Pupil Data Measurement and Social Emotion Inference Technology by using Smart Glasses (스마트 글래스를 활용한 동공 데이터 수집과 사회감성 추정 기술)

  • 본 연구에서는 적외선 카메라 기반의 비접촉식 측정 방법을 이용하여 동공 반응 데이터를 수집하여 공감의 사회감성을 객관적이고 정량적으로 추정하는데 그 목적이 있다. 실험에는 10명(남 6명, 여 4명, M ± SD = 24.17 ± 2.16세)의 피험자가 참여하였다. 30초의 참조 데이터 측정 후, 공감 유무에 따라 과제는 얼굴 표정 모방 과제와 얼굴 표정 자발적 표현 과제로 구분되어 두 사람은 표정으로 상호작용하였고, 2번씩 반복 진행하며 적외선 카메라를 통해 동공을 촬영하였다. 이진화 및 원형 윤곽선 검출법의 영상처리를 활용하여 동공 데이터를 수집하였고, 이동 평균 기법을 활용해 눈깜빡임 노이즈를 제거하고 동공 크기 개인차로 데이터 표준화를 진행하였다. 공감 유무에 따른 동공 크기 데이터는 정규성 검증 및 독립표본 t검정을 통해 통계적 유의성을 확인하였다. 분석결과, 공감하는 경우(M ± SD = 0.508 ± 1.278)와 공감하지 않은 경우(M ± SD = 1.681 ± 0.968) 동공 크기가 통계적으로 유의미한 차이를 보였다(t(18) = -2.313, p = 0.033). 판별분석을 통해 동공 크기에 따른 공감의 유무를 추정하는 규칙을 정의하였다. 본 연구에서 제안한 동공 크기 데이터를 이용한 공감의 사회감성 추정 기술은 비접촉식 카메라 기반의 기술로 스마트 글래스와 접목되어 다양한 분야에 활용도가 높을 것으로 기대된다.

A correlation between bruxism and eccentric occlusal interferences (이갈이와 편심위 교합간섭의 상관관계 분석)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to analyze correlation between bruxism and occlusal contacts on balancing side. Materials and Methods: The purpose of this study is to compare the difference of group function and balancing side occlusal contacts according to bruxism and sex, A total of 100 adults that aged 26-37 years (39 bruxers and 61 non-bruxers) were examined. The lateral excursion and balanced occlusal contacts were analyzed to determine the correlation with bruxism. The occlusal contacts were recorded by T-Scan system and articulating paper. Results: The group function was the highest in 61.5% of bruxers and 47.5% of non-bruxers. In comparison between males and females, group function was 58.9% in males and 37.0% in females. Occlusal contacts on non-working side occurred in 48 out of 100 patients. There were 51.2% of the cases in the bruxers and 46.0% in the non-bruxers. Statistically, there was no correlation between the bruxism and occlusal contacts on non-working side. There was no correlation between sex and balancing occlusal contacts. Conclusion: There was no significant correlation between bruxism and occlusal contacts on non-working side. The group function was the highest in bruxers when lateral excursion was occurred.

  • Oil spills cause a lot of damage to the environment. Oil destroys the water environment and ecosystem in a very short period of time once they are contaminated by it, it takes a lot of time to recover from the contamination and the cleaning process is very difficult. Therefore, oil detectors are greatly needed as they can monitor any oil spills over the sea, rivers, and lakes. There are two kinds of technology available for detecting oil, viz. the contact and non-contact types. The former is based on the use of the conductivity, capacitance and microwaves, while the latter employs infrared, UV, laser, optic and radar technologies. As there are also various hurdles in the measuring of oil on water, such as the presence of waves, refraction of light, temperature and saltiness, it is imperative to select the right oil detector which is appropriate for the specific environment. In this study, a contact type oil detector is developed, which can be used in oil related industries, such as refineries, petrochemical companies, and power generation stations. The detector is made up of the sensor module, which floats on the water, and the controller which processes the signal coming from the sensor module and displays it. It is designed in such a way that the existence of oil is detected through the sensor and the change in the permittivity is observed to determine the volume and type of spilled oil.

