Guided implant surgery is useful in anterior implant case in terms of fixture installation and temporary crown delivery. For the aesthetic prosthetics in anterior implant, the position of the implant fixture is crucial. Guided surgery is the top-down procedure and we designed prosthetics first and then determine the position of the fixture. Guided surgery can reduce the stress of dentist with difficult anterior implant case.

치과용 복합레진은 bis GMA형의 monomer가 개발되고, 무기 filler가 첨가되어 물리적인 성질이 더욱 향상되었으며, 또한 법랑질에 대한 산부식법을 통하여 치아에 대한 결합력을 높을 수 있는 방법이 도입되면서 치과용 수복물로서 각광을 받아 왔다. 특히 복합레진은 이전까지 이용되었던 silicate cement 이나 acrylic resin에 비하여 변색이 적고, 원래의 형태를 비교적 잘 유지하는 장점을 가져서 전치부의 수복에 유용한 재료로 인식되었다. 복합레진을 이용한 전치부의 수복은 비교적 적은 치질의 삭제만으로도 가능하고, 심미적으로도 우수한 결과를 보이고 있어서 올바른 술식을 통하여 적절히 이용한다면 좋은 임상적인 결과를 얻을 수 있는 것이 사실이지만 재료학적인 한계가 아직 까지는 엄연히 존재한다. 복합레진을 이용한 전치부의 수복에 있어서, 복합레진의 문제점과 이를 줄이기 위한 방법, 임상시의 주의점 등에 관해 살펴보도록 한다.

The prosthodontic treatments in maxillary anterior teeth focus on achieving esthetic appearances. It is possible to improve the esthetic appearance by adjusting the shape, arrangement, and color of the maxillary anterior teeth. For anterior teeth restoration, it is necessary to evaluate the relationship of teeth, lip and gingival architecture with the facial profile of patient. Also, clinician needs to fully understand what the patient wants to. DSD (digital smile design) concept can be applied as a tool to improve communication with the clinician, technician and patient. In addition, DSD can help to meet the needs of the patient. In this case, it was impossible to achieve symmetry due to congenital missing of maxillary central incisor. The definitive treatment goal was to get the harmony of maxillary anterior teeth, lip and the patient's face. This case report describes that the patient and clinician got the satisfying esthetic outcome by using DSD.

In case of endodontic treatment and extensive restoration of severe dental caries, trauma, and developmental defect, esthetic restoration of primary incisors and permanent anterior teeth for children and adolescents period is delicate matter for pediatric dentists. Existing restorative methods for anterior teeth have retentive and esthetic limitations for badly damaged teeth, especially for the adolescent anterior teeth. Therefore, the preparative stage for setting the permanent prosthesis as well as the retention and esthetics have to be considered. In this case, esthetic restoration for badly destroyed anterior teeth was tried with fiber-reinforced post and the result was satisfactory.

With the increasing demand for esthetics and minimum intervention concept, people want to restore the fractured tooth with direct composite restoration. But even now, many dentists hesitate to do the direct resin restoration in the anterior region and shift the responsibility to dental technicians. This article describes each steps in restoring Class IV cavity. To obtain an esthetic result in anterior restoration, layering technique is mandatory and clinical tips suggested in this article would be useful.

The open bite malocclusion is a common clinical entity and has multifactorial causes. Development of effective treatment plan and management is dependent on proper diagnosis. The skeletal open bite patient requires a coordinated orthodontic and orthognathic surgical approach to achieve stable occlusion, acceptable esthetics, and improved function. But in case of open bite with severely decayed dentition, restoration in the entire dentition is necessary. Using the facial analysis and diagnostic wax-up, the most effective treatment was prosthetic rehabilitation. The provisional restorations were fabricated to satisfy esthetic and functional requirements, which result in the uniformly distributed occlusal force, anterior and canine guidance. The inter-arch relationship, labio-dental harmony, and the soft tissue aspect, which is important to estimate the longevity were evaluated. Definitive restorations of monolithic zirconia were made by replicating provisional restorations by using the latest CAD/CAM technology. They were delivered to the patient and clinical follow-up observation was satisfactory.

Aesthetics means differ from cultures and times and also differ from each person's own thinking. But as a restorative dentist who works for esthetic areas, we need to have certain principles and rationale. Some functions in CAD/CAM looks very useful to match harmonious shape to adjacent teeth and also very effective and efficient when compare to the traditional laboratory technics. Also we will discuss about link abutment (Titanium-Zirconia abutment) which we need for dental implant placed anterior area where the soft tissue is thin.

Cerebral palsy is an umbrella term encompassing a group of non-progressive non-contagious motor conditions that cause physical disability in human development. Motor disorder of cerebral palsy is often accompanied by disturbances of sensation, perception, cognition, communication, behavior and seizure disorder. Disharmony of motor function leads to frequent falling down. Moreover patients have high prevalence of class II malocclusion. Compared to normal patients, the patients with cerebral palsy tends to have high prevalence of recurrent trauma and bruxism which make restoration of the anterior tooth more difficult. This case report is consisted of three cases of cerebral palsy patients who have challenging problems with restoration of anterior teeth.

Monolithic zirconia has been widely used in fixed partial dentures due to high strength and fracture toughness. Nevertheless, the usage of monolithic zirconia in anterior restoration was limited because of opacity. Recently, esthetic monolithic zirconia blocks are developed by improving translucency and using various shading systems. Manufacturer introduces 3M $Lava^{TM}$ Esthetic with increased cubic phase and fluorescent ingredients is more esthetic than previous monolithic zirconia. This case report describes favorable anterior restorations using translucent monolithic zirconia.

In case of the treatment of maxillary anterior teeth, it should be taken into account the proper morphology, arrangement and color satisfying patient's esthetic demands. For this purpose, facial composition, dentofacial composition, dental composition and dentogingival composition should be considered making diagnosis and treatment plan in an esthetic point of view. In adjustable temporary crown state, careful evaluation and correction of the esthetic and functional aspect were performed, and the definite restoration was reproduced using double scan.
