본 논문에서는 한글 문서 검색 시스템에서 자연어 질의어로 검색할경우, 질의어를 주제어와 참조어로 나누어 재구성하여 검색하는 방법을 제시하였다. 먼저 주제어로 전문검색을 하여 후보 카드들을 추출한 후 비주제어로 다시 본문 탐색을 하여 추출된 카드의 가중치를 재조정함으로써 카드추출의 정확성을 높였다. 이 논문에 제시된 방법의 실험은 한국전자통신연구소 언어정보연구실에서 개발한 멀티미디어 전자 백과 사전의 자연어 검색모듈에서 행하여 졌다. 이 방법으로 별다른 검색속도의 저하나, 저장공간의 추가가 없이 기존의 검색 방법에서보다 약 58%정도의 검색의 정확성이 올라갔다. 본 논문에서 제시한 검색의 방법은 여러가지 응용의 자연어 인터페이스에서 데이타를 검색하는 정보검색의 분야에 적용되어 정확성을 높일 수 있을 것이다.

무선인터넷 접속 프로토콜의 사실상 국제표준이라 할 수 있는 WAP 프로토콜의 규격을 제정하는 WAP 포럼에서는 인증서 및 비밀키의 저장, 그리고 암/복호화 및 전자서명/검증 등의 연산을 지원하기 위한 무선인증모듈 규격을 정의하고 있다. 스마트카드로 구현되는 무선인증모듈의 사용 형태를 고려할 때, 다양한 플랫폼에서의 사용과 사용자의 이동성 지원, 그리고 무선인증모듈을 이용한 정보보호 특성 보장은 필수적인 요구조건이다. 본 논문은 무선인증모듈을 스마트카드로 구현함에 있어 멀티 애플리케이션을 지원하고, 기능 확장성을 보장하기 위한 PKCS #15 기반의 무선인증모듈 설계와 구현 결과를 보인다. 본 논문에서는 접촉형 스마트카드에 대한 국제규격인 ISO/IEC 7816 시리즈 규격을 준수한 설계를 보이고, 지수승 모듈러 연산을 하드웨어적으로 지원받아 RSA 1024 비트 암/복호화 및 전자서명/검증을 처리하는 결과를 보인다.

인터넷과 전자상거래가 활성화됨에 따라 인터넷상에서의 보다 안전하고 다양한 기능을 수행할 수 있는 지불수단이 필요하게 되었다. 스마트 카드는 안전성과 이동성이 뛰어나기 때문에, 전자상거래상의 일들을 수행하기에 적합하다. 특히, 스마트 카드의 차세대 COS로 주목받는 Java Card는 어플리케이션의 개발의 용이성과, 뛰어난 독립성을 제공하므로, 효율적인 개발을 할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 지불에 관련된 쇼핑몰 마일리지 통합 관리 시스템의 개발을 제안함으로써 다양한 로열티 서비스 제공에 대하여 연구하였다. 제안된 시스템은 Java Card 내에 저장되는 한 개인의 독립적인 프로그램으로서, Java Card의 연산기능을 이용하여 서로 다른 마일리지 체계를 가지는 이종 쇼핑몰간의 통합마일리지를 직접 계산하고, 적립할 수 있는 카드 어플리케이션을 제안하였다.

본 논문은 최소한의 정보량을 가지고 높은 안전성을 제공하는 타원곡선과 스마트 카드의 PIN을 동시에 이용하는 전자 지불 프로토콜을 제안한다. 타원 곡선 공개키 암호 알고리즘의 이용은 지불과정에서 필요한 계산 속도를 빠르게 함으로써 실제로 지불 시스템을 구현하였을 때 보다 효율적이고 편리한 이용환경을 제공할 수 있고 알고리즘과 스마트 카드의 고유 PIN을 이용하기 때문에 가지는 높은 안전성은 사용자들에게 지불시스템에 대한 신뢰성을 가지게 할 수 있다. 이와 같이 타원곡선 공개키 암호 알고리즘과 스마트 카드를 통하여 설계된 지불 시스템은 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서도 효과적으로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

