  • 프린팅 기법은 크게 젯팅(Jetting) 기법과 코팅(Coating) 기법으로 나눌 수 있는데, 이중 젯팅 기법은 액체 상태의 재료를 노즐을 통하여 분사하는 기법을 말하며, 그 방식으로는 전하제어형, 확산형, 자성 잉크형 등의 연속 방식, 피에조형, 전기열 변환형, 방전형, 고체잉크형, 정전흡입형 등의 DOD 방식, 잉크 미스트형, 스프레이형 등의 기타 방식으로 나누어 볼 수 있다. 젯팅 공정을 이용하여 폴리머 계열을 2차원 흑은 3차원 형상으로 제작하는 것은, 기존의 잉크젯 분사시스템을 수정 보완하는 것으로도 기술적으로 가능하다.(중략)

  • New ITO Electrode structure informed that the efficiency is increased by about 30% compared to the conventional type has been investigated during addressing period. As a result, the addressing time is decreased by about 20% compared to the conventional type. And wall charge distribution was analyzed quantitatively in three electrodes during addressing period.

  • In order to produce only a pH-controlled solution without discharging any unused solution, this work has developed a continuous electrolytic system with a pH-adjustment reservoir being placed before an ion exchange membrane-equipped electrolyzer, where as a target solution was fed into the pH-adjustment reservoir, some portion of the solution in the pH-adjustment reservoir was circulated through the cathodic or anodic chamber of the electrolyzer depending on the type of the ion exchange membrane used, and some other portion of the solution in the pH-adjustment reservoir was discharged from the electrolytic system through other counter chamber with its pH being controlled as acid or base. The phenomena of the pH being controlled in the system could be explained by the electro-migration of the ion species in the solution through the ion exchange membrane under a cell potential difference between anode and cathode and its consequently-occurring non-charge equilibriums and electrolytic water- split reactions in the anodic and cathodic chambers.

  • Electrochemical studies were performed for a single particle of nickel hydroxide for the cathode of Ni-MH batteries. A carbon fiber microelectrode was manipulated to make electrical contact with an alloy particle, and electrochemical experiments were performed. As a result of cyclic voltammetry, the oxidation/reduction and oxygen evolution reaction (OER) are clearly separated for a single particle. The total cathodic charge (Qred) is practically constant for the scan rate investigated, indicating that the whole particle has reacted. The total anodic charge(Qox) was larger than that of reduction reaction, and the magnitude of oxygen evolution taking place as a side reaction was enhanced at lower scan rates. As a result of galvanostatic charge and discharge measurement, the discharge capacity of single particle was found to be 250 mAh/g, value being very close to the theoretical capacity (289 mAh/g). The apparent proton diffusion coefficient(Dapp) using potential step method inside the nickel hydroxide was found to range within $3{\sim}4{\times}10^{-9}\;cm^2/s$.

  • The relationships between driving voltage and the wall charge distribution in the address period of surface discharge type AC Plasma Display Panel have been investigated. The quantity of wall charge on each electrode are detected simultaneously from the electrode current after applying only one addressing discharge pulse. The wall charge Qy on the scan electrode Y is nearly the sum of Qx on the address electrode X and Qz on the sustain electrode 2. The Qy increased with the driving voltage regardless of the kind of electrode, whereas the address time Td decreased, Qz and Qy are increased considerably with the blocking voltage Vz, whereas Qx is decreased. The increase rate of Qx, Qy and Qz for increase in Vz was $-13{\times}10^{-2}$(pc/Vz), and $60{\times}10^{-2}$(pc/Vz) and $70{\times}10^{-2}$(pc/Vz), respectively.

  • The coronary collateral vessels have revealed their significance in terms of reduction of infarct size, preservation left ventricular function, and prevention of left ventricular aneurysm in patients with myocardial infarction. The purpose of this study were to evaluated the relation between collateral circulation and $^{99m}Tc$-MIBI Heart SPECT in patient with acute myocardial infarction and their clinical significance. The fifty six MI patients with antegrade TIMI perfusion grade 0 and 1 were studied. The patients were classified into two groups; Group I inclueded 30 patients with grade 2, 3 Collateral flow. Group II inclueded 26 patients with grade 0, 1 Collateral flow. Collateral filling were graded from 0 to 3: 0- none, 1- Filling of side branch only, 2- Partial filling of the epicardial segment, 3- Complete filling of epicardial segment. Clinical variables, left ventricular function, $^{99m}Tc$-MIBI Heart SPECT were analyzed with angiographic finding. Results were following: 1) Collateral visualization was found to be greater in patient with involvement of right coronary artery (RCA). The collateral development site of infarct related artery was RCA 15 cases, left anterior descending artery (LAD) 10 cases, left circumflex artery (LCX) 5 cases, and the collateral circulation from LAD to RCA was 13 cases (40.6%). 2) There was a tendency to be decreased in peak CK activity with group I. 3) The presence of good collateral channels was more frequently $^{99m}Tc$-MIBI reversible perfusion defect (83.4% vs 15.3%, p<0.05). 4) No differences of left ventricular end diastolic volume (LVEDV), left ventricular end systolic volume (LVESV), ejection fraction (EF) were noted between group I and group II. The presence of good collateral channels did affect the frequency of occurrence of $^{99m}Tc$-MIBI reversible perfusion defect.

