An Analysis of the proliferation Case of TOPCIT(Test of Practical Competency in ICT) and policy implications (ICT 실무능력 평가 모델(TOPCIT)의 확산사례 분석 및 정책적 시사점)

  • In this study, we introduce the background and model for the Test of Practical Competency in ICT(TOPCIT), which is designed to diagnose and assess the competency of ICT industry related workers and software(SW) developers, and also attempt to derive meaningful policy implications for developing a global level of ICT SW competency evaluation system across the different cases in domestic and foreign countries with regard to the application and dissemination of the TOPCIT. First, we analyze the test results from surveys conducted a preliminary test (or a pilot test) for the process of global dissemination of the TOPCIT in 2015. Then, we attempt to compare the results with the domestic test results. The findings show that the average score between domestic and foreign test takers was similar, but in the highest score group, the number of domestic test takers was relatively higher than the number of foreign test takers. Moreover, the average score can be varied by the language ability, especially fluent in English, of test takers. Therefore, the findings suggest that the localization is one of the key components for building upon the global TOPCIT system.

Effect of Baenong Ickki San on Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome: A Case Series (배농익기산의 만성전립선염/만성 골반동통 증후군의 치료 효과에 대한 증례 보고)

  • Objectives This case series reports the efficacy of Baenong Ickki San, a Bojungikki-tang -modified formula, in treating chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome. Methods Patients diagnosed with chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome (n=11) were treated with Baenong Ickki San. Changes in their condition were measured using the National Institutes of Health Chronic Prostatitis Symptoms Index (NIH-CPSI). Results NIH-CPSI scores showed a significant improvement in the disease. The mean NIH-CPSI total score significantly decreased from 37.6±5.8 at baseline to 7.5±3.9 at end point (p<0.001), i.e., a 30.2±7.3 mean decrease was noted. Conclusions Baenong Ickki San may be a potential new medicine for chronic prostatitis/chronic pelvic pain syndrome.

Analysis of the ICILS 2018 Results by Korean Students' Educational Experience in Computer and Information Literacy and Computational Thinking (우리나라 학생들의 컴퓨터·정보 소양 및 컴퓨팅 사고력 교육 경험에 따른 ICILS 2018 결과 분석)

  • Korean 8-grade-students who participated in the ICILS 2018 were educated in the 2009 revised curriculum, where the 'Informatics' subject was an optional course in the regular curriculum. In order to closely analyze the ICILS 2018 results, it was necessary to take into account the situation in Korea that related educational experiences may differ among students. This study surveyed the students' educational experiences related to Informatics subject in the context of individual and schools. The average scores of computer and information literacy (CIL) and computational thinking (CT) of the ICILS 2018 were analyzed and compared by students' educational experiences. As a result, the average CT score of students who experienced the coding and programming education was higher than those who did not. Also, the more time students took the Informatics subject, the higher the average CT scores were. Based on these results, this study discussed implications in terms of expanding computational thinking education for elementary and secondary education.

