Development of Highly Efficient Underwater Loudspeaker for Attracting and Threatening Fish (어류의 유집과 구집용 수중 스피커 개발에 관한 연구)

  • Fisheries policy change from catching to farming requires more intensive consideration for aquaculture industry. The oceanic farm is a desirable cost effective aquaculture method. However. in odor to gather fish in the oceanic farm, eating sound or any attracting sound should be radiated through underwater loudspeaker. In this Paper, it has been found in literature that the frequency range responding to fish is about 16Hz to 13kHz but sensitive frequency range is about 150Hz to 2kHz and sound pressure level is about 100dB to 150dB reference $1{\mu}Pa$. Therefore, frequency range and output sound level of designed underwater loudspeaker has been specified as 150Hz to 3kHz and 100dB to 145dB reference $1{\mu}bar$. respectively To verify the stability and the endurance to the pressure of 40m water depth, manufactured underwater loudspeaker was examined before sea trial in manufactured water pressure tank which gives a maximum of 10 atmospheric Pressure. We experimented on acoustic characteristic with manufactured underwater loudspeaker under water depth of 10m.

  • This paper presents a method of ANC for transfonrer noise control utilizing a sproker and microphone pair. In this study, the main focus is on identifying the dynamic characteristics of speaker - amplifier microphone path. This study presents a theoretical method to identify the dynamic characteristics of speaker-microphone pairs. The transfer functions of microphone - speaker pair have been estimated utilizing sequential least square(SLS) algorithm. We identified the estimated transfer function has stable JXlles and zeros in z-plane. This paper also propose an architecture far the noise cancellation to which we applied the estimated transfer function.nction.

  • This paper presents a new method of designing room equalization filters using a warped common acoustical pole and zero (WCAPZ) modeling. The proposed method is capable of significantly reducing the order of the equalization filters without sacrificing the filter performance, especially, at low frequencies. Thus, the associated input-output delay is much smaller than the conventional block transform method while its computational complexity is comparable to it. The computational complexity also is still comparable to the conventional room equalization method, since the filter is implemented in the linear frequency domain after the pole-zero dewarping. Simulation results confirm that the use of the proposed algorithm significantly improves the room equalization over a range of low frequencies.

  • 케이블 시스템의 사고는 예방 진단에 근거한 정확한 진단으로 피할 수 있으며, 잔여수명 예측 기술은 진단 방법의 체계적인 적용에 의해 향상될 수 있다. 따라서 본 고에서는 케이블 시스템 진단 방법의 체계적인 개발을 위해서 60 kV급 이상의 종이 절연 혹은 고분자 절연 전력 케이블과 그 접속 자재에 대해서만 진단 방법을 개략적으로 소개만하고 있으며 수트리에 관련된 열화, 절연체의 열화를 제외한 모든 열화현상과 DC 케이블에 대해서는 언급을 하지 않았다. 회전기 고체절연체의 열화에 의해 야기되는 변화는 회전기 진동을 발생 시키고, 진동은 기계에 심각한 손상을 발생시킨다. 회전기의 절연열화 진단은 유전손실, 유전율, 음향 등의 측정/분석으로 가능하고 적용 방법은 on-line/off-line으로 가능하다. 절연 시스템의 열화정도 판정은 회전기의 적절한 보수시기의 판단을 가능하게 하여 유지 보수비의 절감 및 회전기의 수명연장을 가능하게 할 것이다.

  • An equivalent electroacoustic circuit approach of estimating the sound absorption coefficient for parallel perforated plate system is proposed. The proposed approach is validated by comparing the calculated absorption coefficients of a parallel single layer perforated plate system with the values measured by the two-microphone impedance tube method for various porosity and the number of perforated plate. The sound absorbing performances of parallel and series perforated plate systems are compared and discussed from a standpoint of frequency bandwidth with sound absorption. The proposed approach is further extended to the parallel double layer perforated plate system.

  • The low- frequency acoustic sensor using the recently developed FBG has an excellent merits which the existing fiber-optic sensor has and also it has an excellent signal sensing effect in the environment of low-frequency($30Hz{\sim}300Hz$). Furthermore, we can expect the utilization of low-frequency signal defection instead of existing microphones in the environment of electric noise and also it can be developed as the high-sensibility multiplexing through the sensor array system.

  • The acoustic absorption of a multiple layer perforated plate system is very good near the resonance frequency region, while it has been regarded as a demerit that its frequency bandwidth is considerably narrow. In order to overcome such a demerit, the parallel perforated plates with different porosities are proposed. The sound absorption of such system composed of a parallel perforated plate is calculated by an equivalent electroatoustic circuit approach and validated by comparing the calculated absorption coefficients with those measured by the two-microphone impedance tube method. The sound absorptive characteristics and performance of parallel perforated plate systems are discussed from a standpoint of frequency bandwidth related with sound absorption.

  • In this paper, the thermoacoustic refrigerating system was implemented and its operation was experimentally verified. The system is composed of several parts ,4 inch midrange speaker, speaker housing, chamber, stack housing, stack of plates, heat exchangers, thin pipe and cavity. The system is filled with He gas at 10 bar and contains T-type thermocouples and condenser microphone for measuring the temperature and pressure inside, respectively. In addition, cooling water is used for protecting speaker from thermal destruction and cooling down the hot heat exchanger. For the experimental verification of the implemented refigerating system, electrical impedance and resonance characteristics were measured. The results showed that it was most efficient to drive the system at 340 Hz. When operated at 340 Hz, $30^\circ{C}$ environments and 50 electical watts, the temperature of the cold region decreased by $16^\circ{C}$. The dissatisfaction mainly comes from the incomplete thermal insulation of the cold region. We also pointed out some guidelines to improve the performance for later study.
