The Effect of Community Artifacts and Media Richness Elements on the Experiences of the Social Network Game Users : 'Anypang' Case (커뮤니티 요소와 매체 풍요도 요소가 소셜 네트워크 게임 이용자의 이용경험에 미치는 영향 : '애니팡'을 중심으로)

  • The deployment of social network service(SNS) makes the social network game(SNG) as the new value added service of SNS be popular. But, a few study had identified the reason of this popularity and the elements of SNG. Based on the social presence theory and media richness theory, we had tried to identify three community artifacts (i.e. persistent labeling, self presentation and deep profiling) and two media characteristics(i.e. vividness and interactivity) as the SNG elements in this research. Then we had empirically validated the effect of these elements on the SNGexperience (i.e. social presence, perceived enjoyment) and behavioral intentions (i.e. Continuous usage intention, willingness to pay and loyalty) of the users. We conducted a survey to the actual SNG users. 243 data were collected and analyzed by PLS algorism. The results indicated that the community artifacts mediated by the social presence and media characteristics could significantly affect on the experiences and behavioral intentions. These findings could contribute to identify what element could be the reason of social network game popularity and could also contribute to design more attractive social network game in practice.

  • In the GSM method for OWC-MIMO System, it is important to select an activation pattern set(: APS) for the performance optimization in the environment where mutual interference is high depending on the location of the transmitter and receiver. However, due to the high computational complexity, a high cost is paid in selecting the transmission APS. In this paper, we propose a method to reduce the candidate APS by pre-determining basic APS when generating candidate APS. The simulation results show that the proposed method has the same BER performance and reduce the computational complexity by 90% compared to the general GSM method in the high interfering environment.

  • An electronic micropayment system, one of electronic payment systems, is suitable especially when a small amount of money is to be paid frequently in order to purchase on-line goods (i.e. database search, software distribution, electronic news service, etc). In addition, since the amount of payment is small, possible damages caused by system failures are lower than other payment system. In this paper, a micropayment protocol in electronic commerce environments on the Internet is proposed, based on the PayWord system. And a micropayment electronic commerce system which executes the protocol proposed is implemented. Unlike the PayWord system, however, the micropayment protocol proposed in this paper is designed in such a way that a merchant does not need to request a payment at the end of every business day since a customer cannot purchase goods beyond length of hash chains, which is specified on a certificate. In addition, the system is able to check the validity as well as the duplicate spending of hash chains. The electronic micropayment system with the proposed protocol is consists of Customers, Merchants, and Brokers. Customers are implemented on Windows NT 4.0 using VC++. Merchants are implemented on Solaris 2.5.1 and gcc 2.8.0 using Netscape Web Server and CGI Methods. HP UX 10.20 is used for Brokers.

  • The increase of vehicles stagnations leads to the increasing attention to the way customers pay and a large number of projects on electronic cash system. Tranport system is comprised of a number of advanced technologies, including information processing, communications, control, and electronics. Recently many research on a system which provides contact in order to protect driver's vehicle passage have been carried out. And some potential problems from that system are being reviewed by electronic cash system. In this papers, we suggest RF protocol developing technology using the concept of electronic cash. ATM electronic cash developing is consist of component of pre-developed coin throw, integration of component using its, and production of more requirement-satisfactory ITS solution. Result increase 15$\sim$40% pre-type vehicles stagnations. Especially, we expect this proposed concept would be well adapted to our national environments.

  • With explosively increasing digital contents, library and Information center should have a new role between knowledge providers and knowledge users as information brokering organization. Electronic transaction system should be required for performing this brokering service since economic value is added to information and knowledge in information society. The developments and changes around library are keeping up with increasing building digital library and digitalizing printed sources. With the rapidly changing circumstances, the Internet is currently witnessing an explosive growth. By serving as a virtual information resource. the Internet can dramatically change the way business is conducted and Information is provided. However because of features o( the Internet like openness and information sharing, it has fundamental vulnerabilities in security issues. For Instance, disclosure of private information and line eavesdropping such as password, banking account, transaction data on network and so on are primary obstruction factors to activation of digital contents delivery on network. For high network security and authentication, this paper looks at smart card technologies and proposes multi-authentication protocol based on smart card on open network, implements and analyzes it.

  • In context of e-commerce, negotiation is a procedure to help negotiate between buyer and seller by adjusting their negotiation issues such as price and in terms of payment. We used intelligent agent and mobile device to promote new framework of e-commerce. Moreover, this framework can help buyers and sellers to carry their commercial transactions effectively. In regard to that issue, we need to carry out the research of negotiation agent that can be used in e-commerce fields. In this paper, we modeled the negotiation using CSP for the performance of agent in m-commerce environment. Furthermore we implemented interface for mobile device to extract buyer's requirement and preference easily Besides that we used utility function to make a decision for various evaluation functions and suggestions that are used for evaluation of negotiation issues. A difficulty of generating offer is dependent on the number of negotiation issues and the range of the values. Therefore, if any offer has a number of negotiation issues and the range of values are wide, the search space will be exponentially expanded. There have been many studies fur solving this problem, we applied those techniques to improve the agent's ability of negotiation. For example, a contract can be accomplished by exchanging seller and buyer's offer that is generated by agent to adjust the requisite profit for each party. Finally, we show the improvement of satisfaction as the negotiation is processed.

  • A P2P is a method that can share and exchange on digital resources through a direct connection on personnel without a central server. In this paper, we apply a P2P technology to a traditional electronic commerce method so that a seller and a customer can perform a commercial transaction through a direct communication. As such a result, we propose a new e-Commerce model on P2P environment to assure fairness in commercial transactions. To achieve our goal, we put an escrow server which is responsible for guarantee fair contents delivery and payment for the contents between a seller and a customer. When a customer buys content, he first obtains reputation values implicating reliability for the content and refers to these values to determine purchase. The proposed scheme, we can improve the reliability for the purchasing content and provide the fairness to both a seller and a customer simultaneously.

  • With development of IT technology, B2C Social Commerce makes the change from closed type of transaction to the form of an open trading. Also by dramatically reducing the intermediate distribution and removing distribution costs, it provides goods at unbeatable prices to consumers. Depending on the flow of the times, the business-to-business struggles with the difficulty of PRM management and fast promotion of new products. Therefore, it is required B2B Social Commerce, new platform that can collect distribution and consumption firms in one place which is similar to B2C Social Commerce. Unlike the case of B2C social commerce, B2B Social Commerce should have an essential element, Installment payment system to pay over the period without purchase in accordance with the payment paid as a lump sum. B2B Social Commerce model which is introduced in this study will provide the solution of B2B transaction problems, opening up new markets and bring the expansion of the electronic market.

Effects of Customer Satisfaction by Airline e-Services (항공사 e-서비스가 고객 만족도에 미치는 영향)

  • With the development and generalization of internet and information technology, airlines has tried to reduce their business expenses and commissions to travel agencies and enhance service qualities through service automation and simplification, such as internet booking and ticketing, self check-in, in-flight internet and RFID for checked baggage. The statistical techniques conducted for this empirical analysis are frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, confirmatory factor analysis and multiple regression analysis. This research has tried to examine factors of airline e-services that influence on recommendation re-purchase intention and satisfaction. Results has found that only on-line reservation and ticketing factor had significant effect for recommendation and re-purchase intention and all e-service factors produced significant effect to total satisfaction. It was also recommend that airlines have to provide easy and more familiar e-service system to their passengers to deliver better services.
