In-vitro Hertzian Fatigue Behavior of Zirconia/Alumina Composites (지르코니아/알루미나 복합체의 In-vitro Hertzian 피로거동)

  • The degree of the indentation damage and strength degradation for 3Y-TZP ceramics and (Y,Nb)-TZP/$Al_2O_3$ dental implant composites was investigated under the Hertzian cyclic fatigue. Fatigue tests were conducted at contact loads of 500 to 3000 N and up to $10^6$ cycles in exact in vitro environments. At 500 N, no strength degradation and crack generation was observed up to $5{\times}10^5$ contact cycles. Fatigue properties of 3Y-TZP ceramics was superior to (Y,Nb)-TZP/ㅍ composites due to stress relief caused by the phase transformation from tettagonal to monoclinic phase. As contact load increased, the drastic reduction in strength was found when the damage transition from ring to radial crack occurred. The extent of strength degradation was more pronounced in vitro environments probably due to chemical corrosion of artificial saliva through cracks introduced during large numbers of contacts.

  • The use of smartphones and the launch of various apps have increased exponentially, and malicious apps have also increased. Existing app recommendation systems have been limited to operate based on static information analysis such as ratings, comments, and popularity categories of other users who are online. In this paper, we first propose a robust app recommendation system that realistically uses dynamic information of apps actually used in smartphone and considers static information and dynamic information at the same time. In other words, this paper proposes a robust Android app recommendation system by partially reflecting the time of the app, the frequency of use of the app, the interaction between the app and the app, and the number of contact with the Android kernel. As a result of the performance evaluation, the proposed method proved to be a robust and efficient app recommendation system.

Message Delivery Techniques using Group Intimacy Information among Nodes in Opportunistic Networks (기회주의적 네트워크에서 노드의 그룹 친밀성 정보를 이용한 메시지 전달 기법)

  • In opportunistic networks, each message is delivered to the destination by repeating, storing, carrying, and forwarding the message. Recently, with the vitalization of social networks, a large number of existing articles have shown performance improvement when delivering the message and considering its social relational networks. However, these works only deliver messages when they find nodes, assuming that every node cooperates with each other unconditionally. Moreover, they only consider the number of short-term contacts and local social relations, but have not considered each node's average relation with the destination node. In this paper, we propose novel message sending techniques for opportunistic networks using nodes' social network characteristics. In this scheme, each message is delivered to the destination node with fewer copies by delivering it mostly through nodes that have high intimacy with the destination node. We are showing that our proposed scheme presents a 20% performance increase compared to existing schemes.

A Study on Broadband Inductive Coupler using Impregnated Nanocrystalline Ribbon (함침된 나노결정립 리본을 이용한 광대역 유도형 결합기 연구)

  • Ferrite cores are used as a soft magnetic material in the fabrication of couplers for inductive powerline communication (PLC). However, it is difficult to adjust the size freely according to the power-line and power-grid environment. In this paper, we report that a nano-crystalline alloy with higher permeability than ferrite can be used as an inductive coupler for non-contact PLC. Since nano-crystalline are produced in the form of a thin ribbon, the size of the coupler can be freely controlled by the number of ribbons wound on the toroidal core. It was fabricated with induction type coupler and showed to be suitable for non-contact power line communication. Experimental results show that the communication bandwidth is 45 Mbps for 100 m and 8 Mbps for 200 m under the current fluctuation of less than 100 A, and the reception ratio is 100%.

  • This research focused on the aging society and the silver industry in adolescents. This subjects were the 642 high school students living in Gwangju. Data were analyzed with Frequency, Percentage, Mean, Std, $x^2$, and t-test using SPSS/PC WIN 14.0 program. The major findings were as follows: 1. The attitude to the old was found quite positive in the questioning items concerning the psychological aspects and family relationship. In the questioning items concerning the physical aspect, on the other hand, was the attitude shown a little negative. Most respondents didn't have a clear understanding of the aging society. Also the perception toward the old showed significant difference according to meeting frequency with grand-parents. The knowledge of the aging society showed significant difference according to sex. 2. Although they recognized the need of the silver industry, they didn't wish to have a job related to the silver industry. Also they represented the idea that the medical care service is the most essential for the silver industry showed significant difference according to sex. The selection of job related to the silver industry showed significant difference according to meeting frequency with grand-parents. 3. Most of the respondents were aware of the need to education for understanding of the old. In the course of home economics, the education of the silver industry should be given vocation and comprehension about the old. The need to education for understanding of the old showed significant difference according to sex, experience of living and meeting frequency with grand-parents. The education of the silver industry showed significant difference according to sex, experience of living with grand-parents.

