This study suggests a design of predictive modeling for a hospital fall risk based on inpatients' posture. Inpatient's profile, medical history, and body measurement data along with basic information about a bed they use, were used to predict a fall risk and suggest an algorithm to determine the level of risk. Fall risk prediction is largely divided into two parts: a real-time fall risk evaluation and a qualitative fall risk exposure assessment, which is mostly based on the inpatient's profile. The former is carried out by recognizing an inpatient's posture in bed and extracting rule-based information to measure fall risk while the latter is conducted by medical staff who examines an inpatient's health status related to hospital fall risk and assesses the level of risk exposure. The inpatient fall risk is determined using a sigmoid function with recognized inpatient posture information, body measurement data and qualitative risk assessment results combined. The procedure and prediction model suggested in this study is expected to significantly contribute to tailored services for inpatients and help ensure hospital fall prevention and inpatient safety.
This study analyzed results of the causes of failure in 1,022 fire trucks currently being used in South Korea (aerial ladder, aerial platform, pumper, and chemical fire trucks). The results show that 46% of aerial ladder trucks have defective in the elevator brake systems, 29% of aerial platform trucks have contamination in the hydraulic oil, 37% of pumpers have defective in the pneumatic cylinders of the air supply system, and 39% of chemical fire trucks have defective in the powder fire extinguishing systems. The principal reasons for malfunctions are deterioration of the apparatuses, and accumulated fatigue from repetitive use of certain components, such as pneumatic cylinders in the air supply system and wire rope jamming in rollers in the ladder apparatus. These manufacturing defects should be improved upon in the manufacturing process. As a result, the fire trucks, which are used for 5 years or more, need precise inspections in accordance with the Regulation on Fire Apparatus Maintenance. Fire apparatuses have a service life of 10 to 12 years or more. They need to be replaced or require life extension, and they should be kept in top shape with the best maintenance for public safety.
Breast shooting performance management and quality control of the generator is applied to the amount of current IEC(International Electrotechnical Commission) 60601-2-45 tube voltage and tube current are based on standards that were proposed in the analysis of the test results were as follows. Tube voltage according to the value of the standard deviation by year of manufacture from 2001 to 2010 as a 42-3.15 showed the most significant, according to the year of manufacture by tube amperage value of the standard deviation to 6.38 in the pre-2000 showed the most significant, manufactured after 2011 the standard deviation of the devices, the PAE(Percent Average Error) was relatively low. This latest generation device was manufactured in the breast of the tube voltage and tube diagnosed shooting the correct amount of current to maintain the performance that can be seen. The results of this study as the basis for radiography diagnosed breast caused by using the device's performance and maintain quality control, so the current Food and Drug Administration "about the safety of diagnostic radiation generator rule" specified in the test cycle during three years of self-inspection radiation on a radiation generating device ensure safety and performance of the device using a coherent X-ray(constancy) by two ultimately able to keep the radiation dose to the public to reduce the expected effect is expected.

The Construction Operations Building Information Exchange (COBie) collects and documents a large amount of information from different paths in one place during design and construction projects. This documented information is readily available as a means of continuously transferring data to the facility management systems used by building engineers. In this process, the COBie Worksheet, an open standard form, is used to input the information by simplifying the list required by the user. As a result, COBie was developed to improve dramatically how relevant information is obtained and updated to support operations, maintenance, and asset management at the design and construction stages. On the other hand, to use COBie, a great deal of manual work is required for information linkage and quality inspection with heterogeneous data models. These issues become obstacles to COBie-based facility management system development. This study analyzed the COBie information system and defined the framework for simpler operating maintenance information from BIM (Building Information Modeling). Moreover, the rules for facility management information submission, quality inspection, role definition of framework components, and information linkage were derived. COBie DB schema and support data linkages could be generated effectively based on the proposed framework in prototype development.

