Using a stochastic volatility-in-mean VAR model consisting of the KOSPI index, the foreign exchange rate, the government bond rate, and the credit spread, this study investigates the effects of financial market uncertainty on financial markets. We find that higher uncertainty has recessionary effects on financial markets. The effects are especially stronger in equity markets and in won-dollar exchange markets. We also find that the effects of uncertainty become stronger during times of financial market stress compared to normal times. Finally, the results imply that financial market uncertainty may potentially affect the real sector, too.

오늘날 경제위기를 극복하고 새로운 도약을 위해선 과학기술에 바탕을 둔 사고방식과 행동양식으로의 전환이 시급하다. 지난 날의 경제 운영도 과학기술적인 방법을 외면했기 때문에 오늘의 경제위기를 초래하게 된 것이다. 즉 외채부족에 대한 자료가 2-3년 전에 숫자적으로 공개되었다면 오늘의 외환위기는 피할 수 있었을 것이다. 또한 과학기술처도 전문연구업무만을 관장하는 부서라는 인상에서 벗어나 전국민의 과학화를 위한 더욱 넓은 분야로 확대 개편되어야 과학입국을 통한 경제의 재도약을 이룰 수 있을 것이다.

'60-'70년대의 개발년대의 총량적 경제성장위주의 국가정책에 대응하여 통계를 개발한 결과 전국단위의 경제통계는 많이 작성되었으나 생활의 질적 측면에 대한 통계개발에는 소홀하였다고 할 수 있다. 80년대 이후 경제 운용방식이 민간주도로 옮아가고 지역간, 산업간, 계층간의 형평을 추구하는 정책으로 그 기조가 바뀌었으며 '90년대에는 지방자치시대가 열림에 따라 국가의 통계도 경제통계, 전국단위의 통계편중으로부터 탈피하여 지역통계, 사회복지통계의 개발을 중시하는 방향으로 전환하고 있다. 경제분야에서도 서비스산업의 비중이 증대하고 국제적 개방의 물결을 맞이하여 적절한 대외개방전략을 수립하기 위해 필요한 통계의 수요도 급증하고 있다.

The purpose of this paper is to study the impact of shipping service firm's perceived relational benefits on switching barriers and loyalty focusing on tug boat service. To achieve the purpose of the research, literature survey on existing literature, thesis, research report is performed and also reliability analysis, validity test and multiple regression analysis using SPSSWIN 18.0 is used in this research. To verify a research model and hypothesis, a questionnaire survey among employees of shipping companies and shipping agencies was executed. 76 copies of total 200 copies of questionnaires were collected and the number of questionnaire used for empirical analysis was 76 copies. The main results of the study are summarized as below. First, Hypothesis 1 "shipping service firm's perceived relational benefits has a positive impact on the switching barrier" was supported by this study. Second, Hypothesis 2 "shipping service firm's perceived relational benefits has a positive impact on the loyalty" was supported in this research. Finally, Hypothesis 3 "switching barrier has a positive impact on the customer's loyalty" was also supported. Further research can be extended by adding more questionnaires including more shipping service firms all over the nation.

Forecasting of short-term employment fluctuations provides a useful tool for policy makers in risk managing the labor market. Following the process of producing the composite leading indicator for macro economy, the paper develops the employment leading indicator(ELI) for the purpose of short-term forecasting non-farm payroll employment in private sectors. ELI focuses on early detecting the point of time and the speed in phase change of employment level.

This paper attempts to analyze labor politics under the Kim Young-Sam regime. The labor politics transformed from conflictual pluralism to social partnership. The transition was triggered by the 'IMF economic crisis,' and the transitional direction was determined by the character of political regime and the pattern of social coalitions. These findings imply that the transitional direction of labor politics is not determined by an economic crisis or international pressure, but by the relational dynamics of social coalitions forcing social actors to new perception and strategic choice.

우리는 대표적인 디지털 플랫폼인 온라인 음식 주문 배달 산업을 대상으로 디지털 경제의 긴꼬리 효과를 계량화한다. 특히, 코로나19 시기를 거치면서 음식배달플랫폼 입점으로 인한 긴꼬리 효과의 변화 양상을 고찰한다. 배달의민족에 입점한 음식점 15,000곳을 무작위로 선별하고 이들 매장의 2019년부터 2021년까지 전체 주문 정보를 취합(aggregation)하여 선형로그변환 후 기울기를 추정하여 디지털 경제의 긴꼬리 효과를 실증 분석하였다. 2019년부터 2021년까지 관찰기간 동안 음식 배달 플랫폼 활용 음식점 주비모수 분포의 긴꼬리 효과는 강건하게 관찰되었다. 이는 코로나19 이후 음식배달 플랫폼을 통한 음식점의 디지털 전환이 틈새시장 확장에 일정 부분 기여하였음을 의미한다. 또한, 긴꼬리 효과는 객단가가 높을수록 매출액 상위 집단일수록 더 커지는 반면, 비황금 시간대 매출비중이 높은 경우 긴꼬리 효과가 통계적으로 유의하게 증가하지 않았다. 이 결과는 피자, 족발 등 단가가 높고 비교적 배달서비스가 활발한 카테고리에서 음식 주문 및 배달 산업의 디지털 전환 효과가 증가한다는 업계 실무자들의 관찰과 부합한다. 타 업종에서도 상대적으로 경쟁이 치열한 시장 구분에서 디지털 경제의 긴꼬리 효과가 보다 강건하게 관찰될 것이라고 여겨진다. 음식점 간 경쟁강도가 상대적으로 약한 비황금시간대 매출비중이 긴꼬리 효과에 통계학적으로 유의한 영향을 주지 않는다는 실증결과 또한 동일한 함의가 있다.

우리나라가 자원빈국에서 살아 남을 길은 경제사회구조 전반을 자원순환사회로 전환하는 것이 필요하다. 환경부는 자원순환사회전환촉진법 제정을 추진하면서 2013년부터 관계부처, 산업계, 재활용업계, 시민단체, 전문가와 함께 약 50여회에 걸친 의견수렴을 실시하여 자원순환사회를 열망하는 다양한 목소리에 귀 기울이고, 이를 정책에 녹여내기 위해 끊임없이 소통하여 왔다. 하지만 이러한 정부의 노력만으로는 한계가 있다. 미래 세대를 위해 자원순환사회로 빠른 시일 내에 진입할 수 있도록, 자원순환사회로의 전환에 대한국민 모두의 관심과 지지가 필요하다.