Cognition and Practice of Standard Precautions towards Hospital Infection Control in Emergency Medical Technology Students (응급구조학과 학생의 병원감염관리 표준지침의 인지와 수행에 관한 연구)

  • The aim of the study is to investigate the awareness and practice of Standard Precautions towards Hospital Infection Control in Emergency medical technology students. Data were collected from 289 questionnaires from March 20, 2012 to April 25, 2012. The data were analyzed using SPSS 18.0 for window(SPSS Inc, USA) with the level of significance as 0.05. According to the results, significant differences were shown in gender, infection control education and infection control educational institutions. The factors influencing the practice of standard precautions were found to be the times of the contact to blood, body fluid, mucus, or the skin with lesions and the cognition of standard precautions. Cognition level of the EMT students was high but the practice level was low. Based on the results of this study, it is proposed to develop an effective educational program to improve the cognition and practice, and to improve the cognition and practice of the standard precaution through the systematic and repetitive education and training.

Development of a Prototype Automatic Sorting System for Dried Oak Mushrooms (건표고 자동선별을 위한 시작시스템 개발)

  • 한국과 일본의 경우 건표고를 외관의 품질상태 에 따라 12등급에서 16등급으로 구분하고 있다. 그리고 등급판정 작업은 임의로 추출한 샘플을 대상으로 전문 감정가에 의해 수작업으로 수행되고 있다. 건표고의 품질을 결정짓는 외관의 품질인자들은 갓과 내피에 고루 분포하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 컴퓨터 영상처리 시스템에 의거하여 개발한 건표고 자동 등급판정 및 선별 시작시스템의 구조와 기능 그리고 성능에 대하여 설명하였다. 개발한 시작시스템은 표고의 이송과 취급자동화를 위한 진동이송기, 반전장치, 컨베이어 이송장치와 두 세트의 컴퓨터 영상처리 시스템, 그리고 시스템 통괄제어를 위한 IBM PC AT호환 컴퓨터, 디지털 입출력 보드, 전공압실린더 구동제어를 위한 PLC등으로 구성하였다. 등급판정의 효율성 및 실시간 작업시스템을 고려하여 건표고의 등급판정은 두 세트의 컴퓨터 영상처리 시스템을 이용하여 이송되는 건표고의 갓 또는 내피 중 어디가 위를 향하는 지에 따라 두 단계에 걸쳐 독립적으로 판정을 수행하도록 하였다. 첫 번째 영상처리부에서는 갓표면 영상으로부터 4등급의 고품질 표고를 분류하며 두 번째 영상처리부에서는 내피표면 영상으로부터 중간 및 저품질 표고를 8개의 등급으로 분류한다. 실시간 영상정보처리를 목적으로 기존에 개발한 신경회로망을 이용한 등급판정 알고리즘을 시작시스템에 적용하였다. 개발한 시작기는 88% 이상의 등급판정 정확도를 보여 주었으며, 전공압시스템의 구동제약으로 인하여 표고 1개당 약0.7초의 선별시간이 소요되었다. 일조 선별라인의 경우 본 연구에서 제안한 시작기의 선별능력은 표고가 일차 처리부로 갓이 위로 올라와 있는 상태로 계속 공급된다면 시간당 대략 5,000여 개의 표고를 처리할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.보강하여 가능하면 B-Pillar의 Middle이 Bending type collapse을 방지하여 Pelvis와 Door가 먼저 접촉하는 방법 등이 적용가능하다. 제작하기 이전에 설계된 부품에 대한 스프링 상수 및 내구특성을 체계적으로 규명하여 제품 시험의 횟수를 줄이고, 보다 정밀한 제품을 제작할 수 있도록 하기 위한 것이다.세포수는 초기 배반포기배에서 팽윤 배반포기배로 진행됨에 따라 두배에서 세배 정도 증가되었음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, differential labelling과 bisbenzimide기법에서 얻어진 각각의 총세포수를 비교하였을 때 총세포수는 발달의 진행 정도에 따라 증가되며 그와 동시에 동일한 군 간의 세포수도 거의 유사함을 알 수 있었다. 따라서, ICM과 TE를 differential labelling하는 기법은 수정란의 quality를 평가하는데 매우 유용한 기법으로서 착상전 embryo 발달을 연구하는데 효과적으로 이용될 수 있다는 것을 시사한다. 고도의 유의차를 나타낸 반면 비수구, 초생수로구 및 Bromegrass 목초구 간에는 아무런 유의차가 인정되지 않았다. 7. 농지보전 처리구인 배수구와 초생수로구는 비처리구에 비해 낮은 침두 유출량과 낮은 토양유실량을 나타내었다.구보다 14% 절감되는 것으로 나타났다.작용하는 것으로 사료된다.된다.정량 분석한 결과이다. 시편의 조성은 33.6 at% U, 66.4 at% O의 결과를 얻었다. 산화물 핵연료의 표면 관찰 및 정량 분석 시험시 시편 표면을 전도성 물질로 증착시키지 않고, Silver Paint 에 시편을 접착하는 방법으로도 만족한 시험 결과를 얻을 수 있었다.째, 회복기 중에 일어나는 입자들의 유입은 자기폭풍의 지속시간을 연장시키는 경향을 보이며 큰

