Effective Parent-Child Key Establishment Algorithm used ZigBee Sensor Network (ZigBee 센서네트워크에서 효율적인 Parent - Child 키 연결 알고리즘)

  • Coordinator is defining so that function as most trust center that is point in security in ZigBee Alliance. Because must do height connection with coordinator in device signing to PAN newly, coordinator has shortcoming that subordinate is revealed to danger directly to Centered and cattish device. When do height connection some device, do not become problem, but if network is huge, coordinator's subordinate shall increase as traffic quantity which happen in coordinator increases. Also, in ZigBee security to link network kina of transmission and mutually certification in ZigBee Alliance standard include, but I do not provide method to deliver master key in each node safely. Because process that transmit master key passes through channel that do not secure, master key has shortcoming that is revealed directly. In this paper, I suggested Parent-Child key establishment algorithm to solve these problem. Proposed algorithm consists of two structures. Master key establishment algorithm and device that sign to PAN newly that can use one-way Hash chain and transmit master key safety are consisted of Parent-Child network key establishment algorithm that do child node and parent node key establishment as can do key establishment efficiently. Method that device proposes in case method that propose in case have master key establishment time was shown better performance $200{\sim}1300ms$ than existing method, and device does not have master key than existing method height connect time about $400{\sim}500ms$ better performance see.

Design of a Block-Based 2D Discrete Wavelet Transform Filter with 100% Hardware Efficiency (100% 하드웨어 효율을 갖는 블록기반의 이차원 이산 웨이블렛 변환 필터 설계)

  • This paper proposes a fully-utilized block-based 2D DWT architecture, which consists of four 1D DWT filters with two-channel QMF PR Lattice structure. For 100% hardware utilization, we propose a new method which processes four input values at the same time. On the contrary to the image-based 2D DWT which requires large memories, we propose a block-based 2D DWT so that we only need 2MN-3N of storages, where M and N stand for filter lengths and width of the image respectively. Furthermore, the proposed architecture processes in horizontal and vertical directions simultaneously so that it computes the DWT for an $N{\times}N$ image within a period of $N^2(1-2^{-2J})/3$. Compared to existing approaches, the proposed architecture shows 100% of hardware utilization and high throughput rate. However, the proposed architecture may suffer from the long critical path delay due to the cascaded lattices in 1D DWT filters. This problem can be mitigated by applying the pipeline technique with maximum four level. The proposed architecture has been designed with VerilogHDL and synthesized using DongbuAnam $0.18{\mu}m$ standard cell.

Fabrication of MEMS Test Socket for BGA IC Packages (MEMS 공정을 이용한 BGA IC 패키지용 테스트 소켓의 제작)

  • We developed a novel micro-electro mechanical systems (MEMS) test socket using silicon on insulator (SOI) substrate with the cantilever array structure. We designed the round shaped cantilevers with the maximum length of $350{\mu}m$, the maximum width of $200{\mu}m$ and the thickness of $10{\mu}m$ for $650{\mu}m$ pitch for 8 mm x 8 mm area and 121 balls square ball grid array (BGA) packages. The MEMS test socket was fabricated by MEMS technology using metal lift off process and deep reactive ion etching (DRIE) silicon etcher and so on. The MEMS test socket has a simple structure, low production cost, fine pitch, high pin count and rapid prototyping. We verified the performances of the MEMS test sockets such as deflection as a function of the applied force, path resistance between the cantilever and the metal pad and the contact resistance. Fabricated cantilever has 1.3 gf (gram force) at $90{\mu}m$ deflection. Total path resistance was less than $17{\Omega}$. The contact resistance was approximately from 0.7 to $0.75{\Omega}$ for all cantilevers. Therefore the test socket is suitable for BGA integrated circuit (IC) packages tests.

