Customer Satisfaction and the Fit between Supply Chain Context and Postponement-Speculation Strategies -The Case of Electronic Products- (공급체인의 투기 및 순연 전략 적합성이 고객 만족도에 미치는 영향 -전자제품을 중심으로-)

  • Supply chain (SC) strategies will influence corporate performance and customer satisfaction. However, few empirical research has investigated the impact of the gap between prescriptive and current strategy on customer satisfaction. Based on the profile analysis with data from 31 products, the results of this study show the significant relationship between customer satisfaction and the fit between SC context and speculation-postponement strategies. The results imply that different SC strategies should be applied in accordance with product attributes and supply environments.

  • The BSC which was proposed by Kaplan and Norton, is being used as a general performance measurement tool in various firms and industries. BSC approach links strategic objectives with specific operation indices and it can efficiently evaluate the attainment of the goals of the firm. This study is a BSC based case of the government R&D institute which is staffed with knowledge experts in the research areas. In order to bring a major change to a public research organization and shape a strategy focused organization, it is essential to understand the proper methodology of the whole construction process of BSC from the mission of the institute through the establishment of vision and strategic direction, KPI building, and a strategy map set, to the implementation of the BSC monitoring system. By investigating the application process, in this research we intend to provides useful implications in the BSC construction process of public research agencies.

  • IT 기업과 같이 그들이 보유한 지식이 수익 창출의 근원이 되는 기업들은 개인의 경험들을 조직의 지식으로 변환하고, 보존하여 그들의 구성원들이 이러한 지식을 활용할 수 있도록 하기 위해 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 지식 경영의 중요성을 강조하는 많은 선행연구들은 이러한 활동이 조직 학습을 가속화시키며, 경쟁력을 강화시킴으로써 시장 변화에 대한 대응능력을 강화시킬 수 있음을 강조한다. 그러나 구성원들의 가용 시간이 곧 생산을 위한 투입 요소가 되는 IT기업에 있어서 지식관리활동은 조직 구성원들이 수익 창출을 위한 업무수행 시간을 할애해야 하고 동시에 비용을 발생시키는 딜레마를 안고 있다. 이러한 이유로 IT기업의 경우 시간과 재원의 배분은 전사 적 전략수립에 있어서 매우 중요한 정책 결정이 됨에도 불구하고 이제까지 이를 종합적인 시각에서 이해하고자 하는 연구는 그리 많지 않았다. 본 논문은 한 IT기업의 사례를 통해 비재무적 자산인 지식을 효과적으로 관리하고 이를 통하여 재무적 성과를 극대화하기 위한 시스템 다이내믹스 모델의 전략적 활용방안을 모색해 보았다. 이러한 시도는 경영자를 비롯한 의사결정 자들이 지식의 동태성과 이에 영향을 미치는 여러 영향요인들에 대한 단선적인 이해를 벗어나 종합적인 견지에서 기업이 보유한 지식의 구조와 행태를 이해하는데 도움이 될 것이며 이를 통하여 기업의 지식관리 전략 수립의 기초를 제공해 줄 것이다.

  • Nowadays, industry clusters have been considered as critical factors for regional competitiveness and economic revitalization. It should be important to evaluate strategic positioning and establish competition strategies for Korean industry clusters. I proposed strategic positioning, identified problems, and established strategic directions by analyzing potential attractiveness based on growth and productivity and retained capabilities of proximity, networks, correlation and revenue increase for 7 regional industry clusters. In addition, I analyzed best practices of global industry clusters to provide implications on establishing competition strategies.

  • This study analyzed the moderating role of the suitability factors of corporate strategies and information system strategies targeting small and medium sized transportation companies in Korea. The analytical result has found that the suitable factors of corporate strategies and information system strategies play the moderating role in the ERP introduction factors and internal performance. In other words, the suitability factors of corporate strategies and information system strategies were analyzed to play the moderating role in support of CEOs, education/training, users' IT capabilities, standardization/formulation of business, infrastructure of information technologies, and internal performance. The result of this study based on the above analytical results has found that introduction performance will be maximized when ERP packages are introduced in the small and medium-sized transportation companies and corporate strategies properly harmonize with the introduction strategies of ERP packages in the companies.

