The purposes of the study are to investigate the experiences of major stakeholders (i.e. science teachers, program instructors, local experts, etc.) who participated in implementing Community-Based Socioscientific Issues Programs (SSI-COMM) and to provide educational implications for further implementation. SSI-COMM dealt with three issues (i.e. abandoned pets, fine dust, and recycling) that students often encountered in their local community. Each program, lasting over 16 class periods in a free semester, included in-school and out-of-school activities in order to promote their interest and participation in community. Four teachers, four program instructors, and six local experts joined the interviews to explain their experience of participating in the programs. As a result, school teachers, program instructors, and local experts positively appreciated their experiences of the program implementation and perceived educational potentials of SSI-COMM. All the stakeholders mentioned that they became more interested in local socioscientific issues and strongly perceived the need for the implementation of such programs linked to their own community. The science teachers appreciated the opportunities to identify students' potentials through SSI-COMM and believed that SSI-COMM would contribute to reducing the gap between learning and practice. The program instructors, observed that out-of-school activities contributed to enhancing students' self-confidence and fulfillment in learning. Finally, the local experts obtained a sense of belonging to their community and were very satisfied with their contribution. The SSI-COMM programs are expected to be one of the educational models that will help to encourage the participation of students and stakeholders in facilitating educational activities in relation to the community.

This research aimed to develop problem creating worksheets as a teaching & learning material for problem solving activities and assess its effectiveness. Activity worksheets for creative problem development were established. The effectiveness of the problem-creating classes taught to gifted students in invention was evaluated. In addition, effective strategies for encouraging problem creating and question making in teaching & learning processes were explored. The creative problem identification activity consisted of 5 steps, which are idea creation, convergence, execution, and evaluation. The results showed that elementary and middle school students taught in the classes using this problem-identification worksheet were highly satisfied with the program. This study concluded that it requires an educational environment, government level collaboration, and support to create a mature social atmosphere and educational environment motivating students to keep asking questions and identify problems. Through continual modification, additional ongoing efforts to increase the credibility and the quality of the worksheets as a creative problem solving and learning tool will be needed.

With the advent of lifelong learning society, most of the cities in Korea have been promoting the construction of lifelong learning city. At this point, the purpose of this study is to configure regional learning programs and apply them to the actual world. Important results of this study can be outlined as follows; First, the regional learning programs in the lifelong learning society are desirable to be configurated with the situated learning method focused on the characteristics of learners, instructors and the local contexts. In addition, the active training of regional human resources such as organizing learning circles and SERVICE-LEARNING through the participation of them is effective as a teaching method. Secondly, the consequence through the field excursion calling itself 'the geography exploration group', organized by the researcher and involved with participants together provoked the paradigm shift on their region and the regional identity. Thirdly, the active participation of local experts including geography teachers should be needed for the popularization of geography education. Hence, if we continue to develop the local learning programs tailored to regional traits and apply them to the actual world, geography education will play an important role to build the stable foundation in the lifelong learning society.

With the reformation of organization and function of local office of education in 2010, consulting-supervision is introduced to schools as a system for education reform to improve the quality of school education. However, a dedicated on-line portal system that can provide integrated management on the functionalities of consulting-supervision has not been implemented yet. To successfully operate consulting-supervision in schools, it is also needed to provide an on-line consultant education system, that can support teachers to train themselves as a supervision-consultant. In this paper, we introduce an on-line consultant training system that provides various learning activity tools for consultant training based on Learning Activity Management System(LAMS) and Action Learning. The system consists of Management stage, Analysis stage, Solution stage, and Action stage for the empowerment of consultants' expertises, and is named as MASA. Brain-writing, SWOT(Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, and Threads) analysis, 5Whys, decision grid, PMI(Plus, Minus, Interesting), and black chart techniques were developed in MASA as learning activity tools for consultant training.

The purpose of this study was the development of green technology education program for elementary school creative activities. The result of this study were follow. Basically this program was developed through three steps of preparation, development and improvement. First, in the preparation step, Need analysis were analyzed by investigation the needs of the society. Then the themes of this program were determined by thestages based on the National and social issues. Second, in the development step, the following was included. 1) Begin with Setting up education goals of this program. 2) selecting of learning object and content. 3) structuring educational program. The purpose of the study was to analyze the home economics education experts' and teachers' perception of ways to align instruction with evaluation, based on the 2015 revised technology and home economics curriculum for the purpose of developing the independent living competencies, and to provide examples of alignment in practice. The analysis is based on the data from a Delphi study (10 experts) and a survey of technology and home economics teachers(n=422). The results of survey indicated that experts and teachers perceived the instruction-assessment alignment to be most appropriate for project learning-project assessment, followed by project learning-portfolio assessment, problem solving learning-portfolio assessment, and problem solving learning-project assessment, in order. Based on the survey results, a model of instruction-assessment alignment and a teaching-learing plan were presented, based on 'Development task of life cycle and Life plan' unit. This was considered to be a proper method of instructional alignment for the purpose of developing 'independent living competence' with project-learning/project-assessment. The model focuses on consistency between instruction and evaluation, unity in methods, and the availablility of feedbacks of assessment for the improvement of independent living competencies. In conclusion, this study contributes as foundational information for teaching and learning-assessment alignment. Diverse methods of instruction-evaluation alignment is expected for future research.

