The Effects of Training on Body Fat and Blood Lipid (운동효과가 체지방 및 혈중 지질에 미치는 영향)

  • The seven (7) housewives were used as subjects at three times per weeks for twelve (12) weeks in order to find out the effects of aerobic exercise and weight training on body composition and blood lipid. Each subject's weight, lean body mass, percent body fat, BMI and blood lipid were measured immediately after the training and the results compared with the same prior to exercises were obtained as follows ; 1. The weight and percent body fat of the subjects were slightly but not significantly decreased, however the lean body mass following training was significantly increased with 1.3 %. BMI S RBW were also not significantly decreased. 2. Calory intake was 1929.9 cal before the training and 1896.0 cal after the training, which doesn't shows much difference. 3. The blood lipid such as TC and LDL-C were a little increased after the training, but HDL-C shows significant increase of 22.7 %, and HDL-C/TC was significantly increased with 13.2 % (p<.05 ) as well. However, TG shows significant decrease (p<.05 ).

  • 광복절이 있는 8월은 우리 역사에 대해 많은 생각을 하게 한다. 일제강점기 동안 강탈당한 나라를 되찾기 위해 목숨을 걸었던 독립운동가의 숭고한 기개가 오늘을 사는 우리를 다시 한 번 숙연하게 하기 때문이다. 몽양 여운형은 일제강점기와 해방전후기 가장 합리적인 민족지도자로서 조선 광복과 대한민국 건설에 기여한 지대한 공로를 인정받아 지난 2008년 2월 최고 훈장인 건국훈장 대한민국장에 추서됐다. 여인성 대중기계(주) 대표이사가 몽양의 종손자인 것은 익히 알려진 사실이다. 프린팅코리아가 여 대표를 만나 친족만이 전할 수 있는 몽양의 위대한 발자취를 밝히고, 8월의 의미를 다시 한 번 되새겨본다.

  • 본 연구는 음악의 유형에 따라 인체의 생리적인 변인과 운동성이 어떻게 변화하는지 알아봄으로써, 향후 치료를 시행할 때 음악을 함께 적용하는 것에 대한 가능성과 적용 가능한 음악적 성향을 제시하고자 한다. 20대의 여성 30명을 3주 동안 자율신경계를 활성화 시킬 수 있는 음악과 자율신경계를 침체시키는 음악을 다른 날 각각 들려주었다. 악력, 혈압과 민첩성을 음악을 들려주기 전후에 각각 측정하였다. 침체시키는 음악을 들려준 경우는 수축기 혈압과 악력은 낮아졌으며, 민첩성은 침체시키는 저하되었고, 활성화시키는 음악에서는 높아진 것으로 나타났다. 치료를 실시할 때 환자의 상태와 병적 증상에 맞는 적절한 음악을 선택하여 들려줌으로써 보다 효율적인 치료가 제공될 수 있으리라 생각한다.

The Effects of Virtual Reality-based Exercise on Energy Expenditure during Gait in Chronic Stroke Patients (가상현실을 이용한 재활운동이 뇌졸중 환자의 보행시 에너지 소모에 미치는 효과)

  • This study was aimed at determining the effect of virtual reality(VR) based exercise programs on energy expenditure during gait in chronic stroke patients. Thirty-two stroke patients were participated for this study. They underwent stroke for more than 6 months and were assigned to a VR-exercise group (n=16) or a control group (n=16). The VR-exercise group executed a rehabilitation exercise three times a week during 6 weeks. The VR-exercise was performed by PS2 for one hour. Control group maintained their usual life without application of exercise. Energy expenditure index(EEI) during gait was calculated from heart rate and gait velocity. After the completion of the VR-exercise, the EEI was decreased significantly (p<0.05). These results showed that the rehabilitation exercise using a virtual reality is effective in the improvement of energy efficiency during gait in chronic stroke patients.

  • After the war, the circle literature movement took place in Japan around the 1950s. The subjects of the national movement, the Korean-Japanese, have produced and expanded their political rights and claims through circles and organs in conjunction with the literary movement. However, the results of analyzing the exchanges and conflicts between the political subjects of the Korean national movement and the literary circle movement as a concrete case to date are still insignificant. After liberation, the endless worries and confrontations to the post-colonialization of literary Koreans in Japan were analyzed as 'community with Republic of Korea and Japan', 'topic and creative language', and as 'conflict with Korean association in japan'. The process leading to dissolution was analyzed. The spirit of the era of Koreans in Japan in the 1950s identified in this paper is expected to suggest a new direction for the starting point of study of the humanities in Japan.

Effects of Passive Vibration Convergence Sling Exercise on the Balance and Gait of Patients with Stroke (수동진동을 융합한 슬링운동이 뇌졸중환자의 균형과 보행에 미치는 영향)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of sling exercise convergence with passive vibration on balance and gait in stroke patients. One time 35 minutes three times a week for six weeks. The sling exercise experimental group and the control group were divided into eight members. Balance and gait were measured. There was a significant difference between the eyes open standing and the eyes closed standing in the comparison between the experimental group and the control group. The experimental and control groups showed significant differences in the groups of eyes open standing and eyes closed standing, limits of stability and gait speed before and after intervention. Vibration sling exercise may help to improve the balance and gait of stroke patients. In the future, many patients, various frequencies, and effective exercise periods are needed.

Computation of Ground Reaction Forces During Gait using Kinematic Data (보행의 운동학적 데이터를 이용한 지면반발력 계산)

  • The purpose of this study is to compute the ground reaction forces during gait in the absence of force plates. The difficulties in using force plates for hemiparetic patients inspired us to initiate this study. Level-walking experiments were performed using a three-dimensional motion analysis system with synchronized force plates. Kinematic data were obtained from the three-dimensional trajectories of reflective markers. Gait events were also detected from the kinematic data. The human body was modeled as 13 rigid segments. The mass and the center of mass of each segment were determined from anthropometric data. Vertical ground-reaction forces obtained from the kinematic data were in good agreement with those obtained using the force plate. The computed and measured values of anterior and lateral ground reaction showed similar tendencies. The computation results can be used as the basic data for inverse dynamic analysis.
