최근, 소셜 미디어 공유 시스템의 사용자-참여형 아키텍쳐를 구성하는 핵심요소인 폭소노미에 기반하여 이미지를 공유하고 검색하고자 하는 다양한 시도들이 진행되고 있다. 그러나 폭소노미에 기반한 현재의 이미지 공유 시스템에서는 태그의 문법적, 의미적 모호성과 이미지에 대한 태그들의 중요성 또는 상관관계를 고려하지 않아 태그 기반 이미지 검색시 정확성 및 신뢰성을 보장할 수 없다. 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 태그간 의미관계를 이용한 이미지 태그 랭킹 기법을 활용하여 태그들을 이미지와의 관련정도에 따라 정렬하여 할당한 후, 이미지의 태그 순위를 고려하여 이미지와 질의어와의 관련성에 따라 효율적으로 이미지를 검색하기 위한 기법을 제안한다. 또한, 제안한 기법이 기존의 이미지 공유 시스템의 검색 결과보다 정확성을 높일 수 있음을 실험 예제를 통하여 확인하였다.

As the trend of the Web is changing toward 'Web 2.0', OpenAPIs, Web 2.0's core technology, are used in many web sites. In the past, services in websites are used in its own, but recently it is possible to use services in other websites by using OpenAPI. In u-GIS many vendors also can provide combined service by using OpenAPI. There are already lots of OpenAPIs and the numer of OpenAPI increases very fast. So it is difficult to find a service that we want to use, and also difficult to find services for mashup. In this paper, we developed retrieval methods for OpenAPIs and mashup capable services based on similarity. First we define the integrated service information model to cover various protocols of OpenAPI, then developed a retrieval methods based on it. By implementing system according these methods by using relational database and JSP, we prove that the system can provide an ranked result sets based on similarity, OpenAPI's integration retrieval results and mashup capable service retrieval results.

This study is to develop effective document ranking algorithms in the P-norm retrieval system which can be implemented to the Boolean retrieval system without major difficulties by using non-statistical term weights based on document structure. Also, it is to enhance the performance by introducing the rank adjustment process which rearranges the ranks of retrieved documents according to the similarity between the top ranked documents and the rest of them. Of the non-statistical term weight algorithms, this study uses field weight and term pair distance weight. In the rank adjustment process, five retrieval experiments were performed, ranging between the case of using one record for the similarity measurement and the case of using first five records. It is proved that non-statistical term weights are highly effective and the rank adjustment process enhance the performance further.

기하급수적으로 증가하는 데이터 중에서 개개인 사용자에게 적합한 정보를 추출하여 제공해야 할 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 대용량의 문서 집합으로부터 사용자가 원하는 특정 주제의 정보를 정확하게 추출해 낼 수 있는 문서 패턴 검색 방법을 제시한다. 사용자 선호도를 정확하게 반영할 수 있도록 전위 트리를 기반으로 사용자의 키워드 마이닝 프로파일을 생성하고, 이를 이용하여 문서 집합에서 매치된 패턴을 찾아내는 방법을 제안하였다. 생성된 프로파일을 이용한 검색 기법의 효용성을 실험을 통해 검증하였다.

주요 멀티미디어 자료인 이미지는 데이터 특성을 표현하기가 어렵고, 특성추출에서 얻은 데이터가 너무 고차원적이라 이를 저차원의 처리가능한 데이터로 변환하는 과정에서 많은 손실이 있다. 이미지의 특성값을 전체 이미지의 평균값으로 변경하여 저차원 데이터를 얻는 기존의 이미지 전체 특성추출기법이나 고정된 블록의 평균값으로 변경하여 저차원 데이터를 얻는 이미지 블록 특성추출기법은 유사 이미지의 검색이 부정확하다는 단점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이미지를 가변적인 영역으로 나누어 특성값을 얻고, 히스토그램을 이용하여 효율적으로 유사 이미지를 찾는 영역기반 유사 이미지 검색기법을 제안하고 이를 구현하였다.

웹에서의 검색 방법에는 크게 Text-Based 기법과 Link-Based 기법이 있다. 본 논문은 그 중에서 Link-Based 기법의 하나인 PageRank 알고리즘에 대해 연구 하고자 한다. 이 PageRank 알고리즘은 각 페이지의 중요성을 수치로 계산하는 방법이다. 하지만 이 알고리즘에서는 페이지에서 페이지로 링크를 따라갈 확률의 값을 일정하게 주어서 모든 페이지의 값을 획일적으로 계산하였기 때문에 각 페이지의 검색 효율성에 문제가 있다고 판단하여, 이를 해결하고자 본 논문은 페이지사이의 유사도를 측정하여 유사도에 따라 링크를 따라가는 확률 값인 Damping factor값을 다르게 부여하여 검색의 효율성을 높였다. 이를 위하여 두 가지 방법의 실험을 통하여 구현, 증명하였다.

In this paper, we propose a new spatio-temporal representation scheme which can model moving objets trajectories effectively in video data and a new signature-based access method for moving objects trajectories which can support efficient retrieval on user query based on moving objects trajectories. The proposed spatio-temporal representation scheme supports content-based retrieval based on moving objects trajectories and concept-based retrieval based on concepts(semantics) which are acquired through the location information of moving objects trajectories. Also, compared with the sequential search, our signature-based access method can improve retrieval performance by reducing a large number of disk accesses because it access disk using only retrieved candidate signatures after it first scans all signatures and performs filtering before accessing the data file. Finally, we show the experimental results that proposed scheme is superior to the Li and Shan's scheme in terns of both retrieval effectiveness and efficiency.

Due to the recent tremendous growth of internet information, RSS, syndication technology provides internet users with a user-friendly information search. RSS enables you to automatically receive newly updated contents, so users do not need to constantly access web sites to obtain new information. This paper proposes the way of managing the web crawler, which collects the sites of RSS documents and helps the users efficiently use the RSS documents. And it also suggests the proper way of ranking the RSS documents based on the users' popularity. Users can efficiently search out the documents they need by using the proposed information searching methods.

The recent development of multimedia content-based retrieval technologies brings great attention of musician retrieval using features of a digital audio data among music information retrieval technologies. But the indexing techniques for music databases have not been studied completely. In this paper, we present a musician retrieval technique for audio features using the space split methods in the time-series pattern index file. We use features of audio to retrieve the musician and a time-series pattern index file to search the candidate musicians. Experimental results show that the time-series pattern index file using the rotational split method is efficient for musician retrievals in the time-series pattern files.

웹 검색엔진은 정확률 향상을 위해 기존 검색시스템의 다양한 기법을 도입하고 있으며, 그 중 Excite, Webcrawler, Magellan 등은 적합성 피드백 기능을 적용한 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이 기능이 초기검색의 검색효율을 어느 정도 향상시켜 줄 수 있는지 실험하고, 그 결과를 바탕으로 적합성 피드백 기능 강화를 위한 제안을 하고자 한다.
