Survey on the nursing education (1977년도 간호교육실태조사)

  • 본 조사를 1977년 7월부터 11월까지 전국 52개교 간호교육기관을 대상으로 질문지에 의하여 간호교육기관의 교육 실태를 분석 검토한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. 전국의 간호교육기관 수는 대학과정 14개교(대학 2개교, 간호학과 12개교), 전문학교 37개교, 간호학교 1개교 이었다. 설립별로 분류하여 보면 국립은 9개교, 공립은 16개교, 사립은 27개교이었다. 2. 전국 간호교육기관의 재학생 수는 10,882명이었고 대학과정에 2908명, 전문학교과정에 7,974명이었다. 총 재학생중 남학생 수는 53명이었다. 3. 1977년도 졸업생 수는 총 3,097명으로 11월 현재 취업율은 78.8$\%$ 미취업율은 21.2$\%$을 나타내고 있다. 4. 전국의 총 간호교수는 603명으로 전임강사 이상 간호학 교수는 74%이었다. 대학과정의 학(과)장중 85.7%가 간호학 전공교수 이었으나 전문학교의 경우 기관장중 35.1%가 간호학 전공교수이었다. 5. 교수의 주당 강의시간 수는 대학과정의 경우 1$\~$3시간을 담당하는 교수가 52.6$\%$를 차지함에 비해, 전문학교의 경우 1$\~$3시간 담당교수는 11.0$\%$에 불과 하였으며 7$\~$9시간 담당교수가 28.0$\%$를 차지하고 16시간 이상 강의하는 교수도 2.6$\%$나 있었다. 교수의 정원을 질문 하였으나 자료 수집된 대부분의 학교에서 기록하지 않아 집계할 수 없었음을 밝히며, 끝으로 협조해주신 전국 간호교육 기관에 진심으로 감사드리면서 앞으로도 계속적인 지원과 협조를 바랍니다.

Development of Program Curriculum Based on ABEEK Criteria (ABEEK 인증기준에 의한 교육요소 및 교과과정 개발)

  • The third criterion of ABEEK criteria, program curriculum, currently causes confusions and questions among those who are preparing the accreditation, because the requirements in division system for student majors, that many universities adopt in Korea, contradicts those in the ABEEK criteria in various aspects, and the accreditation is new to this country. This paper describes the development procedure of the program curriculum according to the provisions of the ABEEK criteria, and discusses the easiness of the procedure and the difficulties we encountered during the curriculum development. It is found that the third criterion for program curriculum is well documented and provides an acceptable guideline for the preparation of ABEEK accreditation, although there are several aspects to be improved or clarified.

  • The purpose of this study is to revise the curriculum of mathematics, which is the basic for the engineering studies, especially for the disciplines of the electronic engineering, computer science, computer engineering, mechanical engineering, environmental engineering, civil engineering and architecture. Another goal of this research was to integrate a computer software, MATLAB into a mathematics course so that the mathematical concepts and theories in the course can be visualized to help students understand some difficult subjects and enhance their interest in mathematics.

Educational Needs for Employment Competency of College Students in Management Using IPA Technique

  • The purpose of this study is to analysis the educational needs for employment competency of college students in management. For this purpose, a survey about importance and retention level of employment competency was administered to 215 students at A college in Chungcheong between December 2 and 6, 2019. The difference between importance and retention level was analyzed through the corresponding sample t-test, and the educational needs was confirmed through the IPA technique. The results of Study were as follows: 'major knowledge capabilities' was found to be in the high priority of educational needs in all students.; male showed high-priority needs for 'information search, foreign language utilization' and female showed high-priority needs for 'information search, setting employment goals'; 'information search' was ranked as priority educational needs in all grades, it was necessary to add 'information search', 'foreign language utilization', 'fill out the necessary documents for job search' for 1 grade and 'Self-understanding', 'foreign language utilization' for 4 grade. The findings of this study may produce data useful for designing the employment support program for college students in management.

A Qualitative Study on Flipped Learning Experience in Major Subjects of Nursing Students (간호대학생의 전공교과목 플립러닝 수업에 대한 경험: 질적연구)

  • This study is a phenomenological study that aimed to understand the meaning of nursing students' experience of class using flipped learning method. The participants are 8 senior nursing students. The data collected by individual in-depth interviews and analyzed by Colaizzi's method. As a result of this study, 35 key themes and 11 clusters of themes were derived. The 11 thematic categories are classified in pre-education, in-classroom, and post-education. At the pre-education, the theme clusters are 'lack of information', 'psychological burden', 'different teaching methods', 'improvement of self-directed learning ability', and 'different learner's achievement'. At the in-class, the theme clusters are 'efficient teaching direction' and 'confidence improvement'. At the post-education stage, the theme clusters are 'positive influence on class', 'strengthening self-pay', 'not preferred', and 'lecture preference'. Therefore, a more diversified and in-depth repetitive study is suggested in order to apply the flipped learning method to the nursing major.