ISO/IEC14443-1(1), ISO/IEC10536-1(2), 그리고 ISO/IEC15693-1(3)에서 정의하고 있는 비접촉식 카드의 교류전기장 및 교류자기장에 대한 내성력 시험에 대해 살펴보고자 한다. 상기 규격은 ISO/IEC JTC1 기술위원회의 SC17에서 다루고 있으며, 아직 상기 표준 규격은 초안 상태에 있어 상세한 시험 방법에 대한 규격이 마련되어 있지 않은 실정이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 칩 카드 수입국은 수출업자에게 교류전기장 및 교류자기장 내성시험을 요구하고 있다. 따라서 업계에서는 시험 시설, 시험 방법, 시험 절차, 시험 평가 부분에서 많은 혼란이 발생되고 있다. 이러한 시험에 대한 대응책이 국가적 차원에서 시급히 마련되어야 할 것이다. 본 고에서는 이를 위한 일련의 과정으로서, 칩 카드 관련 국제 규격(1)-(5) 동향을 살펴보고, 교류전기장 및 교류자기장 내성력 시험 절차를 마련하기 위한 관점에서 IEC61000 시리즈 중에서 RF 복사 내성시험인 IEC61000-4-3(6), IEC61000-4-8, IEC61000-4-9, IEC61000-4-10, IEC61000-4-23(7)에 대한 분석을 동시에 실시하였다.

With explosive growth in the area of the Internet and IT services, various types of digital contents are generated and circulated, for instance, as converted into digital-typed, secure electronic records or reports, which have high commercial value, e-tickets and so on. However, because those digital contents have commercial value, high-level security should be required for delivery between a consumer and a provider with non face-to-face method in online environment. As a digital contents, an e-ticket is a sort of electronic certificate to assure ticket-holder's proprietary rights of a real ticket. This paper focuses on e-ticket as a typical digital contents which has real commercial value. For secure delivery and use of digital contents in on/off environment, this paper proposes that 1) how to generate e-tickets in a remote e-ticket server, 2) how to authenticate a user and a smart card holding e-tickets for delivery in online environment, 3) how to save an e-ticket transferred through network into a smart card, 4) how to issue and authenticate e-tickets in offline, and 5) how to collect and discard outdated or used e-tickets.

Smart cards are currently used in about 150 locales, including the metropolitan ares, and are utilized as a policy base for various public areas, including public transportation, bus fares, and public transportation requirements. However, excluding the metropolitan area and some metropolitan areas, there are many areas where the existing BIS data was unable to match station information on the data and Smart cards itself are not available on the bus stop information by the line. The purpose of this research was to produce bus stop information generated by the bus stop based on the bus route, and the actual stop information generated by the model presented in the study was derived by matching the actual station information.

In this paper, we propose a new optical security technique using two phase masks based on interferometer. A binary random phase image is used as a reference image and the encrypted image is generated according to the phase difference between the reference image and the original image. If there is no phase difference of a same pixel position in two phase masks, interference intensity of the pixel has minimum value and if phase difference of a same pixel position in two phase masks is $\pi$, its interference intensity has maximum value. We can decrypt the original image by putting two phase masks on each of the two optical paths of the Mach-Zehnder interferometer. Computer simulation and the optical experiments show a good performance of the proposed optical security system.

With increase of internet users, usage frequency of e-mail card is growing up. In addition to advantage of delivering message in real-time, e-mail card contains words, animation and sound. So users can enjoy it's multiple characters. For these reasons, there is a shift in preference from traditional card to e-mail card especially in young age. In character portal sites sewing users with e-mail card it is regarded as useful media for character promotion. After bizarre rabbit 'Mashimaro' wins a great success as Flash animation, Flash card has been treated as an important media in character business. As the study on the aesthetic motive in Flash card, this thesis analyzes what is the meaning existing in characteristic expression of Flash card and proposes that the meaning is related to tension reduction from the viewpoint of entropy principle. We can summarize that contents of animation are based on striving toward simplicity and expressions of animation are based on catabolism. Both lead to pleasure of tension reduction. We can draw conclusion that pleasure of tension reduction becomes one of major factors of the aesthetic motive felt in Flash card.
