The optical feedforward is known as a complicated technique in spite of its superior linearization. Here we optimized the feedforward circuit parameters using a systematic approach for optimum efficiency. A systematic approach was verified by transmission experiments of 2.14 GHz two tones. The compared third order IMD was enhanced by 38 dB for two-tone case. The experimental results for transmission of W-CDMA signals were described. The ACPR was enhanced by 20 dB for 1 W-CDMA carrier and by 16 dB for 3 W-CDMA carriers. Also, noise level was reduced by 7 dB.

Although the use of kiosks is increasing recently, the digital divide for the elderly who uses them is not decreasing. We live in an environment where the use of kiosks is becoming a necessity rather than an option. In such an environment, the digital alienation of the elderly is becoming a problem directly related to the quality of life. Even if a kiosk is developed considering the elderly, the verification of its effectiveness is ambiguous, or in most cases, it depends on the designer's experiential ability rather than the consideration of usability. In this study, the usability of the kiosk was analyzed for the development of kiosk contents for the elderly. The metrics were defined as availability, usefulness, efficiency, attractiveness, and visibility. And the measurement method of the measurement index was developed, and the usability of the kiosk for the elderly was confirmed by performing usability evaluation. This is a method to verify whether the kiosk in the development process can support the elderly or whether the improved kiosk actually increases the usability of the elderly. As a result, it is expected to contribute to improving the accessibility of the kiosk.

그리드 기반 대규모 신약후보물질탐색환경에서는 (1) 대규모의 도킹 작업을 그리드 상에 제출한 후 이들을 지속적으로 관리하고, (2) 실행된 각 작업들은 동시에 그리드 스토리지 및 메타데이터 카탈로그 서비스에 접근한다. 우리는 위의 두 부분에서 성능의 개선이 필요함을 발견하였다. (1)의 과정에서 제출된 작업의 상태 정보를 얻기 위해 그리드 스케쥴러를 사용하던 기존의 방식은 대규모 작업 제출에 의한 부하 문제로 정확한 정보를 신속하게 얻는 데 어려움이 있어 제출된 작업의 효율성이 떨어지는 문제가 있었다. 그리고 (2)의 과정에서는 동시에 실행된 대규모 작업들의 접근 요청이 그리드 스토리지 및 메타데이터 카탈로그 서비스에 집중되면서 이로 인해 성능 저하가 일어났다. 본 연구에서는 기존 환경에서 찾아낸 위의 두 가지 주요 부분에서 발견한 성능 이슈를 밝히고 또 이에 대한 해결 방법을 제시한다.

디지털과 인터넷의 발달로 재난안전 정보 서비스는 오프라인, 온라인 등 다양한 채널을 통하여 제공되고 있다. 특히, 재난안전과 관련된 정보는 재난 대비와 재난 피해에 영향을 미치는 점에서 재난안전 정보 서비스 제공은 중요하다. 그러나 노인은 오프라인과 온라인 정보 접근성에 있어 제한사항이 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 노인의 관점에서 현재 제공되고 있는 대비에 초점을 둔 재난안전 정보 서비스를 오프라인과 온라인으로 구분하여 현황분석을 하였다. 노인을 위한 재난안전 정보 서비스의 개선방안을 통하여 앞으로 재난안전 정책에서 나아가야할 방향을 살펴보고자 한다.

방송의 디지털화에 따른 비장애인 대비 소외 계층의 정보 접근성의 부족은 소외 계층에 대한 정보 격차를 심화시킬 수 있다. 이에 캐릭터 수화 방송, 자막 방송 등 장애인을 위한 방송 서비스의 양적, 질적 개선에 관한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 자막 방송 서비스의 경우, 관련 법령에 따라 서비스를 실시하고 있으며 지상파 UHD 방송의 경우에도 본 방송을 시작한 이래 폐쇄 자막 서비스 시스템을 구축하여 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 이러한 기존 자막 서비스는 텍스트 형태의 단조로운 내용 전달 방식이어서 다양한 스타일로 풍부하게 내용을 전달하는 것에 대한 요구가 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 지상파 UHD 방송을 대상으로 개선된 형태의 자막 서비스인 감성자막 서비스를 소개하고 이를 위한 감성 자막 편집기 기술 개발에 대하여 다룬다. 감성자막 서비스는 화자의 감정 정보를 자막 메타데이터에 추가적으로 제공하여, 감정에 따라 다양한 이모티콘이나 다른 종류의 폰트 스타일로 자막 서비스가 가능하게 하는 서비스이다. 감성자막 편집기는 이러한 감성 자막 메타데이터를 추가, 편집하고 감성자막 파일로 생성하기 위한 시스템으로, 지상파 UHD 송출 시스템 및 폐쇄 자막 표준을 고려하여 개발하였다.