서울시내 산업간호사의 업무수행과 직무만족, 지식과의 관계

  • 본 연구는 산업간호사가 수행하는 산업간호업무 수행실태를 파악하고 업무수행에 영향을 미치는 요인이 무엇인지를 직무만족도와 지식의 측면에서 조사 분석하기 위한 목적으로 이 연구를 시도하였다. 연구방법은 1991년 4월 26일 부터 5일 3일까지의 총 8일간 서울시내에 소재하고 있는 사업체의 산업간호사 77명을 대상으로 연구자와 조사자 1명이 직접방문을 하여 자료수집 하였다. 자료는 SPSS를 이용하여 전산처리 하였다. 실수와 백분율, 평균 표준편차를 구하였으며, Pearson Correlation Coefficient, ANOVA 분석방법올 활용하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1. 산업 간호업무 수행 정도는 근로자건강관리업무 중의 통상질환관리 업무를 대상자의 97.6%가 실시하여 수행정도가 가장 높았고, 가장 수행정도가 낮은 업무는 근로자복리중 진업무로 대상자의 40.2%만이 실시하고 있었다. 산업환경위생관리업무(실시율 45.5%), 직업병 관리업무(실시율 43.1%), 산업보건교육업무(실시율41.5%)로 역시 낮은 실시율을 보였다. 2. 산업간호사 직무만족도는 최대가능점수 240점에 대하여 점수 143.8점이며 최대평점 5점에 평점 3.0으로 나타났고 상호작용, 전문적위치, 자율성면에서 3.4점으로 높았으며 보수에 관한 만족도는 평점 2.3으로 가장 낮아 산업간호사들이 보수에 대해 불만족하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 3. 산업간호사의 산업간호업무 관계지식정도는 최대가능점수 21점에 대하여 점수 17.9점을 나타내었다. 영역별로 가장 많이 알고 있는 지식은 건강관리실운영업무 관계지식으로 정확하게 알고있는 사람이 63명으로 전체의 81.4%이었고, 가장 낮게 알고 있는 지식은 산업환경위생관리 업무 관계지식으로 정답자는 42명(54.2%)이었다. 4. 산업간호업무 수행정도와 직무만족도 및 지식정도와의 상관관계를 분석하여 본 결과 직무만족도가 높을수록 업무수행정도가 높은 것으로 나타났고 (r=.3010, P<.01), 업무수행정도와 지식정도 역시 순상관관계 (r=.2591, P<.05)가 있음이 통계적으로 유의하여 지식정도가 높을수록 업무수행정도가 높음을 알 수 있었다. 그러나 직무만족도와 지식정도는 상관관계가 없었다. 결론적으로 연구에서 나타난 산업 간호사의 업무수행은 통상질환관리 위주의 업무로서 직업병 예방, 산업보건교육, 산업환경위생관리 업무등에는 수행이 미비한 것으로 나타났으며, 업무수행과 직무만족도 및 지식정도는 순상관관계가 있어 직무만족도와 지식정도가 높을수록 업무수행이 높은 것으로 나타났다.

Association analysis between sports talent test scores and KOSTASS scores (스포츠영재성 검사 항목과 코스타스 점수간의 연관성 분석)

  • The Korea Sport Talent Search System (KOSTASS) can easily assess potential of Korean youth in 23 sport events and to identify sports talents who have high potential in track-and-field, swimming and gymnastics. The purpose of present study was to analysis relationship between sports talent test scores and KOSTASS scores. Physique, physical fitness, motor ability and physiological tests including skeletal age were administrated. Data of 201 elementary students who aged 7 to 12 living in Seoul area were collected. For pure association analysis, Pearson correlation coefficient and partial correlation coefficient are used and stepwise regression analysis is used for selecting important sports talent test scores. The results show that skeletal age, weight, chest circumference, 50-meter run, and half-squat jump have relatively low impact on six KOSTASS scores. The KOSTASS program would contribute to identify talented youth in sports among Korean youth population and success for international sports competition.

Factors Affecting the Self Esteem of a Convergence Dental Hygienist (치과위생사의 자아존중감에 융합적으로 영향을 미치는 요인)

  • The present study analyzes the main factor having an effect on the convergence dental hygienist's self-esteem through the survey to them. A self-leadership and professional self-conception show meaningful result with higher score in the group with higher self-respect than that of lower one(p<.001). Also the higher hygienist's self-esteem, the higher clinic practice ability(p<.01). There is negative correlation with self-esteem in emotional labor(p<.01) and exhaustion(p<.01). However, the positive correlations are presented in self-leadership(p<.01), professional self-conception(p<.01) and clinic practice ability(p<.01) with self-respect. The factors influenced on self-esteem are clinic practice ability(p<.05) and exhaustion(p<.01). In results, the organized convergence program and education considering self-esteem in the hospital should be accomplished systemically to enhance the clinic practice ability of each hygienist.

The validity of using cumulative peer assessed scores for final grades in college courses (대학 수업에서 누적 동료평가 점수를 활용한 성적 산출 방법의 타당성)

  • Peer assessment refers to having students, rather than the instructor, make assessments of one another's work. Peer assessment is often used as a tool to train writing skills or a tool to apply or extend learning in higher education. Park(2016) recently proposed a system which utilizes peer assessment as a part of preparatory activity for college courses. Before weekly class, students studied given material on their own, wrote a one page essay on a given question based on their reading, and assessed the essays of other students. In this study, the system was implemented in undergraduate courses at S University over 2 semesters and the results were analyzed. The reliability of weekly scores given by students was not very high, but the correlation was high between the cumulative scores given by students across weeks and the scores of the end of the term paper assessed by the instructor. Based on these findings, the possibility of utilizing the results of the peer assessments as part of the final grades was discussed.

