Calculation of Motor Power with Convenience Equipment for Pepper and Fruit Vegetable Harvest (고추 및 노지채소 수확작업 편이장치의 구동모터 선정)

  • 노지 고추 수확작업은 100% 인력에 의존하고 있으며 7~9월에 걸쳐 5~6회의 다수의 작업이 수행되어 노동 강도가 크다. 또한 농촌의 고령화와 노동력 감소로 인하여 수확인력의 부족이 발생하고 있음에도 불구하고 시중에 유통되고 있는 고추 및 노지채소 수확작업 편이기기는 동력이 아닌 인력으로 이랑사이를 이동하며 작물을 수확하는 구조로 되어있다. 이는 노동 강도를 줄여주는 효과가 미미하기 때문에 동력이 수반된 편이장치가 필요하며 또한 적절한 모터 및 제어장치가 요구된다. 적절한 모터를 선정함에 있어서 영향을 주는 인자는 주행저항(RR)이며, 구성요소로는 구름마찰저항(Rr), 공기저항(RА), 등판저항(Rg), 가속저항(Ra)이 있으며, 다음과 같은 식으로 정의된다. 주행저항(RR)=구름마찰저항(Rr)+공기저항(RA)+등판저항(Rg)+가속저항(Ra) 구름마찰저항(Rr)=구름마찰저항계수(${\mu}$)${\times}$차량총중량(W) 등판저항(Rg)=차량총중량(W)${\times}Sin{\theta}$ 공기저항(RА), 및 가속저항(Ra)은 1m/s 미만의 속도가 요구되기 때문에 무시할 수 있다. 동력원에서 최종 구동축으로 전달된 동력은 주행장치를 통하여 지면에 전달되고 이 동력에 의해 작업차의 주행장치에 추진력이 발생하며 주행장치의 추진력이 주행저항 이상이 될 때 작업차는 전진하게 된다. 따라서 작업차의 주행속도를 V(m/s), 전동기의 효율을 ${\mu}_m$, 동력전달효율을 ${\mu}_{TD}$라고 하면 다음과 같은 식이 산출된다. 전동기의 소요출력(P)=주행저항(RR)${\times}$속도(V)/전동기의 효율(${\mu}_m$)${\times}$동력전달효율(${\mu}_{TD}$) 구름마찰계수를 0.3이라고 할 때 포장의 경사도와 작업차의 주행속도 변화에 따른 주행소요 동력을 비교하였다. 주행소요동력은 포장의 경사각과 주행속도의 증가와 더불어 증가한다. 고추 및 노지채소 수확작업 편이장치의 작업시 요구되는 주행속도는 일반적으로 0.25m/s, 등반각은 5도이다. 이때 구동 전동기의 출력은 안전율을 고려하여 식에 의해 계산한 결과 1ps으로 산출 되었다. 선정한 구동모터의 감속비는 7.18 : 1, 에너지의 효율은 78 %, 기동토크는14 N/m 이며, 축전지의 경우 구동모터에 기반 하여 구입이 간편하고 상용화 되어있는 연축전지를 사용하여 교체 및 수리가 간단하도록 하였다. 축전지는 12V 18Ah의 축전지 2개를 사용한다.

Functional Verification of Nylon Wire Cutting-Type Holding & Release Mechanism for 6U CubeSat's Solar Panel (나일론선 절단방식 6U 큐브위성용 태양전지판 구속분리장치의 기능검증)

  • Conventional nylon wire cutting-type holding and release mechanisms (HRMs) are limited to securely hold the solar panel under launch environment as the size of the panel increases because the nylon wire is tightened directly on the surface of the solar panel. In this study, we proposed a nylon wire cutting-type HRM for 6U CubeSat's solar panel applying elliptic-shaped bracket with a Ball & Socket interface. The proposed HRM has the advantage of higher holding capability along in-plane and out-of plane directions of solar panel and simplicity in tightening process of nylon wire. The design drivers of structural design of CubeSat's solar panel with the proposed HRM were defined by structural analysis under launch loads. In addition, The design effectiveness of the proposed HRM was verified through the functional tests according to the thickness of nylon wire and the number of wire winding under various temperature conditions.

  • Measuring methods of the blasting vibration were generally divided the. manual method and the automatical method. When using the automatical method, field data of the vibration meter can be transferred to a operation computer by using remote equipments. In this study new automatical system using solar power supply is to be introduced. New automatical system is well suited for the field which is difficult to access and is needed frequent measurements of the blasting vibration. And it can make easy to accumulate the data and control the blasting vibration for safe blasting.