시나브로는 언어발달지연 개선을 목적으로 발음을 교정하는 프로그램이다. TTS·STT API 를 사용하여 단어의 표준 발음을 음성 자료로 게시하고, 연습 후 사용자가 녹음한 음성에 대해 텍스트 및 시각 자료를 제공한다. 이를 통해 사용자는 자신의 발화 발음에 대해 객관적으로 피드백을 받아들일 수 있다. 시나브로는 전문기관 방문을 동반하는 일반적인 치료 방식과 달리, 온라인 기반 웹 서비스로 제작되어 공간, 시간, 비용 등의 제약을 극복하며 높은 접근성을 제공한다.

As smartphones spread and ICT technologies develop, taxi services have changed from hovering to platform-based calls and reservations. This has improved the mobility and accessibility of taxi users but caused problems, such as digital observing (no-responses to calls) for either short-distance services or services during the peak-demand periods. Digital Observing means ignoring and not accepting calls when they occur, which require improvement. Therefore, this study aims to derive measures to mitigate discrepancies in taxi supply and demand by adjusting the expected revenue of each taxi service using reinforcement learning based on the Taxi operation data. The results confirmed that the average complete response rate to calls would increase from 50.29% to 54.24% when incentives are applied, and an improvement of 5.86% can be achieved in short-distance sections of less than 5,000 won incentives. It is expected that the improvement will increase profitability for drivers, reduce the waiting time for passengers, and improve satisfaction with taxi services overall.

This study aims to analyze both the current utilization of e-learning in the scuba diving education sector and the possible improvements by using Delphi analysis. The study administered three rounds of Delphi surveys with 25 specialists, including business executives and educational leaders from scuba diving centers and resorts affiliated with organizations that conduct scuba diving education through e-learning. The comparative analysis of the state of e-learning utilization and factors for improvement revealed significant insights. In terms of expected benefits, the analysis highlighted an increase in user convenience, temporal flexibility in learning activities, and easy access to products. However, it identified major issues such as the simplistic mandatory exams, inadequate professional depth in the feedback provided, and a lack of bidirectional communication between learners and instructors. Recommendations for improvements included enhancing communication through various online communities, conducting mandatory exams offline, and developing a variety of content. Conducting regular program quality evaluations, integrating with various diving communities, and assigning dedicated tutors were deemed crucial factors for future development.

The purpose of this study is to describe the experience of visually impaired academic researchers' use of scholarly contents and to explore intrinsic nature of the experience. In-depth interview was conducted with a total number of twelve visually impaired academic researchers and the data were analyzed using Colaizzi's phenomenological research method. A total of 107 significant statements were extracted, divided into 44 themes and 12 theme clusters. The statements were then classified into four categories. The 'scholarly contents acquisition and use' category has to do with difficulties that these experience when negotiating with internet sites with poor web accessibility and full-text availability. The 'changes in perception and emotions' category deals with transitions in perception and mood experienced by visually impaired academic researchers' over time. The 'relationships with support personnel' category includes issues related with the difficulty of securing support person, support person's inadequate level of competence, and establishing/sustaining personal relationships. Finally, the 'improvement requirements' category includes issues that these researchers want resolved with regard to contents acquisition and use.

This paper reviews the amend of the School Violence Act. The School Violence Act was introduced in 2004 and it has revised several times since then. However, the latest revision in 2019 was important and meaningful. The Act began to get a stance of educational approaches to school violences. It has more emphasized to deal with school violence in the perspective of educational approach. For example, the newly revised School Violence Act allows principles of schools to deal with school violence cases in a condition of minor violence cases when victim students and parents agree with. This is an impressive change. The School Violence Act is still on going change and it should be changed more educational perspectives to deal with school violences.