A Study on the Effectiveness of EPL Utilizing Programming Education based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) for Non-SW Major (비SW전공자 대상 문제중심학습(PBL) 기반의 EPL 활용 프로그래밍 교육의 효과성 연구)

  • Since the problem-based learning (PBL) shows the effectiveness of self-directed learning ability and internalization of learning motivation in the process of solving real problems, studies on PBL and application cases are actively pursued in the university education. This study analyzed the effects of PBL on the academic achievement and computational thinking in a non-SW major students' programming course. The programing course was divided into the PBL class and non-PBL class, and at the end of the classes, the scores of the exams and the results of questionnaires about the educational effectiveness and computational thinking were analyzed. As a result, the students in the PBL class, compared to those in the non-PBL class, showed significantly higher scores in the areas of the algorithm implementing skill, self-directed learning, problem solving ability, and continuous learning motivation.

Analysis of Informatics Curriculum in Germany(Bayern) (독일 바이에른 주의 정보 교육과정 분석)

  • With the advent of the age of the 4th Industrial Revolution, countries around the world are reinforcing informatics education to cope with changing society. The purpose of this study is to analyze the trends in German informatics education through the analysis of the German informatics curriculum, and provide implications for the informatics education of Korea. The analysis of German informatics education focused on the contents and changes of the informatics education of Bayern, which can be said to be the center of German education. As a result of this analysis, first, elementary education approaches 'informatics' from the viewpoint of integrated curriculums. Second, secondary education provides education that makes it possible to experience theory and practice by securing sufficient credit hours. Third, they reflected informatics subjects in entrance examinations, and sufficiently ensured links to higher education. This analysis confirmed that systematic informatics education requires many credit hours from elementary education, and links with secondary and higher education must be taken into consideration.

A Study on Comparing the Computer Science Education Hours between Public and Private Elementary Schools (공립초등학교와 사립초등학교의 정보교육 시수 비교 연구)

  • This study tried to analyze the hours for computer science education in private elementary schools located in Seoul, in order to find out how many lesson hours are required. According to online discussion participation in the 2022 revised curriculum survey results, it was found that students and parents wanted computer science education to be strengthened. Information education in public elementary schools consists of a separate unit in the practical subject based on the 2015 revised curriculum and is to be implemented for more than 17 hours. As a result of surveying the average hours of computer science education based on school reminder of 28 private elementary schools in Seoul, it was found that about 152 hours of information education were being operated for 6 years. This is about 9 times the gap in education hours compared to public elementary schools. Artificial intelligence is emerging as important, so the lesson hours of information education must be secured to strengthen students' future competency in morden society. Therefore, informatics curriculum should be independent as a subject and secure the number of hours in the elementary school level.

  • 8.15광복후부터 현재까지의 지리교육은 1960년대 초기까지는 주로 중등교육이 중심이되어 각급학교의 교육과정의 개편이 지리교육의 방향을 결정하였던 것은 주지의 사실이다. 그러나 필자는 중등학교의 지리교육에 한정하지 않고 1960년대에 들어서면서 부터 각 대학에 신설된 지리학과 또는 사회생활(교육)과내의 지리전공(이후 편의상 지리과로 사용키로함)을 중심한 대학에서의 지리교육 그리고 이들 각 대학의 활동, 지리교육에 관계된 활동 및 각종 연구업적을 중심으로 개괄적으로 정리하였다. 본 논문중에 인용된 연구활동이나 업적등은 주로서 말미에 기재하였다.

교육 수요자 중심의 학부제

  • 현재 우리의 대학교육 체제가 크게 변화하고 있는 가운데 학부제의 도입이 최대의 관심사로 부각되고 있다. 그러나 대부분 대학이 학부제의 특성을 볼 수 있는 복수전공 취득이 가능한 구체적인 교육과정 등도 마련해놓지 않고 유사계열의 학과들을 묶어 학부라고 이름지음으로써 '학부제=학과 통폐합'이라는 오해를 불러 일으키며, 교육개혁에 대한 거부감마저 낳고 있다. 이른바 교육소비자 중심시대에 대비하기 위해서는 학부제만이 유일한 해결책은 아닐 것이다. 하지만 교육서비스의 수요자를 중심으로 한 학부제라면 경쟁력 있는 대학으로 가는 길임에는 틀림이 없는 것 같다.