The quality control personnel of the construction work shall establish and execute the quality control plan or the quality test plan and check the qualification of the used materials according to the process, the management of the test and inspection equipment, the quality education, the own quality inspection and measures. Management and quality test of Korea and plays an important role in preventing accidents. However, related organizations did not explicitly disclose their roles in quality testing and quality control tasks while changing the names of quality control personnel to test personnel and quality managers when revising related laws and regulations and the application of labor costs. Therefore, a research of this is needed to improve conflicting situation. In this study, the ambiguous title relation to the quality control persons is improved to meet the requirements of the construction work based on related laws and regulations, and each role and title is classified as 'quality tester' and 'quality manager'. In other words, the person who carries out the quality test of the "Construction Quality Test Standard" specified in the Guideline for Quality Management of Construction Projects shall be the "Quality Tester" and the person who performs the quality control plan establishment and execution work specified in the Enforcement Rule of the Construction Technology Promotion Act shall be referred to as the 'Quality Manager'.

In February 2014, the rudder upper stock and the nut of a passenger ship were released and an accident occurred. That accident occurred because the steering gear of passenger ships that was intended to move many passengers. The accidents due to steering gear was zero according to 2010-2016 statistics. There is no rules prevent loosening of the upper rudder nut in "Ship Safety Act" and "Structural standard of steel ship". Since the accident, the Korea register has been revised to the joining method in Part 5 Chapter 7 of the rules in the classification of steel ships. In the field survey of 12 passenger ships operating on Mokpo and surrounding islands, the welding method was applied in the cases as the fastening method. The fastening type was equipped with two C-type structures. It was structured to be difficult to access. The NAS 3350 test was conducted to investigate ways to prevent homologous accident considering the characteristic of passenger ships that need to lift or unload rides once a year.
Safety Management System is the aviation industry policy for while operating the aircraft, to ensure the safety crew, aircraft and passengers. For operating a safe aircraft, in order to establish the international technical standards, the International Civil Aviation Organization has established the Annex 19 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation. As a result, member country was supposed to be in accordance with the policy of the International Civil Aviation Organization, to accept the international standard of domestic air law. The South Korean government announced that it would promote active safety management strategy in primary aviation policy master plan of 2012. And, by integrating and state safety programmes(ssp) and safety management system(sms) for the safe management of Annex 19 is to enforce the policy on aviation safety standards. State safety programmes(ssp) is a system of activities for the aim of strengthening the safety and integrated management of the activities of government. State safety programmes(ssp) is important on the basis of the data of the risk information. Collecting aviation hazard information is necessary for efficient operation of the state safety programmes(ssp) Korean government must implement the strategy required to comply with aviation methods and standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization. Airlines, must strive to safety features for safety culture construction and improvement of safety management is realized. It is necessary to make regulations on the basis of the aviation practice, for aviation safety regulatory requirements, aviation safety should reflect the opinion of the aviation industry.
Record & archives management is at the heart of archival science. We must be faithful to record & archives management. However, isn't there a paradox that arises the more faithful we are to record & archives management? The paradox is that 'being a responsible manager and efficiently managing records' is rather reduces the interest in the social existence of humans who create and use such records. Why do humans produce and use records? It may be because human beings have been living with the concept of records. The concept is 'the same as the design of thoughts'. There is no need to doubt this direction because as record & archives management develops, more valuable records are preserved more systematically, and they are been served with wider scope and appropriateness. However, if we observe this situation from a human point of view rather than record & archives management, we find that humans appearing in record & archives management are limited to the object of using records. If humans are perceived differently based on the hypothesis of reviewing from the ground up, we can encounter a unique context about the relationship between humans and records or between records and humans. If it reaches the norm that human beings have dignity that cannot be transferred to anyone, have the right to pursue happiness, and must live by enjoying freedom, equality, and social basic rights, in short, if human beings are recognized from a constitutional point of view, we can newly recognize the social role and direction of records. The constitution and international human rights norms document basic human rights as the final norm and clarify that it is the duty of the state to guarantee and practice them. The social role of records from a constitutional point of view is the practice of records that proliferate basic human rights. The practice of archiving, which multiplies basic human rights, may also be a civic consciousness required of experts, but on the other hand, it can be a professional way for archival studies. If record management is a two-lane round trip, it can be said that the interaction between record management and record practice, which multiplies basic human rights, is a pioneering four-lane round trip. This article examines the practice of archiving, which has been developed in and out of record & archives management, by clearly grasping the constitutional perspective from the perspective of archival studies, and examines the social role of archival studies in this context. The social role of archival studies is to provide new linguistic rules for archiving.

