  • 지형의 표고값물 격자간격으로 표현하는 수치표고모델(DEM)은 지형분석을 위한 GIS데이터 활용과 휴대전화 중계안테나의 영향권 분석, 정밀지오이드 계산을 위한 지형효과계산 등 여러 가지 분야에 활용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 이렇게 활용성이 증가하고 있는 수치표고모델을 수집하고 또 진주시 지역을 대상으로 LiDAR촬영을 통한 LiDAR 수치표고모델을 구축하여 그 정확도를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구에 활용된 수치표고모델은 GTOPO30, SRTM-3, 지형도(1/50,000) 독취 DEM, 환경부 DEM, 항공사진에 의해 생성된 DEM, 그리고 LiDAR DEM의 6가지이며, 정확도 분석을 위해 GPS측량과 수준측량이 동시에 실시된 409점의 진주시 3차원 도시기준점 성과를 이용하였다.

  • In design stage of high precision manufacture/inspect ion FAB building, it is necessary to investigate the vibration allowable limits of high precision equipment and to study a structure dynamic characteristics of C/R and Sub-structure in order to provide a structure vibration environment to satisfy thess allowable limits. The aim of this study is to investigate the dynamic characteristics of PC-Type mock-up structures designed for next TFT LCD FAB through vibration measurement and analysis procedure, therefore, to provide a proper dynamic structure design for high precision manufacture/inspection work process, which satisfy thess allowable limits.

  • 최근 가상도시, 위치기반시스템 등 여러 분야에서 도심지역의 고해상도 DSM의 수요가 증가하고 있다. 고해상도 DSM을 획득하는데 항공 라이다 측량은 가장 효율적이고 경제적인 방법으로 인정받고 있다. 그러나 레이저 펄스는 도시건물의 모서리와 코너보다는 주로 표면에서 반사되기 때문에 일반적으로 라이다 DSM은 명확한 수직 breakline을 포함하기 힘들다. 이에 본 연구에서는 라이다 데이터와 항공영상의 결합을 통해서 고품질의 도시지역 DSM을 생성하는 새로운 방법을 제안하고자 한다. 제안된 방법은 (1) 서로 다른 두 센서에서 획득된 라이다 데이터와 영상의 기하 정합, (2) 라이다 데이터를 이용한 영상정합, (3) 영상정합을 통해 획득된 지상점과 라이다 데이터를 이용한 DSM 생성순으로 이루어진다. 영상 정합을 위한 지상점의 초기값으로 대상지의 평균고도를 높이로 사용하는 것이 아니라 라이다 데이터로부터 얻어진 높이를 사용한다면 영상 정합이 아주 정밀하게 이루어 질 수 있다. 이와 함께 정합된 영상으로부터 얻어진 지상점은 라이다 데이터 보다 더 높은 밀도를 갖게 된다. 따라서 DSM 생성을 위한 격자에 라이다 데이터와 영상정합의 결과로 얻어진 지상점 모두를 내삽에 이용하여 DSM을 생성하고자 한다.

  • We developed a noise reduction algorithm for the measurement accuracy improvement of a fiber-optic distributed temperaure sensor system. The denoising technique is based on the wavelet transform. The proposed algorithm was applied to a FBG sensor output with the Gaussian line-fitting algorithm to minimize the output noise which originated from the intensity noise of the laser light source and the instability of signal porcessing. We confirmed the feasibility of the denoising algorithm by comparing the measurement results with those obtained with the Gaussian line-fitting algorithm only.

  • The coupled time-integration method with a staggered algorithm based on computational structural dynamics (CSD), finite element method (FEM) and computational fluid dynamics (CFD) has been developed in order to demonstrate physical vibration phenomena due to dynamic aeroelastic excitations. Virtual flutter tests for the spanwise curved wing model have been effectively conducted using the present advanced computational methods with high speed parallel processing technique. In addition, the present system can simultaneously give a recorded data fie to generate virtual animation for the flutter safety test. The results for virtual flutter test are compared with the experimental data of wind tunnel test. It is shown from the results that the effect of spanwise curvature have a tendency to decrease the flutter dynamic pressure for the same flight condition.