  • 대부분 선진국 수산업은 국가경제에 차지하는 비중은 미미하나 해양생태 보전이나 해양식량안정 등의 중요성을 고려하여 국가개발 전략적 관점에서 큰 관심을 둔다. 그리고 인구나 식량소비 규모에 비해 수산자원이 풍부한 저개발국의 수산업은 국가경제 발전의 주요한 산업적 역할을 수행한다. 최근 한국을 포함한 일부 선진국에서는 창조경제적 수산업을 통하여 새로운 성장동력을 개발하여 수산업의 산업적 역할을 보다 산업화하는 전략적 발전을 지속적으로 추진하고 있다. 수산업의 창조경제적 발전은 주로 수산자원의 합리적 보존관리, 어업인의 소득증대와 어촌사회 복지향상뿐만 아니라 새로운 수산물 시장수요 창출 등에 주안점을 두고 있다. 본 연구에서는 수산창조지수(ICSF; Index of Creativity Space for Fisheries)를 분석하여 수산업의 지속적 개발 내지 회복에 있어 창조경제적 요인의 역할과 중요성을 평가하였다. 수산업의 창조성을 결정하는 수산창조지수(ICSF)는 기술(technology), 재능(talent), 다양성(tolerance)의 결합적 결과로 구성된다. 이를 통하여 창조경제적 측면에서 수산업의 지속적 발전 가능 잠재력을 평가하게 된다. 수산창조지수(ICSF)를 이용하여 한국 수산업이 지니는 창조성을 분석한 결과 대부분 수산분야에서 창조성을 기반으로 하는 지속적 수산업 발전 전략에 높은 관심을 보였다. 특히 한국 수산업은 보다 효과적인 자원 및 어업관리 정책의 이행을 통하여 창조경제적 편익의 증대를 모색하는 전략이 높이 평가되었다.

The impact of CEOs' capability & alliance management capability on the performance of venture's global alliance (중소벤처기업의 경영진 역량과 제휴관리역량이 글로벌 제휴의 재무적 성과에 미치는 영향)

  • Previous researches have been conducted on the drivers of alliance performance up to date. Unlike existing literatures, we examine the influence of alliance management capability as direct drivers on venture's alliance performance. Based upon organizational capability theory, we proposed that coordination capability, relationship capability, learning capability are main components of alliance management capabilities. In addition, we proposed capability of CEO as forth alliance management capability in global ventures. Using 78 global ventures as research sample, this study shows that these four alliance capabilities have considerable influence on financial performance of ventures with global alliances.

  • While industrial ecology theories and policy approaches have been considerably influential in regional economy, the dynamism and limitations of regional venture ecosystem are less clearly examined. In particular, the activities of strategic network brokerage require further research in relation to its internal and external interactions and collaborative mechanisms. Based on the analysis results of conditions of Daegu Gyeongbuk regional venture firms, this article examines the necessities of strategic network brokerage in regional venture ecosystem in the dimensions of network conditions as the intrinsic limitations, of innovation direction method outcome as the extrinsic trends, and of the related regional demands. In particular, this article tries to explore the roles and activity scopes of strategic network brokerage to contribute for making up for the weakness of diverse network infrastructures of regional venture ecosystem, for dealing with the mismatch for the extrinsic change trends of industrial technologies, and for fulfilling the strengthening trends of intrinsic capacities.

A Study on the Relationship between the Management Strategies, Innovation Activities, and Business Performance of a Company (기업의 경영전략 및 혁신활동과 경영성과와의 관계성 연구)

  • For this study, a survey was conducted with the employees of small and medium-size enterprises (SMEs) located in Seoul and in Gyeonggi province. In the end, a total of 328 valid questionnaires were received and used in the analysis. The data of this study were analyzed using two statistics programs: SPSS Statistics 22.0 and AMOS 22.0. As for the method to verify the hypothesis, we used a structural equation model. The key findings of this study are as follows. First, the results of correlation analysis between management strategy factors, innovation activities, and business performance showed that the factors that were at a higher level of correlation were the technology differentiation strategies, marketing differentiation strategies, and the cost-driven strategy. Second, the strategic management factors that influenced innovation activities were in the following order: marketing differentiation, technology differentiation, and the cost-driven strategy, while the valid factors that affected business performance with significance were only the marketing differentiation strategy and the cost-driven strategy. Third, while the analysis showed that the technology differentiation strategy did not have a direct effect on business performance, it was shown that the relationship between the technology differentiation strategy and business performance was completely mediated by innovation activities.