  • 본 연구에서는 농작업지내 모서리 점을 이용하여 자율주행 트랙터의 경로점을 생성하는 알고리즘을 개발하였다. 작업지는 직사각형의 형태에서 거리가 긴 방향으로 직선주행 경로로 하고, 직선경로의 수는 작업폭에 의해 결정되며 홀수 또는 짝수 개일 수 있다. 또한 TM좌표계에서 직선주행 경로의 기울기는 양수 또는 음수 일 수 있으며, 선회시 전체적으로 좌회전 또는 우회전하는 경우로 구분하여, 즉 총 8가지의 경우에 대하여 조건이 주어지면 경로점을 구할 수 있도록 프로그램하였다. 선회를 위한 곡선경로 생성에는 트랙터의 최소 회전반경 데이터를 사용하였으며, 이때 새로 진입할 다음 경로가 충분히 떨어져 있는 경우에는 선회 구간에서도 직선 경로 구간이 생길 수 있음을 고려하였다. 한 주기의 경로점은 직선 경로 구간의 시작점과 끝점, 선회 구간의 시작점과 끝점, 다음 직선경로로 진입을 위해 선회하기 직전까지의 직선 구간에 대한 시작점과 끝점 등 6가지의 경우로 구분할 수 있다. 이때 어떤 끝점 경로점은 다음 조작 구간의 시작점 경로점이 되므로 최종적인 경로점 데이터는 4개가 된다. 여기서, 첫 번째 경로점 생성에서는 직선구간 진입을 위한 선회구간의 시작점과 끝점은 제외하였으며, 작업지로 진입할 수 있는 입구와 출구는 동일한 것으로 가정하여, 작업이 완료되는 지점에서 선회하여 다시 출발점으로 돌아올 수 있도록 추가 구성하였다. 실제 상황에서는 직선주행 경로의 수가 정수가 되지 않을 수 있으며, 이때는 작업 구간이 약간씩 오버랩되도록 작업폭을 조정하여 경로의 수가 항상 정수가 되도록 하였다. 알고리즘 평가에 사용된 작업 패턴은 관행적인 방법으로서 작업 포장을 반으로 나누어 8자형 패턴을 이용하였다.

Effect of Current Density and pH of Electrolyte on Anion-Exchange Membrane Fouling (전류밀도와 전해질의 pH가 음이온교환막의 막 오염에 미치는 영향)

  • Current density is an important operating parameter in the ion-exchange membrane process. We observed the effects of fouling of a Neosepta AMX anion-exchange membrane(Tokuyama Soda, Japan) in 0.02 M NaCl solution containing 100 mg/L sodium humate. Membrane fouling was analyzed by measuring the change in the electrical resistance in the under- and over-limiting current density regions. The experimental results found that membrane fouling was negligible at under-limiting current densities, but was increased significantly when an over-limiting current was supplied. After the fouling experiments, the current-voltage curves for the fouled membranes were measured. From the curves, we observed increased electric resistance and reduced limiting current density(LCD), caused by the accumulation of humic acid on the membrane surface. Furthermore, membrane fouling increased as the acidity of the electrolyte solution containing humic acid increased. This occurred because the fouling of an anion-exchange membrane is affected more by the physicochemical properties of the humic substance than by the surface charge of the humate.

Design of a broadband CP antenna for RFID readers (RFID 리더용 광대역 원편파 안테나 설계)

  • In this paper, we considered a design method of a circular polarization (CP) antenna for UHF (ultra high frequency) RFID (Radio Frequency IDentification) readers. The antenna is a dual-fed circular microstrip patch which produces right-handed CP. Quadrature hybrid coupler is used for dual feeding. The outputs of the coupler and circular patch are connected through copper wires, and the inductive reactance produced by the connecting wires is compensated by a ring-shaped slot inserted inside the circular patch. The effects of the geometrical parameters of the proposed antenna on the antenna performance are examined, and the parameters are adjusted to be suitable for the operation in North American UHF RFID band (902-928 MHz), which includes domestic UHF RFID band. The antenna is fabricated, and the experiment results reveal a frequency band of 854-993 MHz for a voltage standing wave ratio < 2. The fabricated antenna is connected to a commercial RFID reader, and it showed a good performance of tag identification.

Chemical Changes During Desalting of Fish Sauces Using Electrodialyzer (전기투석기를 이용한 액젓의 탈염중 화학적 변화)

  • For the development of kimchi seasoning, fish sauces were desalted using electrodialyzer and some chemical components were analyzed. The salt content of fish sauce was adjusted to 20%, 15%, 10%, 5%, 2% and pH, total nitrogen (TN) content, amino nitrogen (AN) content and $NH_3$ content was determined. During desalting process pH was increased and TN, AN content also increased. But $NH_3$ content was decreased. It was surposed that $NH_3$ was eliminated with $Na^+$ because similar charge characteristic. In conclusion, using electrodialyzer fish sauce could be desalted to less than 2% and salt and moisture was co-eliminated.