Using play-back image sequence to detect a vehicle cutting in a line automatically (역방향 영상재생을 이용한 끼어들기 차량 자동추적)

  • This paper explains effective tracking method for a vehicle cutting in a line on the road automatically. The method employs KLT based on optical flow using play-back image sequence. Main contribution of this paper is play-back image sequence that is in order image frames for rewind direction from a reference point in time. The moment when recognizing camera can read a license plate very well can usually be the reference point in time. The biggest images of object traced can usually be obtained at this moment also. When optic flow is applied, the bigger image of the object traced can be obtained, the more feature points can be obtained. More many feature points bring good result of tracking object. After the recognizing cameras read a license plate on the vehicle suspected of cut-in-line violation, and then the system extracts the play-back image sequence from the tracking cameras for watching wide range. This paper compares using play-back image sequence as normal method for tracking to using play-forward image sequence as suggested method on the results of the experiment and also shows the suggested algorithm has a good performance that can be applied to the unmanned system for watching cut-in-line violation.

P2P-based Mobility Management Protocol for Global Seamless Handover in Heterogeneous Wireless Network (이기종망에서 글로벌 끊김 없는 핸드오버를 위한 P2P 기반 이동성 관리 프로토콜)

  • In this article, we propose a P2P-based mobility management protocol for global seamless handover in heterogeneous wireless networks. Unlike previous mobility management protocols such as IETF MIPv4/6 and its variants, the proposed protocol can support global seamless handover without changing the existing network infrastructure. The idea of the proposed protocol is that the location management function for mobility management is separately supported from packet forwarding function, and bidirectional IP tunnels for packet transmission are dynamically constructed between two end-to-end mobile hosts. In addition, early handover techniques have been developed to avoid large handover delays and packet losses using the IEEE 802.21 Media Independent Handover functions. The architecture and signaling procedure of the proposed protocol have been designed in detail, and the mathematical analysis and simulation have been done for performance evaluation. The performance results show that the proposed protocol outperforms the existing MIPv6 and HMIPv6 in terms of handover latency and packet loss.

Localization of A Moving Vehicle using Backward-looking Camera and 3D Road Map (후방 카메라 영상과 3차원 도로지도를 이용한 이동차량의 위치인식)

  • In this paper, we propose a new visual odometry technique by combining a forward-looking stereo camera and a backward-looking monocular camera. The main goal of the proposed technique is to identify the location of a moving vehicle which travels long distance and comes back to the initial position in urban road environments. While the vehicle is moving to the destination, a global 3D map is updated continuously by a stereo visual odometry technique using a graph theorem. Once the vehicle reaches the destination and begins to come back to the initial position, a map-based monocular visual odometry technqieu is used. To estimate the position of the returning vehicle accurately, 2D features in the backward-looking camera image and the global map are matched. In addition, we utilize the previous matching nodes to limit the search ranges of the next vehicle position in the global map. Through two navigation paths, we analyze the accuracy of the proposed method.

A Study on Applying The DO-178C to The Control SW Development of The Military Aircraft Intercom Based on CMMI (CMMI 기반 군 항공기 인터콤 탑재용 제어 소프트웨어 개발에 대한 DO-178C 적용 연구)

  • The DO-178C guide, which is referenced as the software development guide when a certification of the airworthiness in the commercial airplane is acquired by FAA in US, is recently referenced for the local military aircraft airworthiness. This indicates that when the auditor of the military aircraft airworthiness looks over the software development documents, the auditor reviews if all of the documents are verified in accordance with the DO-178C guide. However, when we developed the military aircraft intercom, We developed its control software in accordance with the CMMI level 3, since there were no requirements for the compliance of the DO-178C guide. Therefore, When we consider the airworthiness of this intercomm system, The analysis for how much the software development based on the CMMI level 3 is different from the DO-178C guide is needed to prepare the essential software documents additionally. Thus, This study analyzes the differences between CMMI level 3 and DO-178C guide and provides that which data on the CMMI level 3 is necessary for the compliance of the aircraft airworthiness comparing with the DO-178C. The analyzed result can be applied at the software development of the other military aircraft avionics equipment based on the CMMI model environment considering the compliance of the military aircraft airworthiness.

