은 위의 두 전형적인 검색기법을 혼합한 것으로, 텍스트로 질의하면 질의 텍스트를 질의처리를 통해 텍스트에 포함된 특징용어를 추출하고 특징용어를 이미지가 본질적으로 가지는 특징(color, shape, texture)으로 변환한 다음 그 특징을 질의로 이용하여 특징기반 검색을 하는 기법이다. 이러한 기법은 현재 사용자에게 친숙한 텍스트 질의를 유지할 수 있게 해 주며 앞으로 음성인식을 통한 음성 질의인터페이스가 적용될 경우 더욱 효과적으로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

This study is to review information retrieval techniques of VOCED database. The VOCED database contains internationally relevant information on vocational and adult education, training and related subjects. The software used is CDS/ISIS and the records are indexed using the APSDEP Thesaurus. When searching the VOCED database, various types of search techniques can be used. Multiple word, phrase, boolean logic, term truncation, defind field, and proximity searching techniques or a mixture of all of them, make it possible to find exactly what you want in seconds.

The concept based retrieval model has shown a higher performance than those of the simple matching function method or the P-norm retrieval method introduced to compensate the demerits of the Boolean retrieval model. However. it takes too long to create a semantic-net knowledge base, which is essential in concept exploration. In order to solve such demerits. a method was sought out by creating a distributed knowledge base by subjects to reduce construction time without hindering the performance of retrieval.

초기의 비구조적인 피어-투-피어 방식은 플러딩(flooding) 방식의 검색 기법을 사용하는데, 이 기법은 통신비용이 매우 많이 소요되어 비효율적이다. 따라서 효율적인 검색 기법으로 임의 경로(random walk) 검색 방식이 제안되었다. 이 검색 기법은 메시지가 임의로 노드를 이동하기 때문에, 검색의 성공률이 낮다. 이를 보완하기 위하여 효율적인 복제기법이 요구된다. 현재 나와 있는 복제 기법은 여러 방법이 있으나, 모두 통신에 고비용을 요구한다. 따라서 복제 기법에서는 통신비용을 최소화하는 효율적인 복제 기법이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 캐시를 사용하여 직접적인 데이터 통신비용을 최대로 줄이는 한편, 복제를 질의가 많이 도착하는 곳에 위치시켜 검색률의 저하를 막고, 잘못된 캐시 관리 기법을 통해 동적인 환경에서도 잘못된 캐시로 인한 검색의 실패를 최소할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다.

질의 또는 문서에 대한 상이한 표현 방법 또는 상이한 검색 기법은 서로 다른 집합의 문서들을 검색함이 알려져 왔다. 최근 이러한 특성을 이용하여 다양한 표현 방법 또는 검색 기법을 결합함으로써 보다 높은 검색 효과를 얻을 수 있음이 입증되었다. 본 논문에서는 질의와 문서에 대한 하나의 표현과 하나의 검색 기법하에서 서로 다른 특성을 갖는 가중치 기법을 결합함으로써 보다 높은 검색 효과를 얻을 수 있음을 기술한다. 문서의 형태를 분류하고 가중치기법의 특성을 기술한 후, 이를 기반으로 하여 서로 다른 특성을 갖는 가중치 기법은 서로 다른 형태의 문서를 검색함을 설명한다. 또한 실험을 통하여 서로 다른 특성을 갖는 가중치 기법을 결합함으로써 보다 높은 검색 효과를 얻을 수 있음을 입증한다.

비디오 데이터는 미디어의 특성상 시간의 흐름에 따라 객체의 위치가 변하는 움직임 객체(Moving Object)를 가지며, 움직임 객체를 기반으로 비디오 데이트를 색인 및 검색하기 위해서는 적합한 시공간 표현 기법이 요구된다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 비디오 데이터가 지니는 움직임 객체의 움직임 경로(Trajectory)를 효율적으로 모델링하고 사용자에게 빠른 검색 결과를 제공할수 있는 근사 탐색(Approximation Search)이 가능한 새로운 시공간 표현 기법을 제안한다. 이는 사용자가 직접 스케치한 움직임 경로를 토대로 검색을 수행하는 내용 기반 검색과 움직임 객체의 일련의 움직임 경로들과 움직임 경로가 일어나는 위치 정보를 통해 얻어진 개념(의미)을 이용한 개념 기반 검색을 지원한다.