  • This paper proposes intelligent characters for fighting action games to which energy points are applied for more realistic implementation than those of previous researches. The intelligent characters decide their actions in consideration of their energy level as well as a current action, the step of the action, the distance, and past actions of opponent characters that were used in existing intelligent ones. We used two types of energy, HP(Health Point) and MP(Mana Point) that were frequently employed in recent on-line games. We experimented with proposed intelligent characters to investigate whether the intelligent characters learn proper actions and cope with opponent characters in consideration of their energy levels. Experimental results showed that the intelligent characters reacted with the best actions to obtain high score if their energy is sufficient, Otherwise, they did the actions to(that?) recharge their energy. From this observation, we could conclude that the proposed intelligent characters worked well and did effective actions in consideration of the their energy.

Contents Analysis on the Characteristic and Related Factors of Customers Dissatisfaction in a University Hospital (일개(一介) 대학병원(大學病院) 고객(顧客)의 불만족(不滿足) 특성(特性) 및 요인(要因)에 관한 연구(硏究))

  • 병원의 의료 서비스에 대한 고객의 불만과 고충 내용을 분석하여 불만족을 파악함으로써 고객 불만족의 재발을 막고 이에 대한 해결방안을 제시하고 적용하는 고객만족 경영 전략을 수립하고자 분석한 결과 다음과 같다. 1. 조사대상자의 성별은 남자가 높은 분포를 보였고 계절별로는 환자측면과 보호자측면 모두 여름에 높았고 요일별로는 모든 측면에서 월요일에 불만족이 많았다. 이용형태별로는 환자측면은 외래가, 보호자측면은 입원이 높았고 발생부서별로는 환자측면과 보호자측면 모두 진료부에 대한 불만사항이 많았고 소리함을 통한 접수가 많았다. 2. 불만요일별 항목 특성 중 진료서비스 항목은 진료정 확성이 높은 분포를 보였고 보호자는 진료서비스에서, 환자는 절차서비스에서 높은 불만을 보였다. 3. 발생부서별로는 절차서비스는 진료지원에서 높은 점수가, 진료서비스는 진료부에서 높은 점수를 보였으며 친절서비스에서는 간호부가 높은 점수를 보였고 편의환경서비스에서는 행정부가 높은 점수를 보였으며 통계적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다.4. 불만요인별 상관관계의 결과는 진료서비스는 성별의 역 상관관계를 보였다. 친절서비스는 성별과 연령이 정상관 관계를 보였고, 진료서비스는 역상관 관계를 보였다. 절차서비스는 성별과 연령, 진료서비스, 친절서비스가 역상관 관계를 보였다. 편의환경서비스는 성별과 연령이 정상관 관계를 보였고, 진료서비스, 친절서비스, 절차서비스는 역상관 관계를 보였다. 현 의료서비스에 대한 고객의 불만 및 고충 내용이 병원 의료서비스의 질을 개선하는데 이바지할 수 있는 기초자료로써 그 의의가 있다.

Team Based Learning Experience and Effect on Study of Preliminary Learners on Medical Terminology (예비학습자의 간호영어 팀 기반 학습방법의 학습경험과 효과에 관한 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out what kind of experience and effect the learner - centered team - based learning (tbl)method has on pre - nursing learner's nursing English course. Participants were 12 preliminary nursing learner, it was analyzed through learning result recording, study observation, learning satisfaction, learner's report, peer evaluation. And described the meaning of the learning experience, individual and team scores were analyzed using frequency analysis, paired-t test. The results showed that the score of each team was higher than the score of individual in both. The tbl experience has been a form of intimacy with colleagues, a motivation for learning, self-study, easy to learn the medical terminology felt through repeated learning, to improve their score by having them secondary group test and they remembered it as a pleasant learning time.
