Analysis of Energy Saving according to Control Method of Lighting Control System using Daylight (자연광을 이용한 조명제어시스템의 제어방법에 따른 에너지 절감률 분석)

  • 최근 건물 내 에너지 소비량의 30%를 점유하고 있는 조명 에너지 절감을 위해 자연광을 이용하여 인공조명의 의존도를 낮추고 에너지 사용을 최소화하기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 조명 에너지 소비 절감 및 재실자의 작업 능률 향상을 위해 조명시뮬레이션 소프트웨어인 Relux를 이용하여 소규모 사무 공간을 3D로 모델링하고, 이를 기준으로 시간대별 자연광의 유입량에 따라 조명장치를 점멸제어, 조광제어, 스텝제어의 다양한 제어방법을 적용하여 반복적인 시뮬레이션 과정을 통해 각 제어방법에 따른 에너지 절감률을 비교 및 분석하였다. 분석 결과 조광제어가 60.5%로 가장 높은 에너지 절감률을 보였다.

  • There are a number of policies that have been established to reduce greenhouse gases emissions and reduce energy consumption. These polices, however, only reflect the building energy consumption saving rate without considering building energy consumption characteristic. If building that already use less energy apply the same saving rate to reduce energy consumption, it is less effective. Therefore, this study classified building energy consumption characteristics and investigated approaches to adopt individual reduction rates according to energy consumption. Analysis results showed that there are differences in energy consumption depending on building use, and therefore, we classified buildings by use. We also proposed a formula to set a reduction goal for rate of energy consumption according to energy consumption. We verified our approach in a top-end neighborhood facility in Seoul. The energy consumption savings goal of this study can be applied individually, but determining whether a building can reduce energy consumption towards a saving goal requires a closer look at each building.

Analysis of Saving Rates according to Energy Consumption Factors in Office Building (사무소 건물의 에너지 소비 요소별 절감률 분석)

  • In this study, 21 energy reduction factors were selected as architecture, system & operation, and lighting and equipment parts to analyze reduction method of the load occurring in office buildings. Energy consumption simulation was performed. In the architecture part, saving rate (1.53%) of "occupant density" factor was the most efficient. In the system and operation part, saving rate (1.28%) of "interior VAV and exterior FPU type" factor was the most efficient. In case of lighting and equipment part, saving rate (12.42%) of "schedule" factor was the most efficient. In the three parts, saving rate of the lighting and equipment part was 27.32%. This was caused by the "schedule" factor. Saving rates of the architecture part and the system and operation part were 3.39% and 1.20%, respectively.

  • Environmental issues resulting from climate change and energy crises have become global issues, and cycling has gained greater popularity for sustainable transportation. Though many cities are trying to build bicycle roads, it is not easy to implement bicycle roads because there is little available space for bicycle facilities. Therefore, road diets have become more popular in Korea. However, there has been no intensive research to date of their impacts. The purpose of this research is to evaluate the effects of road diets and construction of bike lanes. Every benefit, including energy benefit, environmental benefit, and health benefit is considered, while only time savings benefit has been considered in previous studies. The benefit analysis for the Seoul metropolitan area as a case study shows that road diets have a (1) time saving benefit for only five percent of the mode share and (2) enough total benefit even if bicycle mode share is less than two percent.

Impact Analysis of Traffic Patterns on Energy Efficiency and Delay in Ethernet with Rate Adaptation (적응적 전송률 기법을 이용한 이더넷에서 트래픽 패턴이 에너지 절약률 및 지연 시간에 미치는 영향)

  • As many researchers have been interested in Green IT, Energy Efficient Ethernet(EEE) with rate adaptation has recently begun to receive many attention. However, the rate adaptation scheme can have different energy efficiency and delay according to the characteristics of various traffic patterns. Therefore, in this paper, we analyze the impact of different traffic patterns on the energy efficiency and delay in Ethernet with rate adaptation. To do this, firstly we design a rate adaptation simulator which consists of Poisson based traffic generator, Pareto distribution based ON-OFF generator and Ethernet node with rate adaptation by using OPNET Modeler. Using this simulator, we perform the simulation in view of the total number of switching, transmission rate reduction, energy saving ratio and average queueing delay. Simulation results show that IP traffic patterns with high self-similarity affect the number of switching, rate reduction and energy saving ratio. Additionally, the transition overhead is caused due to the high self-similar traffic.

