Calculation of the Attached-Piping-Material Rate for the Building Mechanical-Service System in Office Buildings (사무소 건축물의 건축기계설비 배관 부속자재 요율 산출)

  • Currently, in comparison with other architectural estimations, the estimation work regarding building mechanical-service systems is time-consuming, and the process is continuously becoming more difficult because of the increased usage of the attached piping materials such as fittings and hangings in addition to their complicated construction processes. To improve this problem, the Korean authority provides a simple estimation method for the attached-material rate regarding the main piping material, which is the most time-consuming work in the architectural-mechanical estimation. However, to be an applicable method on construction sites, a proper conversion rate of the attached-piping material is still required for the proposed method regarding building usage and working types. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the calculation of the rate of the attached-piping materials such as the fittings and supports through the building of the mechanical-service work types of mechanical rooms, air conditioning, domestic water and hot-water supplies, and the drain-, vent-, and gas-piping work in office buildings that have been designed after 2010.

  • In generally, the estimation work regarding building mechanical service system in comparison with other architectural estimations is time-consuming, and the process is continuously getting more difficult because of the increased usage of the attached piping materials such as fittings and supports in addition to their complicated construction processes. In order to improve this problem, the Korean authority provides a simple method to estimate the attached material rate regarding the main piping material, which is the most time-consuming work in the architectural mechanical estimation. However, to be an applicable method on construction site, a proper conversion rate of the attached piping material is still required for the proposed method regarding building usage and working types. Therefore, the purpose of this research is the suggestion of the material and labor cost rate of the attached piping materials such as the fittings and supports by work types and fitting methods of indoor fire, sprinkler, and extinguishing gas piping work of mechanical fire protection facilities in office buildings that have been designed after 2010.

A study on the electrical characteristics of CdZnS/CdTe heterojunction (CdZnS/CdTe 이종접합의 전기적 특성에 관한 연구)

  • A CdS film has been used as a window layer in CdTe and Cu(In,Ga)$Se_2$ thin films solar cell. Partial substitution of Zn for Cd increases the photocurrent and the open-circuit voltage by providing a match in the electron affinities of the two materials and the higher band gap. In this paper, CdZnS/CdTe and CdS/CdTe heterojunctions were fabricated and the electrical characteristics were investigated. Current-voltage-temperature measurements showed that the current transport for CdS/CdTe heterojunction was controlled by both tunneling and interface recombination. However, CdZnS/CdTe heterojunction displayed different current transport mechanism with the operating temperature. For above room temperature, the current transport of device was generation/recombination in the depletion region and was the leakage current and/or tunneling in the range below room temperature.

  • Dopamine (DA) is an important neurotransmitter molecule of catecholamines. Its deficiency could lead to brain disorder such as Parkinson's disease and schizophrenia. Therefore, it is necessary to establish a suitable analytical technique with sensitivity and simplicity. A competitive enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay for DA has been optimized and characterized. Assay sensitivity is controlled by two factors in competitive immunoassay. One is a nature and concentration of competitor, and the other is those of binder, antibody. Thus, optimization was performed: BSA-DA conjugate and antibody-avidin conjugate were prepared by dual heterobifunctional coupling method using SATA and SMCC. Assay condition was optimized with $6.66\;{\mu}gmL^{-1}$ of BSA-DA and $4.17{\times}10^{-10}\;M$ of antibody-avidin conjugate. A dose-response curve was constructed, and a limit of detection and a dynamic range for DA were accomplished to $2.3{\times}10^{-2}\;{\mu}g\;mL^{-1}$ and four orders of magnitude ($1.0{\times}10^{-7}\;M$ to $1.0{\times}10^{-3}\;M$), respectively. Calibration curve was constructed on dynamic range and least-squares regression of this data gave the following relationship: absorbance = -0.1098 log[DA]+0.0353 ($R^2$ = 0.9956).