  • 본 논문에서는 그룹별 가변 길이 직교코드 다중화를 이용한 OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) 전송방식의 제안하고, 그룹별로 동일한 부반송파 개수를 가정하여 코드 길이에 따른 시스템 성능과 복잡도를 분석함으로써 최적의 시스템 파라미터들을 결정한다. 제안된 방식에서는 상호 상관성이 낮은 부반송파들로 동일 반송파 그룹으로 구분함으로써 부반송파 전체를 다수의 부반송파 그룹으로 나누고, 그룹마다 부반송파 개수와 동일한 길이의 직교코드들을 사용하여 다중화하여 전송한다. 따라서, 제안된 시스템을 사용하면 적절한 시스템 파라미터의 선정을 통하여 부반송파 전체를 하나의 그룹으로 하는 기존의 직교코드 다중화 방식에[2] 비하여 다이버시티 이득은 유지하면서 시스템 복잡도를 크게 줄일 수 있다. 또한, 제안된 직교코드 다중화 전송방식에서는 수신기에서 직교코드들간의 직교성 복원이 필수적이며, 수신기에서 불완전한 채널등화는 인접한 직교코드들 간에 상호 간섭을 유발하는 요인이 된다. 따라서, 채널추정 오류의 정도가 증가함에 따라 직교코드들 간의 상호 간섭으로 인하여 증가하는 비트오류를 줄이기 위하여 채널추정 오류의 정도에 따라 블록길이와 블록 인터리버 구조를 조절하여 시스템을 최적화 한다. 가변 길이 직교코드로는 길이에 상관 없이 직교성을 유지하며 에너지의 균등 분배가 가능한 DFT (discrete Fourier transform) 코드를 사용한다. 최적 시스템 파라미터를 결정하기 위하여 모의실험을 통하여 코드 길이에 따른 시스템 성능을 분석한다. 또한, 채널추정 오류가 존재하는 경우에 시스템 성능을 분석한다. 마지막으로, 채널 부호화를 적용하는 경우에 시스템 파라미터들을 최적화함으로써 부호화 이득이 시스템 성능과 시스템 복잡도 감소, 채널추정 오류의 극복에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. nature, in contrast to physical theories that are of a geometrical nature. Fabrication of a Schottky Type Ultraviolet Photodetector Using GaN Layer (GaN를 이용한 Schottky diode형 자외선 수광소자의 제작)

  • We fabricated a planar ultra-violet photodetector whose ohmic and schottky contacts were respectively formed with evaporated Al and Pt on the GaN layer. To examine the applicability of the device to the UV sensor, we investigated its electrical and optical characteristics. The GaN layer on the sapphire waver had $7.8{\times}10^{16}cm^{-3}$ of doping concentnation and the $138 cm^2/V{\cdot}s$ of electron mobility and it absorbed the spectrum of the light below 325 nm wavelength. It had the responsivity of 2.8 A/W of at 325 nm, and the signal to noise ratio(SNR) of $4{\times}10^4$, and the noise equivalent power(NEP) of $3.5{\times}10^9$W under 5 V reverse bias. These results confirmed that the GaN schottky diode had a solar blind properly when it was applied to the UV photodetector.

Simple Mobility Management Protocol Based on P2P for Global IP Mobility Support (글로벌 IP 이동성 지원을 위한 P2P 기반 간단한 이동성 관리 프로토콜)

  • Most of the previous mobility management protocols such as IETF MIPv4/6 and its variants standardized by the IETF do not support global seamless handover because they require partially changes of the existing network infrastructure. In this article, we propose a simple mobility management protocol (SMMP) which can support global seamless handover between homogeneous or heterogeneous wireless networks. To do this, the SMMP employs separate location management function as DMMS to support global user and service mobility and the bidirectional tunnels are dynamically constructed to support seamless IP mobility by using the IEEE MIH extension server, which is extended the IEEE 802.21 MIH standards. The detailed architecture and functions of the SMMP have been designed. Finally, the mathematical analysis and the simulation have been done. The performance results show the proposed SMMP outperforms the existing MIPv6 and HMIPv6 in terms of handover latency, packet loss, pear signal noise ratio (PSNR).