  • In this paper, Solidworks was used to do a conceptional design of an box of an electric saver in order to manufacture an electric saver having a different performance and model. Based on this, analysis was made considering weight concentrated on an box. 3-dimensional finite element analysis code, ANSYS was applied to obtain stress, strain and deformation in order to secure durability and these data was reflected to a detailed drawing.

사채차환(社債借換)이 보통주(普通株)의 수익률(收益率)과 기업(企業)의 위험(危險)에 미치는 영향(影響)에 관한 실증적(實證的) 연구(硏究)

  • 전통적으로 기업이 사채차환(社債借換)(bond refunding)을 행하는 이유는 시장이자율이 발행이 자율보다 낮은 경우 단순히 이자비용을 절감하려는데에 그 동기가 있었다. 이러한 전통적인 이자 비용절감이라는 동기외에 타동기에 대해서 사채차환이 주가수익율과 회사의 위험에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증적인 분석은 거의 없었다고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 사채차환에 대해서 (1) 만기연장가설(滿期延長假說), (2) 이자비용절감가설(利子費用節減假說), (3) 세금절감가설(稅金節減假說), (4) 주당순리익가설(株當純利益假說), (5) 제한조항완화가설(制限條項緩和假說) 및 (6) 레버리지가설(假說)등 6가지의 가설(假說)을 계시하고 사채차환(私債借換)의 공표가 보통주수익율과 위험에 미치는 일반적인 영향을 위의 여섯가지 가설하에서 검증을 하였다. 본 연구의 결과 전통적인 이자비용절감 가설은 주식 가격에 음의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타난 반면, 오히려 세금절감가설이 강하게 지지되었다. 또한 세금절감을 위한 사채차환이 공표되는 경우 주식베타 및 총수익율분산은 Hamada (1969, 1972)의 견해와 같이 유의적인 양의 변화가 나타났다. 부수적으로 외생변수로서의 기업규모는 초과수익과 역의 관계가 나타났으며, 사채차환의 규모효과가 존재한다는 것을 확인하였다. 본 연구의 다양한 사채차환가설의 초과수익예측이 상호배타적이지는 않으나 시장모형의 베타로 측정되는 주식위험의 변화를 도입하는 경우 이러한 가설들의 효과를 명백히 분리시킬 수 있게 된다. 따라서 횡단면 분석시 전통적인 잔차분석방법에 추가적으로 주가베타 및 총수익율분산을 종속변수로 사용했다는 것이 본 연구의 중요한 공헌이라 하겠다.

Joint Power-Saving and Routing Algorithm for Lifetime Maximization in Mobile Ad Hoc Networks (이동 애드혹 네트워크에서 생존시간 최대화를 위한 전력절감과 라우팅 결합 알고리즘)

  • In mobile ad hoc networks (MANET), power-saving technology of mobile nodes is divided into transmit power control (TPC), power-saving mode (PSM), and routing. TPC and PSM are operated in physical layer but the routing is managed in network layer, so the design of a joint algorithm is needed to provide better performance. Therefore, in this paper, we propose a joint power-saving and routing algorithm for maximizing the network lifetime while satisfying the end-to-end data rate in ad hoc networks. The proposed algorithm first applies the TPC or PSM to reduce the power consumption of mobile nodes and then performs the routing by considering the decided node lifetime in order to maximize the path lifetime. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm maximize the lifetime while satisfying the required rate according to the number of mobile nodes and the level of interference.