  • Abstract-Si direct bonding(SDB) technology is very attractive for both Si-on-insulator(SOI) electric devices and MEMS applications because of its stress free structure and stability. This paper presents on pre-bonding according to HF pre-treatment conditions in Si wafer direct bonding. The characteristics of bonded sample were measured under different bonding conditions of HF concentration, and applied pressure. The bonding strength was evaluated by tensile strength method. The bonded interface and the void were analyzed by using SEM and IR camera, respectively. Components existed in the interlayer were analysed by using FT-lR. The bond strength depends on the HF pre-treatment condition before pre-bonding (Min : 2.4kgf/cm$^2$∼Max : 14.9kgf/cm$^2$).

  • Characteristics of the interface between tube and tube sheet which were formed by explosive expansion and roll expansion, have been studied in the research. The results are as follows: Optimum amounts of explosives for the expansion of Alloy 600 (19.05mm and 15.88mm) were found to be RDX 3.5-8.5g/m. Because explosive expansion caused les strain hardening and increased bounding strength, characteristics of the explosively expanded were better than those of mechanically expanded. As the transition region of the explosive expansion is inactive, the resistance to the stress corrosion cracking increases by 30∼40% compared to the roll and hydraulic expansion.

  • 본 논문은 광 검출을 이용한 전기화학발광 (Electrochemiluminescence : ECL)을 마이크로시스템에 적용하여 소형화하였으며, 기존 광 검출 시스템과 결과를 비교하여 그 특성을 분석하였다. ECL은 전기에너지를 촉매로 사용하기 때문에 화학발광 보다 마이크로채널 내에서 발생하는 층류문제를 해결할 수 있는 적합한 방법이다. 유리기판에 Au를 박막으로 증착하여 전극으로 사용하였으며, SU-8 구조물을 이용한 PDMS mold를 사용하여 마이크로채널을 제작하였다. 전극과 PDMS는 $O_2$ 플라즈마를 이용하여 접합하였다. luminol과 과산화수소는 Syringe pump로 구동하였으며, 발생된 빛은 반도체 공정기술로 제작한 P-N접합 포토다이오드를 이용하여 전류신호로 측정하였다. 새로 구성된 시스템을 이용하여 마이크로채널 내에서의 luminol과 과산화수소의 유속, 농도변화에 따른 광전류 변화를 측정하여 기존시스템과 비교하였다.

Science Technology - 점 빼는 레이저로 문화재 복원한다

  • 우리 주변에는 세월의 무게를 견디지 못하고 나날이 훼손되어 가는 문화재가 많다. 온도변화에 따른 팽창계수의 차이나 풍화작용 등으로 유물 일부가 떨어져 나가고, 표면의 균열 부분으로 물이 스며들면서 얼어붙었던 부분이 녹아 구조 불균형이 발생하기도 한다. 또 산성비나 대기오염과 같은 환경오염으로 산화 문제가 발생하는가 하면, 비둘기 등 조류 배설물이나 세균류 지의류 이끼류 같은 생물학적 요인으로 파손되기도 한다. 종교나 예술 활동에 따른 인위적인 훼손(반달리즘, Vandalism)도 일어난다. 자연재해로 어쩔 수 없이 사라지는 문화재도 있다. 불에 타 한 줌의 재로 변한 양양의 낙산사가 그 대표적인 예다. 낙산사는 8년 7개월의 복원 작업을 거쳐 되살아났다. 그래도 '낙산사'하면 '불'이 먼저 떠오르는 것은 천년고찰의 화재가 우리에게 상처로 남아 있기 때문이 아닐까. 한편 어렵게 발굴했지만 이미 때를 놓쳐 위기에 처한 소중한 문화재도 있다. 2009년에 발굴된 전북 익산시 미륵사지 석탑의 사리장엄구(사리를 봉안하는 일체의 장치)에 들어 있던 유리병은, 오랜 세월 공기 속의 수분이 풍화작용을 일으켜 두께가 얇아진 데다 0.04mm라는 수백 개의 미세한 조각으로 부서져 복원이 어려운 상태이다. 워낙 두께가 얇아진 탓에 살짝만 압력을 받아도 부서지기 쉬워 접합 자체가 불가능하다.