A Study on the Management of Micropollutants in Water System Considering Climate Change and other Potential Effects (기후변화 등 잠재적 영향을 고려한 수중 미량오염물질의 관리방향 연구)

  • In this study, the management polices of micropollutants (MPs) were reviewed and the future management strategy was discussed considering climate change and etc. In Korea, the investigation of drinking water has been actively carried out for the priority contaminants as well as MPs. Recently river and lake waters have been also examined for MPs. However, the coverage and depth of the investigation is limited. Moreover, climate change is likely to increase air & water temperature and it will affect the hydrological cycle. Such changes may increase the residual concentrations of MPs in water system. As water reuse increases, the residual MPs of the recycled water may create public concerns. Thus, in a viewpoint of the precautionary principle, more stringent management of MPs is recommended for the drinking water and the body-contact water use. For the surface water, more studies are necessary to understand the ecological risk by MPs.

Convergence Education Effect of Donning and Doffing Personal Protective Equipment for Non-medical Personnel to the New Infectious Disease (신종감염병 대응 비의료인 전담요원 개인보호구 착탈의 융합 교육 효과)

  • Objectives: This study was attempted to confirm the convergence education effect of donning and doffing Personal Protective Equipment(PPE) for Non-medical Personnel. Method: Three training sessions in 2018 were conducted for 28 dedicated staff who met Level D personal protective equipment. After the training, the scores of PPE donning and doffing were collected. Friedman and Wilcoxon's Signed-Ranks Tests were performed. Results: As the number of training increased, the score of doffing PPE increased significantly. And the differences by frequency, the score of the donning PPE was significantly increased in the 3rd rather than the 1st. However, the score of doff was increased in the first to third cases, but it was not significant. Conclusion: The results of this study found that the effect of doffing PPE education was relatively lower than that of donning practice. so the increase in the number of training sessions or the periodic training is important.

Design and Implementation of CW Radar-based Human Activity Recognition System (CW 레이다 기반 사람 행동 인식 시스템 설계 및 구현)

  • Continuous wave (CW) Doppler radar has the advantage of being able to solve the privacy problem unlike camera and obtains signals in a non-contact manner. Therefore, this paper proposes a human activity recognition (HAR) system using CW Doppler radar, and presents the hardware design and implementation results for acceleration. CW Doppler radar measures signals for continuous operation of human. In order to obtain a single motion spectrogram from continuous signals, an algorithm for counting the number of movements is proposed. In addition, in order to minimize the computational complexity and memory usage, binarized neural network (BNN) was used to classify human motions, and the accuracy of 94% was shown. To accelerate the complex operations of BNN, the FPGA-based BNN accelerator was designed and implemented. The proposed HAR system was implemented using 7,673 logics, 12,105 registers, 10,211 combinational ALUTs, and 18.7 Kb of block memory. As a result of performance evaluation, the operation speed was improved by 99.97% compared to the software implementation.