  • 최근 선정적이고 폭력적인 뉴스 기사 제목의 여과 없는 노출로 인하여 유해한 언어 접촉이 빈번히 이루어지고 있다. 자극적인 단어에 지속적으로 노출되는 것은 인지 능력에 부정적 영향을 주는 것으로 알려져 있다. 따라서 이를 사전에 판별하여 정보를 수용하는 것이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 KoBERT를 기반으로 한국어 뉴스 기사 제목에서 선정성과 폭력성을 검출하고자 한다. 학습을 위한 뉴스 기사 제목들은 인터넷에서 무작위로 총 9,500개의 데이터를 크롤링 하여 수집하였고, 모델의 말단에 NLNet을 추가하여 문장 전체의 관계를 학습했다. 그 결과 선정성 및 폭력성을 약 89%의 정확도로 검출하였다.

  • Graphics processing units (GPUs) are ideal for solving problems involving parallel data computations. In this study, the GPU is used for effectively carrying out a multi-body dynamic simulation with particle dynamics. The Hilber-Hushes-Taylor (HHT) implicit integration algorithm is used to solve the integral equations. For detecting collisions among particles, the spatial subdivision algorithm and discrete-element methods (DEM) are employed. The developed program is verified by comparing its results with those of ADAMS. The numerical efficiencies of the serial program using the CPU and the parallel program using the GPU are compared in terms of the number of particles, and it is observed that when the number of particles is greater, more computing time is saved by using the GPU. In the present example, when the number of particles is 1,300, the computational speed of the parallel analysis program is about 5 times faster than that of the serial analysis program.

  • This paper is composed of a passenger management system using a temperature sensing module, a PIR sensor module for detecting movement inside a room, and a smart breath sensing module for determining a sleeping state. An embedded sensor module and a communication system integrated the sensing part and the algorithm driving part. As the aging society is accelerating and becoming more upgraded, the social cost of Silver Care increases, and in order to protect privacy, it is necessary to reduce costs by developing efficient smart silver care devices. The proposed non - image human body detection IOT sensor system is implemented by hardware and software and has superior performance compared with conventional image monitoring method.

  • The objective of this research is to develop a measurement instrument for service recovery quality in the Internet commerce setting. To this same end, Parasuraman et al.(2005) have devised a scale called E-RecS-QUAL, which we revised and supplemented to develop another instrument named eSR-Q. To guarantee its reliability and validity, this instrument went through the refinement and validation processes for internal consistency and construct validity in terms of convergent, discriminant, and nomological validity. Our final scale consists of four dimensions including responsiveness, compensation, contact, and apologies altogether with fourteen measures. Overall, this research deals with the related research background, the scale development and validation processes, its limitations, and future research directions.

  • The authenticity of bank note is threatened by increasing a counterfeit note with development of the information industry, recently. The importance of counterfeit discrimination is stressed, but there is a limits to popularization. Because usually, the existing counterfeit discriminator uses invisible ray zone like UV, IR, etc. The purpose of this paper is the construction of counterfeit discrimination system for \50,000 won bills. This system is used optical fiber sensor with excellent confidence as well as easy way of using in wave length of a visible ray zone. The light was altered by lightening optical fiber sensor to particular part of bank notes in order displacing response of optical fiber sensor. The experiment was processed with data of 100 bank notes on manufacture optical fiber, probe, jig. As a result, the discrimination conuterfeit was verified when the experiment was processing with hologram or CSI on the bank notes with three kinds of color printer.

Optimal Duration of Determining the Insecticidal Effect of Carbofuran on Nilaparvata lugens Using Different Application Methods (카보퓨란 처리 방법 별 벼멸구에 대한 살충 효과 판별 최적 시기)

  • For determining the insecticidal effect of Carbofuran on the Brown planthopper, Nilaparvata lugens, sucking toxicity by drenching application, sucking and contact toxicity by leaf dipping application, and contact toxicity by topical application were examined. Drenching caused two types of mortality patterns. One was logarithmic curve at a relatively high concentration (8~30 ppm) with over 40% mortality in 24 h, and the other was an S-shaped curve at low concentrations (1~4 ppm) with over 60% mortality on the fifth day after Carbofuran treatment. Leaf dipping application caused a rapid increase in mortality in a day, and this effect decreased steadily with time. Topical application showed steep increase in mortality in a day, and hardly increased thereafter. The best mortality evaluation time for the drenching application was the second day (42 h), and that for the leaf dipping and topical applications was the first or second day after Carbofuran application. When the insecticide has systemic effects, drench application provides the best efficacy and its insecticidal effects persist for a longer time than any other application method.