  • In this paper, the fine dust detecting terminal which can transmit data in real time was developed. The terminal used a wide spreading LTE network and was powered by solarcell and battery for easy installation and independent operation, because it did not need the wired power grid or wired communication network. The data showed the possibility of forecasting fine dust changes by analyzing with the data from public meteorologic data. The developed terminal will be helpful for predicting and analyse fine dust's more precise flow and effect on environment with an easy installation on any places.

  • Recently, higher capacity and energy density of lithium ion batteries are increasingly demanded for enhancing their performance in view of the rise in the commercial distribution of electric and hybrid vehicles. Computational analysis of a porous structure of vanadium pentoxide cathode was performed, employing a phase field model. The incipient model was designed as a spherical structure with cylindrical-shaped pores. Modifying the diameters and lengths of the pore cylinder and the number of pores, we considered different conditions for the porous vanadium pentoxide cathodes for analyzing their effect on the amount of lithium ion intercalated to them. Subsequently, we optimized the porous structure to contain the largest amount of intercalated lithium ion during discharge.

  • In this paper, a development of a new 5 d.o.f. underwater manipulator which is actuated by electric motors capable of carrying over 20kg payload and of various operation under the water has been studied. The manipulator for applying to midium-sized AUV or ROV has been designed small and light but to handle a heavy 25kg payload. The joint actuator for the manipulator is designed and builted as a new modular typed double oil jacket for waterproofness. Also, superior joint torque performance of the developed joint actuator has been varified through tests in the air. And, a 5 d.o.f. highly perfomable underwater manipulator has been builted applying the developed underwater joint actuators.

  • Agricultural machines can be viewed as a very important factor to reduce the workforce and reduce production costs as well as keep up with now days trend caused Labor shortages and the workforce reduction by aging in rural. The latest agricultural machinery has developed into a major agricultural industry to apply and integrate the telecommunication, next-generation batteries, semiconductors, wireless communications, content and high-tech display industry technology with a wide range of applications. In this study, to apply the information and communication technologies on agricultural planters relied on a mechanical method, we designed a quick and sophisticated ICT convergence planters that enable to monitor.

DSSC Efficiency Characteristics by Annealing Temperature and Thickness of Electrodes (전극의 두께와 소성 온도에 따른 DSSC의 효율 특성)

  • The photovoltaic performance of DSSCs fabricated with different electrode thickness and different annealing temperature with the P25 $TiO_2$ and the Dyesol $TiO_2$ was measured. Thickness change of $TiO_2$ electrodes was measured using cross-sectional FE-SEM before and after annealing. Photovoltaic efficiencies of DSSCs were also measured by changing annealing temperature of platinum (Pt) paste on the counter electrode. Photovoltaic performances of DSSCs made with one layer of P25 (${\sim}20.4\;{\mu}m$) and one layer of Dyesol $TiO_2$ (${\sim}9.1\;{\mu}m$) annealed at $500^{\circ}C$ for 30 min. showed highest efficiencies of 3.8% and 5.8%, respectively.

Real-time Worker Safety Management System Using Deep Learning-based Video Analysis Algorithm (딥러닝 기반 영상 분석 알고리즘을 이용한 실시간 작업자 안전관리 시스템 개발)

  • The purpose of this paper is to implement a deep learning-based real-time video analysis algorithm that monitors safety of workers in industrial facilities. The worker's clothes were divided into six classes according to whether workers are wearing a helmet, safety vest, and safety belt, and a total of 5,307 images were used as learning data. The experiment was performed by comparing the mAP when weight was applied according to the number of learning iterations for 645 images, using YOLO v4. It was confirmed that the mAP was the highest with 60.13% when the number of learning iterations was 6,000, and the AP with the most test sets was the highest. In the future, we plan to improve accuracy and speed by optimizing datasets and object detection model.

  • Tower crane (T/C) is one of the major equipment that is highly demanded in construction projects. Especially, most high-rise building projects require T/C to perform lifting and hoisting activities of materials. Therefore, lifting plan of T/C needs to reduce construction duration and cost. However, most lifting plan of the T/C in construction sites has still performed depending on experience and intuition of the site manager without systematic process of rational work. Dependency structure matrix (DSM) is useful tool in planning the activity sequences and managing information exchanges unlike other existing tools. To improve lifting plan of T/C efficiently, this study presents a framework for the scheduling T/C using DSM through the case study in real world construction site. The results of case study showed that the scheduling T/C using DSM is useful to optimize the T/C lifting plan in terms of easiness, specially in the typical floor cycle lifting planning.
