A Study on Java COS for Devices Which Have Safe Power System (전력공급이 안정된 장치들을 위한 자바 COS에 관한 연구)

  • Legacy Java card which adapts a Java platform loads and executes an application when electronics power is provided. However, recently the most Java cards are embedded into a mobile terminal as USIM cards, therefore the power is continually provided for the smart cards. In this case, operation of a Java card system needs to consider its operating system to be advanced in memory management, object management and transaction mechanism. In this paper, we present a high performance Java Card system which is able to have efficient installation, loading and execution of application by applying a new memory management of the smart card that has safe power system.

  • 최근 생활수준의 향상과 정보통신 산업의 급속한 발전으로 인하여 전 세계적으로 전력품질에 대한 관심이 높아져, 각종 전력품질 개선장치로부터 최적 공급시스템에 이르기까지 다양한 각도에서 전력품질을 향상하기 위한 연구개발이 수행되고 있으며, 특히 정보통신기기 및 정밀제어기기 등의 보급증가로 전압품질에 대한 관심이 높아져가고 있다. 또한 전력소비는 증가하고 있지만 환경문제, 부지확보 문제로 인한 대형 발전 설비의 확충이 어렵고, 전력산업 구조개편으로 인해 분산전원의 도입이 적극 검토되고 있다. 지금까지 배전계통의 전압 관리는 배전용변전소 ULTC(Under Load Tap Changer)와 고압배전선로의 주상변압기에 의해 조정되어 왔다. 하지만 배전용변전소와 고압배전선로의 선로전압조정장치가 서로 독립적으로 운용되고 있기 때문에 선로전압조정장치의 효율성이 떨어지고 있는 실정이다. 또한 분산전원이 도입 한계량에 대한 연구도 지속적으로 이루어지고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 배전계통에서의 최적 전압조정을 위한 전압조정 장치와 분산전원의 도입한계량의 협조 운용 방안을 제시하고자 한다.[1]

A Study on Thermal Management of Stack Supply Gas of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell System for Ship Applications (선박 전원용 고체산화물형 연료전지(SOFC) 시스템의 스택 공급 가스의 열관리 문제에 관한 연구)

  • In this research, the fuel cell system model capable of generating codes in real time was developed to construct of a HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop) for a SOFC-powered ship. Moreover, the effects of the distribution of the exhaust gas flow rates in a stack, the flow rates of fuels and temperature of air supplied on the temperature characteristics of fuels supplied to the cathode and the anode, the output power of the stack and system efficiency are examined to minimize the temperature difference between fuels supplied to the stack used in a 500kW SOFC system using methane as a fuel. As a result, the temperatures of fuels supplied to the cathode and the anode maintain at 830K when the opening factor of three-way valve located at outlet of turbine is 0.839. Also the process for optimization of methane flow rate considering the fuel cell stack and system efficiency is required to increase the temperatures of fuels supplied to the stack.

  • The efficiently power management Is an important requirement traditionally in the mobile communication system which uses battery as their power source. Especially, it has been emphasized in the most recent devices, which has to provide high performance and various functions with an extended operating time. In this article, the adaptive Power management technique for the core processor unit in embedded systems used widely for the mobile system thanks to its advantage on power consumption and physical site, is proposed.

  • Including the rolling black out in 2011, Korea has suffered from rapid increase of electricity consumption and demand forecasting failure for last five years. In addition, because of the Fukushima disaster, high fuel prices, and introduction of new generation sources such as renewables, the uncertainty on a power supply strategy increases. Consequently, a stable power supply becomes the new agenda and a revisino of strategy for new power generation sources is needed. In the light of this, we appraises the sixth basic plan for long term electricity demand and supply considering the changes of foreign and domestic conditions. We also simulate a strategy for the new power generation sources using a portfolio analysis method. As results, a diversity of power generation sources will increase and the share of renewable power generation will be surged on the assumptions of a cost reduction of renewable power sources and an increase of fuel costs. Particularly, on the range of a risk level(standard deviation) from 0.06 and 0.09, the efficient frontier has the most various power sources. Besides, the existing power plan is not efficient so that an improvement is needed. Lastly, the development of an electricity storage system and energy management system is necessary to make a stable and efficient power supply condition.

  • This paper presents the battery management system(BMS) for the optimum conditions of the lead-Acid battery in UPS. The proposed system control the currents and voltages of battery for optimum conditions to estimate the State Of Charge(SOC) in charge or discharge mode. It proved the performance and the algorithm for the estimation of SOC, through the experiments which using the charge and discharge tester and the field tests.

  • Recently, the development for USV-related technologies are actively growing up in military domain. The USV (unmanned surface vehicle) conducts various missions for national defense at maritime environment. For succeed the missions, the USV essentially needs an automatic and remote control platform which includes propulsion system, steering system, control system, power system and so on. In this paper, we developed an integrated control system for the platform equipments and verified effectiveness of the developed system. To do this, we designed a system architecture and implemented a main control system that processes and controls platform equipments by received command. Also we developed components of designed architecture such as engine control device, water-jet control device and power control device. For test and verify the developed system, we designed and made a test-bed of engine and water-jet with related parts, and proceeded a basin test for verifying the developed system based on the test-bed.

  • This paper is concerned to remote monitoring It management system on the bring up house of agricultural, lomestic animal, aquatic products. That is necessary for traffic network and monitoring unit for transmission the environment data of temperature, humidity and electric etc.. This study is executed the experimental research for structure of system. which are composed sensing interface, multi-processing, traffic network and algorithm. Result, that is respected the effective management, increase of produce and prevent of calamity on the bring up house by low cost of set & remain.

  • 본 논문에서 거푸집의 가장취약 부분인 접합부위에 로드센서를 부착하여 실시간 콘크리트 측압을 측정 할 수 있으며, 관리자는 모니터링을 통하여 확인 할 수 있도록 하며 LORA의 저전력 장거리 통신망을 사용하는 디바이스를 개발하여 로드센서에 측정한 값을 데이터변경, 웹 기반의 클라우드 서비스로 발송하여 PC 및 Mobile로 확인 할 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 여러가지 센서로부터 데이터를 수신하여 모바일로 송신해 주는 무선송수신기의 개발을 원하고 있으며, 하중센서, 경사도센서, 풍향센서 등 다중 데이터값을 수신할 수 있어야 한다. 이렇게 구성된 센서와 데이터의 수신을 통해서 콘크리트 타설시 발생하는 측압을 측정하고 공사기간 동안 별도의 전원 공급 없이 작동이 유지될 수 있는 시스템을 구축하였다. 수요자가 Application과 호환이 이루어져야 하며 또한 MEMS센서를 이용하여 상태를 모니터링 하고 임계값을 지정하여 이상 신호 발생시 위험상황에 대해서 인공지능기법을 이용하여 관리자에게 알림을 주어 효과적으로 사용할 수 있는 시스템을 개발하였다.
