이 논문에서는 Gadolinia, Erbia, IFBA를 비교평가 대상 독물질로 선정하여, 영광 3/4호기 노심을 대상으로 주기길이별 독봉장전노심을 구성하여 노심핵특성인자들을 비교평가하였다. 주기길이측면에서 Gd 장전노심과 IFBA 장전노심이 비슷하게 예측되었으며 Erbia 장전노심이 약 10∼13일 정도 작게 예측되었다. 냉각재 온도계수 측면에서는 Erbia 장전노심의 타 독물질 장전노심에 비해 우수하게 평가되었다. 최대 Fr 인자 측면에서는 Erbia 장전노심과 IFBA 장전노심이 거의 비슷한 수준에서 우수하게 평가되었으며 Gd 장전노심은 이 측면에서 취약한 것으로 평가되었다.

본 논문에서는 GCM(Google Cloud Messaging) 서비스를 활용한 영단어 암기용 스마트폰 어플리케이션을 개발하였다. 서버에 있는 영단어 데이터베이스에서 스마트폰으로 영단어를 주기적으로 출력하여 사용자가 영단어에 자연스럽게 노출될 수 있는 어플리케이션을 개발하였다. 추가적으로 잠금 화면을 영단어와 뜻을 매칭 시켜 해제시키는 시스템을 구축함으로써 영단어를 더욱 더 효과적으로 암기할 수 있는 환경을 제공한다. 현재 안드로이드 마켓에서 제공되고 있는 영단어 암기 어플리케이션과 달리 개발한 어플리케이션은 한 번 설정 후 직접 실행할 필요가 없도록 한다.

The incidence of aseptic meningitis infection is ensuing and threatening the health of children. Enteroviruses are the major agents of aseptic meningitis and identification of virus has been a clue to diagnosis and epidemiology. The outbreak of aseptic meningitis occurred in Pusan, 1998. Patients were concentrated from April through November. Children were more susceptible than adults. Among 306 cases of specimens from stool, throat swab tested, only 7.2% were positive on virus isolation, 12 cases from stool and 10 from throat, respectively. All isolated 7 serotypes of viruses represented cytopathic effect on cultured cells. Three types of echovirus 6.25, 30 and coxsackievirus B2, B3, B4, B6 were identified by neutralizing antibody test. Isolated coxsackievirus and echovirus were observed by an electron microscope with negative staining.

Net outflow flux and unit load of pollutants were investigated at a paddy fields area(Soro-ri) with large-scaled plots on loam soil during irrigation seasons of $2001\~2003$. Water samples were collected, and inflow and outflow were .measured at $5\~10$ day intervals during non-storm periods and at $2\~6$ hours intervals during storm events. The average concentration of TP in percolated water was much smaller than that in irrigation and surface outflow water likely due to phosphorus absorption capacity of paddy soils. Net outflow flux in study area was significantly correlated with rainfall and surface outflow discharge. Nutrient flux from Paddy fields can be abated by reduction in outflow surface discharge.

The cooling effect of paddy fields was compared with those of other land-use areas (upland, urban park, and urban residential area) during midsummer. The temperature were monitored using data logger at one hour intervals in study sites. Diurnal temperature range of study areas in clear days was larger than in cloudy days. Also, diurnal temperature ranges in paddy field, upland, and park areas were larger than those in the urban residential area during clear days. The paddy field or upland area has shown more remarkable cooling effect compared to urban residential areas: Mean duration of temperature below $25^{\circ}C$ in the paddy field area is longer(7 to 8 hours) than in the residential area; The time to fall to below $25^{\circ}C$ in the paddy field area is sooner than in the residential area; Mean daily minimum temperature in the paddy field area is much lower than in the residential area.