Qualitative Analysis of Bleached Holographic Diffraction Grating (홀로그래피 위상형 회절격자의 정성적 해석)

  • With nonhardening fixer, dichromated bleacher and alcohol drying, the diffraction efficiency of over 71o/c has been achie'{ed for holographic phase gratings in silver halide emulsion. The swollen emulsion of Agfa 8E75 HD film is identified by scanning electron microscope (SEM) after chemical processing. Dichromated bleacher and rapid dehydration using alcohol drying make a strong modulation so that diffraction efficiency is. increased over 20%. The principal characteristic parameters in coupled wave theory are investigated and new modified parameter values are presented by computer simulation. Controlling the emulsion thickness has an important role as a potential source for high diffraction efficiency.ciency.

A study on Watershed Model for Predicting the Runoff Characteristics of Urban Area (도시 지역의 유출량 변화 예측을 위한 유역 모델 연구)

  • The SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) was applied to Princeton University campus, USA to predict the change of the runoff characteristics. Topography and infra structure of urban area are used in detail and watershed is made as form of regular square to improve the efficiency of data. Princeton campus was divided into 131 sub-basins and model input parameters were obtained from DEM (Digital Elevation Model), land use type, and campus management map, etc.. The model was validated based on the measured meteorological data. The validated model was used to analyze the change of the runoff characteristics according to urbanization, which are two different scenarios: 50% and 100% increase of impervious area. The increase of impervious area causes the increase of runoff, especially in the first-flush.

Collimation testing of a white light beam and measurement of chromatic aberration of a lens by using vernier Moire fringe patterns (버니어 무아레 무늬를 이용한 백색광의 시준 검사 및 렌즈의 색수차 측정)

  • The new collimation testing technique of a white light beam using vernier Moire fringes of two line or circular gratings with different pitches is presented. We can visually measure the defocusing ($\Deltaf$), the divergence angle ($\theta$), and the longitudinal chromatic aberration $(L_{ch})$ of a collimating lens by using the technique. For example, we obtained $\Deltaf$= 21.9 mm and $\theta=0.0038^{\circ}$ for a testing lens with the focallengthf = 120.0 mm and F-number of F/2.4. The longitudinal chromatic aberration $L_{ch}$ of another testing lens withf = 65.0 mm, F/1.6, and the Abbe number V = 64.1 for the incident wavelengths of $\lambda_1=480 nm and \lambda_2=640 nm$ is easily measured by same technique. It is found that the measured value $L_{ch}=1.59mm(\pm0.01mm)$ is well agreed with $L_{ch}=1.58mm(\pm0.01mm)$ obtained by the autofocus method.

Investigation of the Behavior of Lateral Load Distribution of Railway PSC Girder Bridges (철도 PSC빔교의 하중횡분배 거동에 관한 고찰)

  • This paper presents results from the theoretical analysis of the lateral load distribution for a railway bridge designed with PSC girders which is one of most popular types of bridge in Korea. Typically, 3 sets of intermediate cross beams within a span have been installed for lateral load distribution. In this paper, the effect on the lateral load distribution by the number of intermediate cross beams were examined by both simple grillage analysis and finite element method. This study showed that at least, one set of cross beams at midspan should be needed to ensure the proper load distribution. However, the effect of cross beams on the load distribution becomes not significant though more than one set of cross beams are installed. Therefore, only one set of cross beans at midspan is recommended for constructibility and economic efficiency.

Generating Curved Lines in a Windows based Navigation Mesh (윈도우 기반 네비게이션 메쉬에서 곡선 생성 기법)

  • In this paper, methods are proposed for creating a curved line in a navigation mesh, which is used in a windows based virtual reality or games. The main geographies used in a windows based virtual reality or games are created by using either grids or navigation meshes. When using grids, it is difficult to create a natural geography. Multiple grids are needed to ensure precise descriptions, which can result in system overload. A navigation mesh was developed to address this issue since the navigation mesh has the benefit of placing fewer loads on the system than a grid method. The drawback, however, is that the movements of character in navigation mesh are less natural. In this paper, a method for creating a curved line using round curves is proposed in order to resolve this issue. Using the methods for creating a curved line proposed in this paper in a windows based virtual reality or games will eliminate the unnatural or awkward movement of characters that arises in the use of a navigation mesh.
