Research for establishing a model of optimizing civilian withdrawal plan for the border area (접경지역 최적 주민철수 계획수립을 위한 모형 연구)

  • Purpose: This research proposes an optimization model for effective evacuation routing and scheduling of civilians near the border area when full-scale war threats heighten. Method: To reflect the reality, administrative unit network is created using Kruscal's Algorithm, Harmony Search, CCRP based on the geographical features, population, and traffic data of real cities, and then, optimal civilian evacuation routes are found. Results: Optimal evacuation routes and schedules are computed by repetitive experiments, and it is found that the scenario that minimizes the average civilian evacuation time is effective for the civilian evacuation plan. Conclusion: By using the civilian evacuation plan this research proposes, at the time of establishing the actual civilian evacuation plan, quantitative analysis is used for the effective plan making rather than only depending.

  • In order to evaluate the effect of various cultural methods developed during last 30 years on grain yield of wheat and barley and structure of plant stand for uptake of nutrient and water, solar energy use and com-petitive capacity with weed, 10 kinds of cultural practices were compared in the clayey upland soil. Row fertilization is more effective for uptake of N,P and K than rotary fertilization. Weed occurrence was deeply related with width of non-seeded area in the row and affected yield decrease. Winter injury was more serious in the cultural practices with thick plant community than in those with isolated individual plant. Root distribution was more remarkable in drill seeding or broadcasting than row seeding and had positively correlated with water consumption of barley.

  • 인터넷 포털 대전쟁이 시작됐다. 한국 통신시장을 사실상 양분하고 있는 KT와 SK텔레콤이 인터넷 포털 사업에 포문을 열고 시장재편을 위한 움직임을 본격화하면서다. KTH의‘파란’이 최근 공식 오픈하면서 포털 시장에 파란을 예고하고 있고, 미니홈피로 돌풍을 일으킨 싸이월드를 합병한 SK커뮤니케이션즈의 네이트닷컴은 업계 선두를 넘보고 있다. 여기에 최근 한발 물러서긴 했으나 영화.음악.게임 콘텐츠에서 막강한 지배력을 갖춘 CJ까지 가세해 벤처 텃밭이었던 포털 시장에 대기업을 등에 업은 공룡 등장을 알렸다. 하지만 터줏대감인 NHN.다음.야후코리아 등 전문 포털업체들도 쉽게 물러서지 않을 태세다. 이들 업체들은 검색, 커뮤니티, 메일 등 다양한 신규 서비스를 경쟁적으로 선보이며 전면전을 준비하고 있다. 이에 따라 하반기 포털 시장은 기존 인터넷 전문 포털들과 시장지배력을 갖춘 대기업 포털간의 피할 수 없는 진검승부가 예고되고 있다. 하반기 혈전이 예고되는 공룡기업과 벤처의 싸움이‘골리앗과 다윗’싸움이 될지,‘ 고래싸움에 새우등 터지는’격이 될지 주목된다.

  • Our vision is to see the North and there is a large visual target that the two exchanges and cooperation and unity that put the main enemy of enemies in mind in need. North Korea is the main enemy was illegal invasion June 25, 1950 July 27, 1953 has continued after the armistice join the illegal provocations and cease fire violations so far. August 4, 2015, North Korea was operating by the power differential that operate on an all-out war and declared the initial state after the exhibition gave another provocative DMZ wood box mines. US-ROK military was in the process of real-time detection of the North Korean power operation and the results were broadcast live through the media. Looking at these military provocations on the threat of asymmetrical power of North Korea's military threat, we would like to present how to respond.

  • The objective of this study was to use the Lanchester equation to predict the outcome of our engagement between our unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) (Blue Group) and enemy UAV (Red Group). Lanchester's law states that the power of corps is proportional to the number of combatants. A second law states that the power of corps is proportional to the square of the number of combatants. The first law is a suitable law for guerrilla warfare while the second law is known as the law suitable for all-out war. Therefore, the second law is commonly used. The second law of Lanchester's was used in this study to predict engagement results. We estimated the battle loss rate value to win the battle as well as the required power number. We also predicted power number to make the damage of our group less than one. The battle loss rate to reliably receive victory when the enemy's UAV and the ally's UAV are equal in number of combat units must be 1: 1.5 or more.

  • As the low labor-productivity is being floated up to be the most limiting factor in barley cropping, the endeavor of many researchers concerned have been concentrated on recovering from that. For this reason, in this experiment 8 kinds of sowing methods were employed to survey the yield productivity and the labor-requirement of each methods. And with promising the possibility of consistent mechanization, both prediction of the assurable requirement of labor investment and calculation of the labor productivity in each method were estimated so that the possibility of labor-saving in barley cultivation investigated. Also sowing methods for labor-saving cultivation were presented according to the labor-structure of farm as divided with the phases.
