In order to respond to the public needs to utilize the newspapers as high-valued information resources, the number of the commercially available news items which are transformed into a form of database has been remarkably increased by the introduction of CTS into the newspaper companies. As for the domestically available Japanese and foreign newspaper article database, explanations are given to the following items. 1) Characteristics of database, such as date of coverage, frequency updating, time-lag, news sources, search terms, available information, etc. 2) Matters to be noticed at the utilization. 3) Pattern of utilization depending on the object of the investigation, such as the investigation of company, market trend, etc. Since the newspaper article database will be available in a form of digitized information, making the combination with the inter-company LAN system possible, increased opportunities to use it in near future are expected.

컴퓨터와 통신망 기술의 발전으로 많은 언론 기관에서 전자신문 서비스를 제공하고 있다. 그러나 현재 서비스되는 전자신문은 텍스트 위주의 정적인 정보를 주고 서비스 하며, 사용자가 필요한 정보를 찾아 다니는 pull 기술을 기반으로 서비스한다. 그리고 사용자 맞춤 기능을 제공하기 못하므로, 불필요한 정보를 사용자에게 전송함으로써 시스템 자원을 낭비하는 단점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 데이터를 지원하는 NOD(News On Demand)시스템에서 텍스트 데이터 뿐아니라 오디오/비디오 데이터를 push 하므로써 서버의 load를 분배시키고 사용자에게 실시간성을 제공하는 NOD 분배 서버를 설계하고 프로토타입을 구현하였다. 특히 본 논문에서는 대용량 데이터인 오디오/비디오 데이터를 사용자 시스템으로 Push할 때, 사용자 시스템의 디스크 공간상태 등을 고려하여 실시간성을 유지할 수 있는 적정 Push 량을 시뮬레이션을 통해 측정하였다.

The purpose of this study is to review what the Rodong Shinmun newspaper which represents the social communication of North Korea seeks, to search that the newspaper of North Korea consider the libraries to do certain roles in North Korea, and to review how these things, Rodong Shinmun and library, have developed themselves from historical and cultural aspects. First, it was reviewed whether the Rodong Shinmun and library had been closely related each other. Then, it was analyzed whether the formats and contents of the articles related with the libraries in the Rodong Shinmun had certain particular points or not. As the results, the 62 articles which were related with libraries were searched from 1971 to 2012 in the Rodong Shinmun and they had been analyzed by the aspects of subjects and styles. It was revealed that the actions of libraries in North Korea had been the special characteristics in formats and ways.

본회 전자상거래팀에서는 그동안 정부의 지원아래 시범적으로 구축해온 전자상거래 시범 시스템을 한국전자거래협회 및 전자신문사의 후원으로 "(전자업종)B2B 전자상거래 정책 및 시스템 운영 발표회"를 지난 4월 25일 무역센터 49층 대회의실에서 150여명이 참석한 가운데 개최하였다. 이에 본고에서는 '2001 B2B 전자상거래 추진정책과 전자업종 B2B 전자상거래 시범시스템 구축에 대하여 다루어 봄으로 정부지원으로 개발된 전자업종 B2B 전자상거래 시범 시스템을 전자업계에 공개함으로써 현실화 되고 있는 e비즈니스의 현주소를 점검하고 전자업계의 e비즈니스 환경 구축을 지원할 계획이다.

전자상거래는 거래의 많은 부분을 차지할 수 있는 잡지, 신문, 음악, 소프트웨어 등의 거래에 필요한 소액 지불수단이 필요하다. 이러한 요구조건을 만족시기 위해서는 과도한 암호화 부담을 줄이고 처리비용을 낮추는 것이 필요한데 가장 잘 된 프로토콜로는 Millicent가 꼽인다. 본 연구에서는 Millicent의 구현 방안에 대하여 고려해 본다.
