  • 새벽같이 출근하는 직장인들에겐 금쪽같은 점심시간, 이런 저런 점심 메뉴로 고민을 하기도 하지만 최근 간단하게 먹을 수 있는 테이크아웃 푸드점이 생기면서 직장인들의 점심시간에 한층 여유가 생겼다. 이렇게 보니 요즘 직장인들의 점심시간 풍경이 예전과는 크게 달라졌다. 직장인들의 점심 新풍속도를 들여다본다.

  • "나이스 샷" 골프공 날아가는 소리와 함께 박수 소리가 터져 나오는 곳은 골프존 내에 있는 스크린 골프 시설 앞이다. 여느 회사 점심시간에 볼 수 없는 풍경으로 골프존 직원들은 12시부터 2시까지의 점심시간 중 한 시간은 회사에 설치된 5대의 스크린 골프 시설을 즐기며 골프연습을 할 수 있다. 지난 3월 9일 삼성동에 위치한 골프존을 찾았다.

  • (주)메아푸드의 점심시간은 조금 특별하다. 한 명의 직원도 절대 음식을 남기지 않는다. 입맛에 맞지 않다거나 식욕이 없으면 밥 한숟가락, 반찬 한 점 남길 만도 하지만 직원들의 그릇은 늘 깨끗이 비워진다. 이유는 바로 점심값을 아껴 이웃을 돕는 메아푸드의 사회공헌 캠페인 때문이다.

Comparison of nutrients and food intakes of young children according to lunch places: based on the fifth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (유아의 점심 식사장소에 따른 영양소 및 식품 섭취량의 비교 : 제5기 국민건강영양조사 자료를 이용하여)

  • Purpose: This study examined whether there was a difference in the nutrients and food intake of young children depending on their lunch places. Methods: The dietary survey data of the fifth Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (2010 ~ 2012) were used. The children were grouped into either a child care center lunch group (n = 728) or home lunch group (n = 592) and their nutrients and food intakes were compared. Results: No differences in the 24-hr energy intake and energy intakes from lunch and dinner according to the lunch places were observed. The percentage of breakfast energy was lower in the child care center lunch group, whereas the percentage of snack energy was higher. In children aged 3 ~ 5 years, the sodium, potassium, and vitamin C intakes were high in the child care center lunch group. The 1 ~ 2 years and 3 ~ 5 year old children's vegetable intake from lunch was significantly higher in the child care center lunch group than in the home lunch group. Children aged 3 ~ 5 years in the child care center lunch group consumed more beans and fish at lunch. The adequacy of nutrients and food diversity of child care center lunch appear better than home lunch. Conclusion: Parents and care providers need to make efforts to use diverse foods, such as vegetables and fish, in children's meals to provide balanced diets and promote healthy eating behaviors to their children.

Reinterpretation of Educational Meanings of Snack and Lunch Time in a Kindergarten Class of 4-Year-Old Children (유치원 4세반에서 간식과 점심시간의 교육적 의미 재조명)

  • The purpose of this study was to examine educational meanings of snack and lunch time of 4-year-old children and their teachers in a kindergarten class. The study was done in the Class of 4-year-old children in S Kindergarten located in Songpa-gu, Seoul. And 30 children of this class, Teacher A who is the teacher in charge of the Class, and Teacher B who is the researcher and teacher in charge of it participated in it. The study was carried out by the ethnography method and data collection was done through participation observation, interviews, video and voice recording, and data collection of photography shooting. The results are as follow: First, the children had private conversations, shared their cultures, deepened and expanded their existing concepts, expressed their emotions and relieved their tension, and strengthened relations with friends during the snack and lunch time. Second, the teachers promoted conversation and communication, gave the opportunity that the children can set the lunch table by themselves and tried to make the snack and lunch time with the children by discussing what they are how they are operated with them together. In conclusion, the snack and lunch time can be more meaningful time for children when there are proper educational plans and support of teachers which are considered children's viewpoints.

Prevalence of Postprandial Hypotension in the Elderly People with Hypertension according to Mealtimes (고혈압노인의 식사시간 별 식후저혈압 발생실태)

  • The purposes of this study were to identify the degree of postprandial blood pressure reduction and the prevalence of postprandial hypotension by 3 different mealtimes of elderly people diagnosed with hypertension in nursing homes. After the informed and written consent, a total of 187 elderly people were recruited in the study. Systolic BP, diastolic BP were measured with ambulatory BP monitor every 15 minutes interval from 30 minutes before a meal until 120 minutes after each meal. The maximum SBP reduction was significantly bigger at breakfast than lunchtime or dinnertime. Among 187 elders, 137(73.4%) showed PPH at breakfast, 103(54.2%) at lunchtime, and 96(50.2%) at dinnertime. The most prevalent time point of PPH was 90 minutes after the initiation of a meal in all of 3 mealtimes. Among 8 measurement times, the prevalence of PPH was significantly higher in breakfast (3.0±2.7 times) than both lunchtime (2.1±2.5 times) and dinnertime (1.9±2.4 times). Although the occurrence of PPH by every mealtime should be taken into account in caring for the elderly, postprandial BP measurements need more attention after breakfast. Nurses should develop appropriate nursing interventions that can prevent postprandial blood pressure reduction in elderly people with hypertension.

  • 원자력과 같은 대용량 발전기의 갑작스런 탈락이나 하루 중 아침시간이나 점심시간과 같이 급격한 부하변동이 발생하는 특수 시간대에는 계통의 발전량과 부하량간에 심한 불균형이 발생하게 된다. 이 경우 계통 주파수가 변하여 발전량과 부하량이 자동으로 조절되어 수급의 균형이 이루어지게 되므로 계통이 안정하게 유지된다. 본 논문에서는 실계통 사고사례를 통하여 우리나라 계통에서 대용량 발전기 탈락시 주파수변동에 따른 발전량 및 부하량의 조절특성과 고장당시 계통 발전기들의 응동특성을 소개한다.