This study was designed to implement Activity-Orientated Career Education for college students, using the web-based interface. A draft web interface was designed by Rapid Prototyping and was thereafter taken to experts to review and determine the designs, in order to achieve the purpose of the study. Firstly, the sequence of activities of career education was run in accordance with the systematic order of Action Learning, in order to understand the overall design direction. Secondly, the design of the study may result in virtuous cycle-to-cycle. According to two major design directions, on the learning environment platform, the interface consisted of, knowing who I am; knowing who others think I am, knowing the job world; career decisions; career action plans; action planning; individual and co-evaluation; reflection; etc. These steps were designed to be implemented in accordance with strong interactivity of Wiki and Web 2.0 designs. This study was able to implement career education experiences centered around the activities of students at university, as well as experts, in order to increase the accessibility of Career Based Education on the web.

본 연구는 교사연수용 통합적 환경교육자료 개발을 위해 수행되었다. 기존의 환경교육 관계 자료의 검토 분석, 전문가 협의회를 통한 개발 방향의 검토, 현행 초 중등 교과서 환경교육 관련 내용의 분석을 통해서 통합적인 환경교육자료 개발의 필요성과 방향을 정립하였다. 개발되는 자료는 환경 교육의 기초 부분과 교수 학습 활동 부분으로 크게 나누어서 앞 부분에는 기본 개념과 원리 등의 내용으로 구성하였으며 뒷 부분은 환경교육 각 영역에 관련되는 실제 활동 위주로 구성하는 것이 바람직하다는 결론을 얻었다. 그 주요 내용은 환경의 구성, 환경문제, 환경 교육의 방향, 인구문제와 환경오염, 산업화와 환경오염, 공기오염, 물의 오염, 토양 오염, 그 밖의 오염으로 구성하기로 하였다.

영재교육이 우리나라의 미래를 좌우한다는 생각은 이제 매우 설득력을 얻고 있지만 구체적인 학습자료와 이론이 여전히 부족한 상태이다(1999,김주봉). 수학 캠프의 활동에 관한 교육 프로그램은 더욱더 찾아보기 힘들다. 대구광역시 동부교육청 시범영재학급에서는 03년 1월 9일부터 11일까지 2박3일간 동부 계명대학교 자연과학부 백은관에서 영재캠프를 개최하였다. 이번 캠프는 주제탐구중심의 캠프로서 협동심과 창의력중심으로 전국 최초로 이루어졌고, 4학년 22명, 5학년 21명, 6학년 24명 총 67명과 담당장학사1명, 진행도우미 8명, 운영교수진 8명, 체험학습 강사10명 총94명이 참가하였다. 프로그램은 영재교육의 전문가인 교수와 초 중등 현직교사들에 의하여 운영되었고, 프로그램 계획 수립 및 진행총괄은 담당장학사와 본 연구자가 진행하였다. 학생들의 수준의 차이가 적지 않는 데다가 본 연구자는 4개월 동안 캠프를 준비하여 학생들로부터 캠프에 대한 소감을 통하여 결과가 긍정적인 내용이 많아서 매우 성공적인 캠프가 이루어 졌다고 생각한다. 본 고에서는 캠프일정과 운영. 교육프로그램, 주제탐구물 결과에 대하여 살펴볼 것이다.

본 연구의 목적은 현재 사용하고 있는 초등학교용 영어 멀티미디어 CD 타이틀의 평가 준거를 교육 공학 전문가, 교사들의 의견을 수렴하여 개발하는 것이다. 따라서, 초등학교용 영어 멀티미디어 CD 타이틀의 평가 준거를 도출하기 위해 초등학교용 영어 멀티미디어 CD 타이틀과 관련된 분야에서 활동하는 총 25인의 전문 인력을 대상으로 2차에 걸친 델파이 연구를 실시하였다. 프로그램의 적합성, 표현상의 적합성, 교육과정의 적합성, 교수-학습상의 4개 영역과 하위 16개 문항이 개발되었다. 이 연구를 통해서 제시될 평가 준거들은 초등학생에게 효과적인 학습 경험을 제공하고자 원하는 교사 및 프로그램 개발자에게 프로그램을 선정, 평가, 활용하는데 기초적인 시사점을 제공할 수 있다. 또한 초등학교용 멀티미디어 CD 타이틀을 제작하는 제작자들에게는 이전의 프로그램을 진단하고 평가하는데 도움을 주고 아프으로 제작될 프로그램의 제작에필요한 자료로도 활용될 수 있다는 의의를 가진다.