The existence of endemism in many parts of the world is an important factor for conservationists. Conservation can only be carried out under national legislation, and national endemics, which have very limited ranges, fully depend on the effort and success of conservation. A total of 523 vascular plant taxa were listed in the latest national checklist by Ministry of Environment in 2005, while the 'Creation and Furtherance of Arboretums Act' including a national endemic list (appendix 4-1) was established by Korea Forest Service and was legislated as a law in late 2011. This legislation by Korea Forest Service on endemism of Korean vascular plants have required much attention because of discrepancies of nomenclature, taxonomic bias and inflation. Examining data for both lists proposed by Ministry of Environment and Korea Forest Service, of the total of 360 legislated taxa, around 286 taxa are shared with the list of Ministry of Environment, of which about 80% have been found as common taxa. Around 67(18.7%) are typographic errors, and 14 taxa (3.9%) are recorded as illegitimate and invalidly published names. Through this analysis 12 taxa (3.4%) were found in China as well as in Korea and these are thought to be non Korean endemic taxa. Taken together, the legislated list displayed 1/4 (24.9%) errors out of the total list. Only 59 taxa (16.5%) are identified as national endemic species. The remainder are either unresolved candidates (73 taxa, 20.4%) or synonyms (196 taxa, 54.7%) status. It must be noted, that the concept of endemism very much depends on the knowledge of the species concept, taxonomic bias and geographical range of a species. Also, the most major nomenclatural problem tend to be more stable if the information on database about Korea Plant Name, which is managed by Korea National Arboretum are well updated year to year. These exaggerated numbers underscore the urgency for regional conservation planning and implementing effective strategies to preserve these real endemic taxa into the future.

This study aims to find out effects of a tailored occupational activity program(TOAP) on the activities of daily living(ADL), cognitive function, depressive mood, and caregiver burden, who live in the community. Method : From October 2009 to May 2010, the TOAP was applied to 15 dementia patients and 15 of their caregivers, who was visitors of the Y-city Center for Managing Dementia in Gyunggi-do. The TOAP was designed for habituating patients and caregivers to the techniques acquired through goal activities and task and making it capable of being routinized regularly. The TOAP was applied to dementia patients and their cvaregivers twice a week for 7 weeks(one-time home visit, one-time phone inspection), a total of 14 times. Results: Significant differences among pre-test and post-test were found in the AMPS motor skills(1.10±1.14 and 1.34±1.2 respectively) scores, AMPS process skills(0.32±0.55 and 0.77±0.66 respectively) scores, ACL(3.86±0.65 and 4.17±0.64 respectively) scores, MMSE-KC(17.33±4.6 and 19.33±4.97 respectively) scores, GDS(11.73±6.87 and 8.53±7.09 respectively) scores, and caregiver burden(31.80±20.06 and 26.13±18.07 respectively) scores(p<0.05). A significant effect was confirmed from the TOAP which ADL, cognitive function, reduced patient's depression and caregiver burden(p<0.05). Conclusion: From the above results that a TOAP has an effect on the improvement of the ability to ADL, cognitive function and reduced depression and caregiver burden of dementia patients living in community. The present author hopes that, in the future, more diverse community based on tailored occupational activity programs will be developed to improve the functions of dementia patients living in community.
